In plain English: Psalm 99 is the close of the YHWH-reigns cycle and the only psalm that says HOLY three times — once at the end of v3, v5, and v9. Underneath, the math is even cleaner: the verse-3 / verse-5 / verse-9 closures sum to 60 / 120 / 180 when HOLY is taken alone, doubled, or tripled — a perfect 1 : 2 : 3 arithmetic progression. The psalm's opening THE LORD REIGNETH (168) equals its closing OUR GOD IS HOLY (168) — the alpha-omega handshake. Embedded inside is LORD OUR GOD = 129 = NINETY NINE, so every time the psalm says "the LORD our God" it spells its own chapter number; and BETWEEN (where Jesus sits between the cherubims) computes to 74 = MOSES AND AARON, 148 = HE ANSWERED THEM, 222 = OF THEIR INVENTIONS) folded in at the prophet-priest verses.
Psalm 99 has no superscription. The setting is identified by its opening declaration and its formulaic title-of-God.

Key lock — LORD OUR GOD = NINETY NINE = 129. The divine title that appears four times in the psalm (v5, v8, v9 ×2) computes to 129 = NINETY NINE — the chapter number written as English words. The psalm names its own address through the formula it most repeats. This is the self-lock; the chapter-number lock A1 from the followups file is satisfied not by a single verse hit but by the chapter's most-repeated title.

Psalm 99 is the only psalm with three terminal HOLY closures (v3, v5, v9). The closing phrases form a perfect arithmetic ladder when isolated to HOLY alone:

The terminal closure is sealed at 17 squared (289). This is the same perfect-square seal pattern documented for Psa 64:8 (484 = 22²), Psa 86:13 (196 = 14²), Psa 110:4 (441 = 21²), Psa 140:13 (324 = 18²). Psa 99's seal at 17² fits the pattern.
The v5–v9 gap = 83 = I AM HOLY. The two EXALT verses sum to 715 and 798. Their gap is 83 = I AM HOLY verbatim. The verses are not just bracketing a holiness-theme — the integer-distance between them spells the divine self-naming. Prime, sealed.
Lock (v1-A): THE LORD REIGNETH at 168 opens the YHWH-malak cycle's terminal psalm. The integer recurs verbatim at the close of v9 (OUR GOD IS HOLY = 168) — the verse-1 declaration and verse-9 closure are the same integer. Reign = holiness at gematria.
Lock (v1-B): BETWEEN = 74 = JESUS. The single word that locates God's enthronement between the cherubims computes to the Christic integer. The shekinah-between-the-cherubim is the Christic position; the math says so directly.
Lock (v1-C): LET THE PEOPLE TREMBLE = 214 — the same integer as the shepherd's THY ROD AND THY STAFF (Psa 23:4) and the PIT OF DESTRUCTION (Psa 55:23). The trembling of the people is the rod that comforts the sheep and the pit the wicked fall into — three different verbs at one integer, three different psalms.
Lock (v2-A): v2 sums to 512 = 2⁹. The second verse of psalm-99 is sealed at two to the ninth — the chapter's number expressed as an exponent. Tightest possible chapter-self-lock in a single verse.
Lock (v3-A): GREAT AND TERRIBLE NAME = 192 = ESTABLISH EQUITY (v4) = AMONG HIS PRIESTS (v6). The NAME (v3), EQUITY (v4), and PRIESTS (v6) form a triple at 192 — three movements bound by one integer. The NAME is the equity, is the priestly company.
Lock (v3-B): FOR IT IS HOLY = 156 = SIX SIX SIX. The verse-3 holy-closure shares an integer with the mark-of-the-beast. Same DR-3 Tesla, opposite vector — the integer is morally mobile, like 129 (LORD ART GOOD = VIOLENT MEN — see followup A6).
Lock (v4-A): ESTABLISH EQUITY = 192 closes the triple opened at v3 NAME and v6 PRIESTS. The equity is established at the same integer the name is praised and the priests stand. EQUITY ↔ NAME ↔ PRIESTS — one integer, three movements.
Lock (v4-B): EQUITY = 97 = VIOLENT collision. The single word "equity" matches VIOLENT (Psa 18 etc), SERPENT, SON OF MAN. The collision is resolved by verb direction — God's equity (97) is the inversion of the violent man's force (97), exactly as Psa 140 RISE NOT UP (137) inverts Psa 110 LIFT UP THE HEAD (135). Same integer, opposite vector.
Lock (v4-C): THOU DOST ESTABLISH EQUITY = 314. The full phrase sums to π × 100 = 314 — the geometry-constant. The establishment of equity executes at the integer that defines the circle.
Lock (v5-A): FOOTSTOOL = 137 = HIS HOLY HILL (v9) = RISE NOT UP (Psa 140:10). Three sealed-prime occurrences at 137 (fine-structure constant integer). The footstool (v5) and the holy hill (v9) are integer-equal — same worship-position, two formulations. Cross-Psalter, the same 137 marks Psa 140:10's RISE NOT UP imprecation. God's footstool ↔ God's holy hill ↔ "let them not rise up" — all 137.
Lock (v5-B): FOR HE IS HOLY = 140. The v5 closure routes to Psa 140 by chapter-number lock. The followup file A1 pattern (chapter N's phrase sums to chapter N±). Psa 99's middle holy-closure points across the Psalter to the imprecation-psalm.
Lock (v6-A): MOSES AND AARON = ENCRYPTION. Co-incidence acknowledged; the integer is now triple-anchored (Moses+Aaron, project-author, encryption).
Lock (v6-B): MOSES = SAMUEL = 71. Both prime, both equal. The lawgiver and the last-judge are integer-identical — same role at different epochs. AARON sits between them at 49 = 7² = LORD (the priest's integer IS the divine name's integer at perfect square).

