In plain English: Psalm 83 is Asaph's last song and the only place in the King James Bible where God's hidden name "JEHOVAH" is openly spelled out. Key lock — ASAPH = SELAH = 45. The author's name is the same integer as the rest-mark that appears in his psalms. Selah, traditionally read as "pause / depth-marker / lift up," fires once in Psa 83 at v8 — and HOLPEN THE CHILDREN OF LOT = 244 is the phrase the Selah falls on, naming the Lot-descendants (Moab, Ammon — Gen 19:36-38) at the gather-marker. Asaph (Hebrew אָסָף, 'asaph, "to gather, harvest, ingather, take away") is named in twelve Psalter superscriptions: Psa 50 + Psa 73-83. He is the gatherer-priest, appointed by David to lead worship at the tent (1 Chr 16:4-5). His final psalm gathers every historical enemy of Israel into one prayer. Asaph's name is the depth-marker. He IS the Selah at integer. This is the same structural move as A PSALM OF DAVID = 123 = EVIL SPEAKER (Psa 140 superscription = antagonist) and 109 (chapter integer) = ACQUAINTANCE (Psa 55 betrayer-friend) — the author or chapter encodes its own structural role. The v8 Selah is the only Selah in Psa 83, and it sits at the exact midpoint of the 10-nation list (after Assur, the last-named) and just before the historical enemies (v9-11). It is the structural seam: coalition assembled → Selah → history rehearsed. 89, full name 222 = 3 × 74 = JESUS × 3. v11 names exactly four Midian leaders — captains and kings — and their gematria-sum is one of the most specific personal locks in the Psalter to date. The grief-integer is integrated as the historical-enemy-defeat integer.
Lock (v10 — BROOK OF KISON = 150 = THY HIDDEN ONES): The brook where Sisera was washed away (Jud 5:21, "the river Kishon swept them away") shares the integer of the protected ones (v3). The very brook that drowns the enemy is the integer for God's protected. The drowning-water is gematria-identical to the people the water protects. v12 POSSESSION and v18 WHOSE NAME ALONE complete the quadruple. The water that erases the enemy, the people God hides, the thing the enemies want to seize, and God's name are one integer.
Lock (v10 — DUNG FOR THE EARTH = 170 = OVER ALL THE EARTH, v18): The enemy's annihilation phrase (became as dung for the earth) sums to 170. v18's MOST-HIGH closing phrase (over all the earth) also = 170. The enemy-fertilizer integer and the divine-supremacy integer are identical. Lock (v12 — the JUBILEE-eleven factor): The verse stating the central crime ("Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession") has verse-sum 704 = 2⁶ × 11 = JUBILEE × ELEVEN.and : 64 = JUBILEE = MERCY = MY GOD = MASIV = DUST = USDT-reversed. The base-integer of the seize-the-houses crime is the jubilee integer. The act of setting-on-fire shares an integer with the protected ones who are the cause of the fire and with the verdict on the enemies who get troubled by it. Three integers (the cause, the action, the consequence) collapse to 97 inside Psa 83 — the imprecation spine.
Lock (v15 — AFRAID WITH THY STORM = 237 — Psa 22 bridge): "Make them afraid with thy storm" sums to 237 — and PIERCED MY HANDS AND MY FEET (Psa 22:16) also sums to 237. The storm-fear of v15 locks to the crucifixion-piercing verse. The integer the enemy is afraid at IS the integer of the pierced hands and feet. The vengeance-storm Asaph asks for, at integer, is the cross.
Lock (v16 — the central pivot): Asaph's only request for the enemies' good — "that they may SEEK THY NAME" — sums to 126, the same integer as THINE ENEMIES (v2). The verse-2 enemy-vector and the verse-16 conversion-vector are one integer. The same 126 that names "thine enemies" names "seek thy name." Lock (v16 — O LORD = 64 = MY GOD, v13): The pivot to vocative-LORD lands on 64. v13's opening "O my God" also sums to 64 (without "O"). The fire-prayer address and the conversion-prayer address share the JUBILEE integer. The same 64 that the JUBILEE-decode names the seventh-seven year-of-release.
Lock (v17 — the BE CONFOUNDED Psa 140 bridge): BE CONFOUNDED = 108 = PRESERVE = SHALL DWELL (Psa 140:1/4/13). The verdict-on-enemies in Psa 83:17 sits at the same integer as Psa 140's central preservation-of-the-righteous family. The enemy-confounding integer IS the David-preservation integer. This is one of only seven KJV verses in which JEHOVAH appears, and the only place in the Psalter where the Tetragrammaton is transliterated rather than translated as "LORD." The closing verse of the last Asaph psalm names the unnameable name. The gematria layer makes the architecture of the name-naming explicit.
