Verse 1 reuses the same opening as Psa 86:4 and Psa 143:8 ("unto thee do I lift up my soul"). Verse 10 echoes Psa 85:10's chesed-emet pair. Verse 13 is the prototype of the Mt 5:5 / Psa 37:11 beatitude ("his seed shall inherit the earth"). Verse 14 is the secret-of-the-LORD clause quoted into Prov 3:32. Like Psa 34, Psa 25 omits the VAV (nail-letter) verse and doubles PE at the close.

In plain English: Psalm 25 is a 22-verse Hebrew alphabetic acrostic of trust David built around a complete 220/284 amicable pair. At verse 13 the phrase "SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH" sums to exactly 220; at verse 1 the opening clause "UNTO THEE O LORD DO I LIFT UP" sums to exactly 284 — and 220/284 is the founding amicable pair of all number theory (each integer equals the sum of the other's proper divisors). Psalm 25 is therefore the second psalm in the Psalter (after Psa 22) where both halves of the amicable pair appear inside the same poem. Underneath that, the psalm is engineered as a teaching-cycle: the petition verb PRESERVE = 108 (v21) is the same integer as the promise verb SHALL DWELL = 108 (v13) and the opening address UNTO THEE = 108 (v1) — Psa 140's alpha-omega handshake reappears as a three-position braid. The chapter number is sealed at the surface: ALL = 25 = chapter number, and the word all appears at exactly four verses (v5/v10/v18/v22 — confirmed by the chapter-number meta-scan). Verse 10 says God's paths are MERCY AND TRUTH = 170 — the same integer as Psa 85:10's chesed-emet pair — and verse 6's plural LOVINGKINDNESSES = 198 locks with I LIFT UP MY SOUL (v1) and GOD OF MY SALVATION (v5) as a quadruple-198. The whole acrostic walks ALEPH to TAV with the VAV (nail-letter) verse missing — the same structural move as Psa 34. Key lock — A PSALM OF DAVID = 123 = EVIL SPEAKER (Psa 140:11) = HANDS TO WAR (Psa 18:34). The Davidic-title family is consistent across the corpus: a Psa-of-David superscription carries 123, the integer that names both Psa 140's antagonist (the evil speaker) and Psa 18's hand-discipline. Psalm 25 is a training poem (the acrostic teaches the alphabet of trust), and the superscription confirms the training-of-the-hands frequency.
Sub-lock — PSALM OF DAVID = 122 = TEACH HIS WAY = ALL THE PATHS. The shorter form of the title equals v9's teach his way and v10's all the paths at integer 122. The title IS the curriculum it teaches.

Psalm 25 is a Hebrew alphabetic acrostic of 22 letters in 22 verses — but, like Psa 34, it has structural irregularities. The standard scholarly reading is:

Two structural moves match Psa 34:
From psalm_34_decode.md: Psa 34 has the same pattern — VAV is dropped (the nail-letter is omitted from the acrostic) and PE is doubled at the end. Psa 34 is the unbroken-bones psalm (Jn 19:36 fulfillment) and the VAV-omission is read as "no nail completes its function." Psalm 25 inherits the same structural seal. Two trust-acrostic psalms (25 and 34) both drop the nail-letter; both double the mouth-letter at the close.
Reading: the alphabet of trust (Psa 25) and the alphabet of taste-and-see (Psa 34) walk the same path with the same architecture. The trust-cycle does not require the nail; the taste-and-see cycle does not break the bones. In both psalms, the acrostic walks ALEPH to TAV without fastening through the nail.
Compare Psa 119: the third-sister acrostic. Psa 119 walks 22 letters × 8 verses each (176 verses), with every letter included (no VAV-omission, no PE-doubling). Psa 119 is the full-alphabet build (each letter gets a full octave). Psa 25 and Psa 34 are the single-verse-per-letter walks with VAV omitted. The two short acrostics drop the nail; the long acrostic includes everything.