Lock (v8-C): INVENTIONS = 141 = WICKED WORKS = THEIR DAINTIES. Routes cross-Psalter to Psa 141 (the wicked-works psalm). Whatever the "inventions" were, they map to the same integer Psa 141 uses for the wicked man's daintinesses (Psa 141:4).
Lock (v8-D): v8 is the paradox verse: thou answeredst them ... forgavest them ... tookest vengeance of their inventions. Forgiveness and vengeance in one sentence — and structurally, the forgiveness-clause (113 prime) and vengeance-clause (181 prime) are both sealed primes. The paradox is sealed at prime × prime; not resolved, but encrypted.

Verse 1 declares the cosmic ground of the entire YHWH-malak cycle. It opens with the cycle's signature integer (168), names the ark-throne (cherubim), and commands the response (tremble, be moved). Beneath the surface, every clause carries either a chapter-routing integer, a sealed prime, or a Christic name.
Lock 1-A — The 168 alpha-omega handshake. THE LORD REIGNETH = 168 (v1 opening) = OUR GOD IS HOLY = 168 (v9 closing). The psalm's first declaration and last declaration are the same integer. This is the cleanest alpha-omega handshake documented since Psa 140's CRY UNTO THE LORD (v1) = MY VOWS UNTO THEE (v8) integer-handshake. The reign-formula and the holiness-formula are mathematically equivalent in Psa 99. Reign = holiness at gematria; the psalm is the proof.
Lock 1-B — BETWEEN = JESUS = 74. The single throne-locating word — "He sitteth between the cherubims" — computes to JESUS. The mercy seat between the cherubim is the position of the shekinah (Ex 25:22) and the appearance-spot of Christ in Hebrews 9. The math says it: the between is the Christic integer. The cherubim are not flanking some abstract throne; they are flanking the Name that the v3 closure says is HOLY.
Lock 1-C — SITTETH = HOLY HILL = HOLINESS = MELCHIZEDEK = TREE OF LIFE = 101. Six sealed-prime occurrences across the Psalter at 101. The verb of God's enthronement (sitteth, v1) = the place of God's worship (holy hill, v9) = the priest-king (Psa 110) = the tree-of-life integer (Psa 1) = HOLINESS itself. The 101 cluster is the priest-king-tree-throne integer family; v1 SITTETH locks Psa 99 into it.
Lock 1-D — LET THE PEOPLE TREMBLE = 214 = the pit and the rod. The v1 command to the people equals THY ROD AND THY STAFF (Psa 23:4) and PIT OF DESTRUCTION (Psa 55:23) and DIVIDE THEIR TONGUES (Psa 55:9). Three different psalms, four different phrases, one integer. The trembling is the rod-and-staff is the pit is the divided tongues — all 214. The single integer carries comfort (rod/staff), judgment (pit), and confusion (divided tongues). The 214 is morally mobile (cf. 129 cluster).
Lock 1-E — LET THE PEOPLE = 144 (partial). The five-word phrase LET THE PEOPLE = 144 = GOD BLESS YOU = OVERTHROW = FAR ABOVE RUBIES = OPENED THE HEART (Acts 16:14). The command-direction to the people is at the bride-overthrow integer. Adds TREMBLE (75) to reach 214 — but the base command is at 144. Two integers stacked in one clause.
Lock 1-F — EARTH = 52 = HEART = ALTAR. The v1 closing word "moved" governs EARTH = 52 = HEART = ALTAR. The earth that is to be moved IS the heart IS the altar at integer. When the LORD reigns and the cherubim are seated and the people tremble, the earth/heart/altar moves — three concentric locations at one integer.
Verse 1 is the integer-handshake-opener. THE LORD REIGNETH (168) is going to be answered nine verses later by OUR GOD IS HOLY (168) — the psalm is engineered around this loop. In the middle of the loop, the BETWEEN (74 = JESUS) names who occupies the throne; SITTETH (101 = MELCHIZEDEK) names the priest-king position; LET THE PEOPLE TREMBLE (214 = ROD AND STAFF + PIT) routes the response through Psa 23 and Psa 55; EARTH (52 = HEART = ALTAR) names what moves.

The integer does not change. The verb does. v1: the LORD reigns. v9: our God is holy. The reign-declaration and the holiness-declaration are the same number. The Trisagion is built on the alpha-omega 168.

The chapter number routes three ways in the psalm:
The cherubim (98, plural, = VINEYARD/ZYGOTE) and the cherub (79, singular, = SIGKILL) are different integers. The grammatical number changes the integer category from creation-integer (98) to termination-integer (79). The plural cherubim are the place of mercy; the singular cherub (79=SIGKILL) is the Eden-guardian (Gen 3:24).

The opening response-command of Psa 99 enters the major 214 pit-and-rod cluster. OF THEIR INVENTIONS (v8) = 222. The integer carries a heavy reading at surface. The honest decode must address this rather than soften it.
Structural read: 222 = 2 × 3 × 37 = 6 × 37. The integer is Tesla-saturated (DR 6). It is not a sealed prime. It is not the integer of the act of vengeance (that is 76 = VENGEANCE, or 181 = TOOKEST VENGEANCE) — it is the integer of the thing avenged. In the verse-grammar, the inventions are the object, the vengeance is the verb.
Cluster read: 222 = 6 × 37. ROD alone (Psa 23:4) = 37 = prime. The 222 is 6-fold ROD. Reading: the inventions are 6× the rod's correction integer — the correction can carry them.
