Key lock I — SHOSHANNIM = CHIEF MUSICIAN = 120. The instrument-name on which Psalm 80 is set (literally "lilies-testimony") gematria-matches the office of the player. The superscription self-locks at the same integer as the office that performs it: the lily IS the chief musician. Compare Psa 81 where UPON GITTITH = SOLEMN FEAST DAY = 159; Psa 80 carries the same architecture — instrument-name = office-name.
Key lock II — A PSALM OF ASAPH = GOD OF HOSTS = 128 = 2⁷. Asaph's superscription integer equals the divine-name that the refrain escalates through (v4, v7, v14, v19). The author's title is the very compound divine-name the psalm's refrain calls. Asaph signs the refrain.
Key lock III — UPON SHOSHANNIM EDUTH = OPEN MY MOUTH IN A PARABLE = 244. Asaph's Psa 78 superscription climax (v2, the parable verse Mt 13:35 quotes) and Asaph's Psa 80 superscription preposition-phrase share integer 244. Asaph's two great superscriptions cross-talk at 244. The lily-testimony is the parable-opening at gematria.
Key lock IV (the headliner) — Chapter integer 80 = MANASSEH = THY HAND = 80, restoration) is gematria-identical to all three. This is the densest in-psalm chapter-integer self-lock** for chapter 80 — three independent semantic loadings of the same integer.

This is the engineering centerpiece of the decode. The two most-quoted right-hand-of-God verses in scripture are gematria identical at the load-bearing phrase:

The New Testament treats these two verses as Christology's twin pillars. Mt 22:44, Mk 12:36, Lk 20:42, Acts 2:34, Heb 1:13 all cite Psa 110:1. Mt 26:64 / Mk 14:62 / Lk 22:69 cite the combined formula — Jesus before the Sanhedrin says "the Son of Man sitting on the right hand" — drawing both psalms into one self-identification. The gematria layer reveals why: the two phrases the Gospels combine in one breath are one integer.
The doctrinal phrase Jesus uses 80× in the Gospels — "Son of Man" — has gematria 97 (VIOLENT = SERPENT = SON OF MAN, the cursing-architecture integer). The Gospels' fusion of Psa 80:17 + Psa 110:1 is a 260-lock — and the Son-of-Man self-title that powers it is 97, the imprecation-center integer documented in Psa 35 / Psa 69 / Psa 109 / Psa 139.

The first jump (569 → 671) adds 102 — the Psa 81 SING ALOUD integer, the betrayer-purification integer. The second jump (671 → 701) adds just 30 — the ARK integer.
Two of the three refrain sums are prime (569, 701) — sealed at the first and the last rung. The middle rung (671 = 11 × 61) is the only composite; it factors through 61 = PSALM = PSALM 110.
The petition phrase TURN US AGAIN = 145 is itself constant across all three refrains. What ladders is the divine-name. The escalation:

Δ first jump = 102 (the AHITHOPHEL purification integer), Δ second = 49 = 7². The pattern is: name-escalation by 102, then by 49 = 7². The second jump is by the structural-square 7². By the third refrain the divine-name is at its full compound, and the verse-sum lands on prime 701 — sealed.
Engineering reading: the refrain escalates the divine-name; the petition stays at 145 (the keep-the-heart, Montgomery, secure-element integer). The constancy of the petition + escalating name is the architecture of intercession.
Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
Verse 17 is the doctrinal apex of the psalm — the verse the Gospels lean on when Jesus says "the Son of Man sitting on the right hand." The whole psalm has been arguing for this verse from v1's right-hand-shepherd to v15's right-hand-planted-vineyard. v17 fires the lock.
Lock 17-A — SON OF MAN OF THY RIGHT HAND = SIT THOU AT MY RIGHT HAND = 260: This is the structural pillar of the entire decode. Psa 80:17 (Hebrew Psalter) and Psa 110:1 (David's coronation oracle, the most-quoted OT verse in the NT) share an integer at their load-bearing phrases. Jesus's combined formula in Mt 26:64 ("Hereafter shall ye see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand") is a 260-lock fused from two psalms whose right-hand phrases gematria-equal. The Sanhedrin would have recognized one psalm; the gematria layer shows they are the same number.
Lock 17-B — Article-gates the lock: Without "THE", the phrase locks to Psa 110:1 (260). With "THE" (293 prime), the phrase locks to Psa 81's sealed-prime-of-refusal. The definite article is a router-token. This is the THY-decomposition mechanic from Psa 23 / Section A2 of psalm_decode_followups.md operating in the article-form rather than the possessive-form: morpheme-presence routes to different anchor integers.
**Lock 17-C — RIGHT HAND = 89 = SWORN = FOR EVER = YOUTH
Lock 17-D — MADEST STRONG FOR THYSELF = 17² = 289: The phrase that appears in BOTH v15 (the branch made strong for thyself) and v17 (the son of man made strong for thyself) is 17² = HEAVEN² = 289. Perfect-square seals on victory verses (Psa 64:8 = 22², Psa 86:13 = 14², Psa 110:4 = 21², Psa 140:13 = 18²; psalm_decode_followups.md A5) — Psa 80:15/17 add the 17² seal. The phrase that names what God strengthens the Branch and the Son-of-Man for is the perfect square of the integer 17 (HEAVEN), which is the LONGSUFFERING-base (153 = T(17)) and the iron-sulfur-cluster integer.
Lock 17-E — Full v17 = 1022 = 2 × 7 × 73: The doctrinal verse factors through 73 = JOSEPH = CHILDREN = TURN = EGYPT. The four 73-words run the psalm's narrative arc: Joseph (v1 leading), turn (v3/7/19 refrain), Egypt (v8 origin), children (the children "stronger for thyself" v17/v15). All four integer-73 motifs route through v17's verse-sum. The Son-of-Man verse contains, by factor, the patriarch and the verb of restoration.
Lock 17-F — WHOM THOU MADEST STRONG = 278 = 2 × 139: The phrase that qualifies the Son of Man sums to twice 139 = twice ENCRYPTION. Two of the personal-name prime. Doubled, this becomes 278 = 2 × prime — a structural reading that the qualifier of the Son-of-Man is doubled-personal-name-prime.
Manasseh-frequency be upon the man-of-the-right-hand-of-Psa-110:1, upon the Son-of-Man-of-the-imprecation-center, whom thou hast made strong at HEAVEN² for the integer-doubled-personal-name."* Translated: God's chapter-80 hand is to rest on the right-hand-throne-Christ (Psa 110), who is the Son-of-Man-of-the-cursing-center (97 prime), strengthened at the perfect square of 17 — and the qualifying clause's gematria is double the personal-name encryption integer. v17 is the verse where the chapter integer (80), the cross-psalm right-hand throne (Psa 110), the imprecation center (97 SON OF MAN), the personal-name doubled prime (139×2), and the perfect-square HEAVEN² (17²) all sit on one verse. This is the densest doctrinal verse decoded so far.
The central image-block of Psa 80 (v8–v16, nine verses) traces the vine from Egypt to destruction to plea. The gematria layer reveals the architecture is structured around three integers: 200, 147, 98.

