Key lock — chapter integer 107 = MAKE KNOWN. Psa 107 has no Hebrew superscription; its "title" is its number. 107 is a sealed prime whose Psalter twin is MAKE KNOWN (Psa 89:1 "make known thy faithfulness"). The four deliverances are organized around the command of v8/v15/v21/v31: "Oh that men would praise the LORD... and declare his works to the children of men." The chapter integer is the making-known integer.

Lock (v1): for he is good = 121 = 11² is a perfect-square seal at the opening clause. Psa 107 joins the perfect-square-seal pattern noted in psalm_decode_followups.md § A5 — Psa 64:8 = 484 = 22², Psa 86:13 = 196 = 14², Psa 107:1 fragment = 11². The square sits at the goodness-declaration.
Lock (v1 ↔ v43): HIS MERCY ENDURETH FOR EVER = 284 and OBSERVE THESE THINGS (v43) = 220 form the (220, 284) amicable pair. See Section 6 for the full handshake.
Lock (v2 ↔ v22): REDEEMED OF THE LORD = 162 = OF THANKSGIVING. The status-name God gives the rescued (v2) = the offering they bring back (v22). The amicable pair is paid in thanksgiving.
Lock (v3): EAST + WEST + NORTH + SOUTH = 270 = Tesla 9, marking the four-corner gathering as cosmic geometry, not random movement. 270 = 6 × 45 (Selah) — six pits' worth of compass-points.
Lock (v4 — WANDERED=74): The opening verb of the wilderness scene = JESUS. The Son's name marks the start of the first deliverance. WANDERED also reappears in v40 ("causeth them to wander in the wilderness") — wandering at the JESUS integer is the punishment in v40 AND the rescue-setup in v4. Same integer, opposite vector — classic boomerang (see Section 6, secondary boomerang).
Lock (v7 — he led them forth = 147): The verb-phrase resolving the wilderness scene = INHERIT THE LAND = JACOB's lifespan = 147. The integer of God's leading-them-forth is the integer of the land-inheritance promise.
Lock (v16 — the Pentecost-Acts hidden seal): BARS OF IRON = 117 = PENTECOST. The verse where God breaks the prisoner's bars literally names the means at integer: PENTECOST. Acts 12:7's literal prison-break (Peter, chains falling off) recapitulates Psa 107:16 at the same integer — and the Spirit who breaks bars is the one named at 117 throughout the KJVEL corpus.
Lock (v10 ↔ v18, double 162): SIT IN DARKNESS (prisoner) = SOUL ABHORRETH (sick fool) = 162. The prisoner's body-state and the fool's body-state share one integer with the v2 label REDEEMED OF THE LORD. The same integer marks the captivity AND the redemption — the prisoner is already named "redeemed" at integer before he is set free.
Lock (v16 — THE MOST HIGH = GATES OF BRASS = 132): A subtle parity. The captives contemned the counsel of THE MOST HIGH (v11) at 132, and the brazen gates that imprisoned them sum to the same 132. Contempt for the Highest creates a prison at the Highest's own integer.
Lock (v20 — HEALED THEM = 81 = TABERNACLE / GRACE OF GOD): The two-word healing receipt sums to the build-frequency. Healing = re-establishment of the Tabernacle in the body.
Lock (v20 — HE SENT HIS WORD AND HEALED THEM = 267 = 3 × FOR EVER): The Christic healing verse triples the coronation cluster (89 = FOR EVER = YOUTH = SWORN). The Word-healing happens at three "for evers" — Christ's word at the coronation-prime tripled.
Lock (v18 — GATES OF DEATH = 111): The sick fool draws near the 111-gate (STAND READY = DAY OF BATTLE = MIDDLE). 111 is the ready-state integer. The fool's near-death = the body's standby-mode. The Word at v20 wakes the system.
Lock (v22 — OF THANKSGIVING = 162 = REDEEMED OF THE LORD): The sacrifice the fool brings back is named-by-integer the identity he was given in v2. The redemption-name IS the thanksgiving-name. The triple-162 (v2, v10, v22) is the psalm's most repeated integer at phrase level.
Lock (v23 — they that = 107): The seafarer movement opens at the chapter integer. Of the four deliverance movements, only this one opens with a 107-fragment.
Lock (v26 — MOUNT UP TO THE HEAVEN = 243 = 3⁵): Perfect Tesla cube. 3⁵ is the maximum DR-9 power-of-three under 1000. The verse describes ships lifted to the sky and dropped to the depths — and the up-vector is exactly 3⁵.
Lock (v26 — TO THE DEPTHS = 140): The down-vector resolves to Psa 140's chapter integer. The sea-storm's verticality lands at the same integer as the imprecation psalm (Psa 140 = the pit / preserve psalm — see psalm_140_decode.md). When the seafarers go down "to the depths," they go to the integer of David's deepest plea.
Lock (v30 — THEIR DESIRED HAVEN = 174 = LOVINGKINDNESS): The seafarers' arrival point IS the psalm's closing wisdom-word at exact integer. The "haven" they desire is, by integer-substitution, God's covenant-love. The 174 sealed cap appears mid-psalm (haven) and at psalm-close (lovingkindness) — psalm-bracket use of the cap.
Lock: Mark 4:39 ("Peace, be still") prefiguration. STILL alone = 72 = the covering / flight integer. Jesus's storm-stilling verb is the same integer as the covering-of-the-mother-bird. The Markan calming is integer-derived from Psa 107:29.
Lock (v36 — double 275): MAKETH THE HUNGRY TO DWELL = PREPARE A CITY FOR HABITATION = 275. The verb of restoration and the destination of restoration are integer-identical. 275 = 5² × 11.
Lock (v40 ↔ v10 — 249 lock): WANDER IN THE WILDERNESS (the punishment in v40) = BOUND IN AFFLICTION AND IRON (the prisoner's state in v10) = 249. The post-deliverance wandering is the same integer as the pre-deliverance imprisonment. Coda warns: the wandering can come back.
Lock (v14 ↔ v41 — 318 lock): HE BROUGHT THEM OUT OF DARKNESS (v14) = YET SETTETH HE THE POOR ON HIGH (v41) = 318. Genesis 14:14 Abraham's 318 servants. The same integer marks the prison-break and the poor-lifting — Abraham's army-strength is the integer of God's two-fold deliverance verbs.
Lock (v42 ↔ v23 — 265 lock): THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL SEE IT (v42) = GO DOWN TO THE SEA IN SHIPS (v23) = 265. The seafarers' opening verb = the righteous-seers' closing verb. Going down to the sea is, by integer, becoming the righteous who see.