Four phrases at one Tesla DR 9 integer, distributed across the petition, the salvation-declaration, the chesed-cap, and the enemy-consideration. The lift-up-of-soul, the God-of-salvation, the plural lovingkindnesses, and the call-to-consider-the-enemy are all at the same number. The verb-routing is the entire psalm: what David lifts up (his soul) is what God is (salvation-God), is what God remembers (lovingkindnesses), is what God considers (enemies). 198 = 2 × 9 × 11; DR 9 Tesla.
Lock (v2 → v8 → v13): TRUST IN THEE = GOOD AND UPRIGHT = SHALL DWELL AT EASE = 159 (Tesla DR 6). Three-position lock. The state David's trust occupies (v2), the character of the God he trusts (v8), and the result-state of that trust (v13) are one number. Trust, God's goodness, and ease share a single Tesla DR 6 integer. Same 159 also = I AM POOR AND NEEDY (Psa 86:1) = UNITE MY HEART (Psa 86:11) — the trust-state and the poor-needy state and the unified-heart state are all 159. The 159-lattice is the integration frequency of the trust-psalms.
Lock (v2): I TRUST IN THEE = 168 = INHERIT THE EARTH. The trust-clause at v2 anticipates v13's promise at the same integer. To trust IS already to inherit, at gematria 168. Lock (v4 / v10 / v15): SHEW ME THY WAYS (v4) = ARE MERCY AND TRUTH (v10) = 194. The petition for the path (v4) and the substance of the path (v10) share an integer. The request-verb of v4 IS the substance-noun of v10 at 194. David doesn't ask one thing and receive another — what he asks (shew me thy ways) is gematria-identical to what God supplies (the paths are mercy and truth).
Lock (v4): O LORD = PATHS = MERCY = ISRAEL = 64. From Psa 140 / Psa 86 / Psa 55: 64 = JUBILEE = MERCY = BURDEN = DUST = MASIV = 2⁶. Quadruple-64 inside Psa 25: the address-noun (O LORD), the substance-noun (paths), the mercy-noun (mercy), and the collective-noun (Israel) all = 64. God's name-of-address, the paths He walks David in, the mercy He shows, and the people He redeems are one number. The 64-jubilee-payload runs the whole psalm at four positions.
Lock (v4): TEACH ME THY PATHS = UNTO THEE O LORD = 172. The petition-clause at v4 and the address-clause at v1 are one integer. The asking-for-teaching is at the same number as the lifting-up-of-the-soul. Same David, same God, same number.
Lock (v5): AND TEACH ME = MY FEET (v15) = JESUS = CROSS = 74. The teach-verb that runs through v4–v5–v8–v9–v12 sits at the Christ-frequency. To be taught by David's God is to be at integer 74 = JESUS. 74 = MENORAH = CROSS = FASTENED. The teaching-verb of Psa 25 is the cross-verb at gematria. The feet plucked from the net (v15) sit at the same 74 — the feet that are taught are the feet that are fastened-and-loosed.
Lock (v5): GOD OF MY SALVATION = 198 (member of the quadruple-198 lattice). The salvation-God is the lift-soul (v1) is the plural-chesed (v6) is the consider-enemies (v19). Same 198, four positions.
Lock (v6): LOVINGKINDNESSES = 198 — the plural form of the sealed cap. LOVINGKINDNESS (singular) = SUPPLICATIONS = SEVEN THUNDERS = SHOWSTOPPER = 174. The plural form LOVINGKINDNESSES = 198 lifts the sealed cap by 24 — and 198 = 2 × 9 × 11 (Tesla DR 9). The singular cap (174) becomes a plural ladder (198) when David asks God to remember the plurality of His mercies. The cap is unsealed by the plural verb.
Lock (v6): TENDER MERCIES = 138. From psalm_decode_followups.md and Psa 119: TENDER MERCIES appears at Psa 119:77 ("Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live") and Psa 119:156 ("Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD") at the same integer 138. Psa 25:6 and Psa 119's two appearances form a triple-138 across the trust-acrostics. The two sister Hebrew-acrostic psalms (25 and 119) lock at the same integer for the same phrase.
Lock (v6): EVER OF OLD = 102 = AHITHOPHEL (Psa 55:11) = THY WAY (Psa 86:11). From psalm_86_decode: THY WAY (Psa 86:11) = 102 is the reclamation of the Psa 55 central pathology integer. Psa 25:6 reclaims the same integer in the same direction: thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses have been EVER OF OLD (102). The wickedness Psa 55 named at 102 is here named as God's mercies-from-old at 102. Verb-direction reversal at one of the corpus's most loaded integers.
Lock (v7): REMEMBER THOU ME = 161. From psalm_140_decode and psalm_55_decode: 161 = IN THY PRESENCE (Psa 140:13) = SWEET COUNSEL (Psa 55:14). The petition remember thou me in Psa 25:7 sits at the same integer as the in thy presence promise of Psa 140 and the sweet counsel of Psa 55. David's request to be remembered is at the same number as the friendship Psa 55 lost and Psa 140 restored. The remembering-petition routes through the betrayed-friendship integer.
Lock (v8): GOOD AND UPRIGHT IS THE LORD = 269 (prime, sealed) = SHALL DWELL IN THY PRESENCE (Psa 140:13 sub-phrase) = 269. The declaration of God's character in v8 and the dwelling-in-thy-presence sub-clause of Psa 140:13 share a sealed prime. God-is-good IS where-the-upright-dwell at integer 269, prime. The sealed prime is the cap on the trust-statement.