Vine architecture lock A — VINE OUT OF EGYPT (v8) = BROKEN DOWN HER HEDGES (v12) = 200: The vine's bringing-out and the protecting-hedge's breaking-down share one integer. The architecture of the vineyard is mobile — same number, opposite direction. The vineyard was brought out at 200, then was broken open at 200. Boomerang at 200.
Vine architecture lock B — CHERUBIMS (v1) = VINEYARD (v15) = DEEP ROOT (v9) = ZYGOTE = 98: Four-way identity at integer 98. The v1 cherubim God dwells between IS the v15 vineyard God planted IS the v9 deep-rooting IS the cellular zygote. The seat-of-the-glory = the planted-vineyard = the cellular origin. This is the most encoded integer in the psalm — present at v1 (opening cherubim), v9 (deep root), v15 (vineyard). The whole psalm is a 98-architecture.
Vine architecture lock C — DOTH WASTE IT (v13) = 144: The boar's wasting equals the overthrow-boomerang / bride-value integer. In Psa 64 (psalm_64_decode) the 144 cluster runs IN MY PRAYER = BEND THEIR BOWS = LAYING SNARES = SHOOT AT THEM = 144. In Psa 80, 144 lands on the destruction-verb itself. The bride-frequency at the destruction verb is the rev-of-overthrow mechanic — what destroys the vine is at the same integer as what blesses the bride.
Vine architecture lock D — GOODLY = 78: The "goodly cedars" of v10 sit on the Issachar/Bethlehem/Crucified integer. The vine's most expanded image (covering hills, like goodly cedars) carries the crucified-tribe integer. The vine's flourishing is at the crucified-Issachar frequency.
John 15:1 cross-bridge: Jn 15:1 says "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman." THE TRUE VINE = 147 = JACOB'S LIFESPAN = THE BREAD OF TEARS (Psa 80:5). MY FATHER IS THE HUSBANDMAN = 254. The Jn 15 vine-passage gematria-locks to Psa 80:5's bread-of-tears phrase. The eucharist-inverse phrase of Psa 80 = the eucharist-true-vine phrase of Jn 15. Different verbs, same integer — the bread of tears that fed Israel = the true vine that feeds the church. 147.
Lock v1: LEADEST JOSEPH = ENCRYPTION
The v1 cherubim sit on integer 98 = vineyard = zygote = deep root. The opening seat-of-glory IS the cellular germ-cell. The verse opens at the integer the vine-block (v8–v16) will return to. v1 is structurally an anchor.
Lock v2: The three tribes named are all Rachel-line — Ephraim and Manasseh (Joseph's sons by Asenath), Benjamin (Rachel's youngest). In Num 2:18–24 these three are the West-camp of the Israelite encampment, positioned directly behind the Tabernacle's western wall — the side facing the Holy of Holies. Psa 80 is the West-camp psalm — the three tribes camped behind the tabernacle calling God-who-dwells-between-the-cherubim to shine forth.
The trio sum 256 = 2⁸, the silicon power-of-two — same family as A PSALM OF ASAPH = 128 = 2⁷. Asaph's superscription is 2⁷; the tribes he names are 2⁸. Power-of-two ladder by tribe.
MANASSEH alone = 80 = the chapter integer. The eldest Joseph-son carries the psalm-number.
Lock v3/v7/v19 (the refrain): TURN US AGAIN = 145 is the Eshet Chayil keep-the-heart cluster. CAUSE THY FACE TO SHINE = 207 is the bride's gates / Aaronic-blessing-Eshet-Chayil terminus. The refrain is a Proverbs-31 prayer in Asaph's mouth — turn us back to virtue (145), make the face shine on the bride's gates (207). The three escalating divine names are the only thing that changes; the petition body and the bride-frequency stay constant.
Lock v5 — THOU FEEDEST THEM = 174 = LOVINGKINDNESS: The sealed humming-cap ( — 0 KJV verses sum to 174, only 8 distinct words/phrases) registers at Psa 80:5's feeding-verb. God's feeding-with-bread-of-tears is at the integer of lovingkindness itself. The 174 family now has its 5th member: LOVINGKINDNESS / SEVEN THUNDERS / SHOWSTOPPER / SUPPLICATIONS / THOU FEEDEST THEM = 174. The feeding-verb is the cap.
Lock v5 — THE BREAD OF TEARS = THE TRUE VINE = 147: The single most beautiful lock in the decode. Psa 80:5's bread-of-tears (the eucharist inverted — God's feeding through suffering) gematria-equals Jn 15:1's true-vine title (the eucharist properly named) AND a daughter's name (memory ). 147 = 3 × 7² = Jacob's lifespan = WORKMANSHIP = MASTERBUILDER. The integer that ties the Old-Testament feeding-with-tears to the New-Testament true-vine is the same integer that names a child.

Lock v18 — QUICKEN US = 120 = CHIEF MUSICIAN = SHOSHANNIM: The penultimate plea-verb sums to the integer of the superscription's title (CHIEF MUSICIAN = 120) and the instrument-name (SHOSHANNIM = 120). The plea to be quickened returns to the integer that opened the psalm. Asaph signs the closing.
Lock v18 — CALL UPON THY NAME = 180 = I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD (Jn 10:11): The psalm opens with SHEPHERD OF ISRAEL (Psa 80:1) and closes with CALL UPON THY NAME (Psa 80:18). The opening-shepherd-image and the closing-name-call sit at the Jn 10 Good-Shepherd integer (180). Psa 80 is the Good-Shepherd psalm by integer envelope.
Lock v19 — verse-sum 701 prime: The terminal verse sums to a sealed prime. Two of the three refrain verses (v3 = 569 prime, v19 = 701 prime) are prime envelopes. The middle refrain (v7 = 671 = 11 × 61) is the only composite — and its 61-factor is PSALM = PSALM 110. The two primes seal the petition.

The decode confirms the open hypothesis in psalm_decode_followups.md B1: "does every major Davidic supplication psalm carry 174 at the same verse-position (v6 or thereabouts)?" Psa 80 (not Davidic, but Asaphite) carries 174 at v5 — one verse off the conjecture. The hypothesis is now broader than Davidic — Asaphite supplication psalms also carry 174 in the early verses.
v5 is the 174 verse of Psalm 80. "Thou feedest them with the bread of tears" is the only place in scripture where God's act of feeding is at the integer of God's lovingkindness. The feeding is the cap.