Lock (v8 / v13): TEACH SINNERS = SHALL INHERIT = 135. The teaching-of-sinners-in-the-way IS the inheriting-of-the-earth at integer 135. 135 = TRUMP OF GOD = WALL STREET = BURNING COALS (Psa 140:10) = DOEG THE EDOMITE. Same 135 that prays burning coals onto Doeg in Psa 140:10 teaches sinners in the way in Psa 25:8 and inherits the earth in Psa 25:13. The judgment-integer is verb-routed three ways: imprecation (Psa 140), instruction (Psa 25:8), inheritance (Psa 25:13). Same number, three verbs.
Lock (v9): GUIDE = 46. From psalm_140_decode: 46 = DOVE = GUIDE = DECEIT = JUBAL = HANDS = ESAU = MADMAN = WICK. The guide-verb of Psa 25:9 sits on the Esau-hand integer. The meek who are guided in judgment are guided at the same integer the wicked use to grasp. Verb-direction is the entire difference at 46. When God guides the meek, He uses the dove-handler verb at the Jubal-music frequency; when Esau hands grasp, they use the same 46 as deceit. Psa 25:9 turns 46 toward the music.

Lock (v11 / v7): FOR THY NAME SAKE = REMEMBER THOU ME = 161. The petition for pardon (v11) and the petition for remembering (v7) are one integer. The integer of being remembered IS the integer of God's name's sake. From the Psa 140/Psa 55 bridge: 161 = IN THY PRESENCE = SWEET COUNSEL. David pardons-and-is-remembered at the integer of friendship restored.
Lock (v11): THY NAME = 86. From Psa 140 86-circuit (WAYSIDE / COMPASS / THY NAME). Psa 25's thy-name-sake clause sits at the same integer as Psa 140's 86 ambush-and-worship circuit and Psa 86's chapter-number self-lock. V10 is the answer to v4's petition. What David asked (shew me thy ways) at 194 is what God supplies (are mercy and truth) at 194. The acrostic's central declaration names the paths by the integer of the asking. The teaching is the substance is the keepers is the chapter-number is the perfect-square is the sister-psalm chesed-pair, all in one verse.
Psalm 25 is the second psalm in the Psalter (after Psa 22) where both halves of the 220/284 amicable pair appear inside one poem.