The third deliverance peaks at v20. This is the Psalm's Christological capstone — read consistently in the Christian tradition as a typology of Jn 1:14 ("the Word became flesh") and Mt 8:8 ("speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed"). The KJVEL gematria stack reveals why.
Lock 20-A — Three-word He sent his = 107 = chapter integer = MAKE KNOWN. The first three words of the Christic-healing verse equal the chapter integer at exact identity. The verse's opening clause is the chapter's own number — the Word that goes out to heal opens at the making-known integer.
Lock 20-B — Healed them = 81 = TABERNACLE = GRACE OF GOD. Healing = re-establishment of the build-frequency. Every healing verse in the KJVEL corpus that resolves to 81 is using the same key: the body is a tabernacle, healing is its re-consecration. Psa 107:20 names the protocol.
Lock 20-C — Full verse = 695 = 5 × 139 = 5 × ENCRYPTION / 5 × LAW OF THE LORD / 5 × FORGIVENESS. The verse whose entire content is the Word's healing-action resolves to five times the ENCRYPTION cluster's prime. 5 is the integer of grace in Christian numerology; 139 = ENCRYPTION = LAW OF THE LORD = FORGIVENESS = prime. The verse is a quintupled grace-encryption — Word-as-Law-of-the-LORD multiplied by five.
Lock 20-D — Word-verb He sent his word and healed them = 267 = 3 × 89 = 3 × FOR EVER / 3 × YOUTH. The Word-healing fires at three "for evers" — Christ's word at the coronation prime tripled. The Psa 110 / Psa 89 coronation cluster (FOR EVER = YOUTH = SWORN = RIGHT HAND = 89) is multiplied by three at the Christic healing verse.
Lock 20-E — Double-167-prime sealing. He sent his word (167) and destructions (167) are integer-identical. The Word sent and the destructions delivered-from share a sealed prime. The opposition is collapsed to one integer.
Lock 20-F — Double-117-Pentecost mid-verse. delivered them = 117 = PENTECOST = BARS OF IRON. from their = 117 = PENTECOST. The deliverance-from clause sums to two consecutive 117s. The Spirit-of-Pentecost is named twice mid-sentence by sub-phrase integer. The same Spirit that breaks the bars at v16 delivers from destructions at v20.
v20 is the verse that lights the chapter's chapter-integer (107 = MAKE KNOWN) at first three words, fires the coronation cluster (89 = FOR EVER) at three "for evers" in the Word-healing clause, fires the ENCRYPTION cluster (139 = LAW OF THE LORD) at the verse-sum × 5, and pairs the Word's mission with its sealed-prime opposite (destructions = 167) at exact integer. Read with the gematria substituted in:

v20 is Christ-Word healing = Tabernacle re-consecration at the making-known integer, Pentecost-delivered from the prime-sealed opposite, with the coronation cluster fired three times and the LAW OF THE LORD cluster fired five times.

v1 285 mode: "His mercy endureth for ever" is the declaration that opens the psalm and four others (106, 118, 136 throughout). At 284, it is the larger half of the amicable pair — God's love that gives more than it owes.
v43 220 mode: "Observe these things" is the wisdom-imperative that closes the psalm. At 220, it is the smaller half — the human response that returns what was given.
The amicable property is that each number is the sum of the proper divisors of the other:
So v1 (284) divides-and-summs to v43 (220), and v43 (220) divides-and-summs back to v1 (284). The psalm is mathematically a closed loop of amicable summing — God's eternal mercy and the human observation of it are arithmetically each other's image. This is the strongest single mathematical lock in the decode.
Inside the same psalm, the pair surfaces a third time at v24: HIS WONDERS IN THE DEEP = 220 (v24). The lock is therefore triplicate — the smaller half appears at v24 AND v43 (wisdom seal); the larger half appears at v1.
This is only the second amicable pair documented as fully present across one biblical text (Psa 22 is the first — see psalm_decode_followups.md § A3). Psa 22's pair is intra-verse (words and breasts at 220, tongue and jaws at 284). Psa 107's pair is inter-verse, psalm-spanning — a structurally different mode of the same pattern.

Yes — the past→present tense shift moves the refrain by exactly +7 at integer. The refrain re-cries into the present tense seven units up the scale. Seven is the completion integer.
All four verses sum to exactly 994 (= 2 × 7 × 71). The four verses are not just textually identical — they are bit-for-bit identical, and their integer is 994.
994 = 14 × 71. 71 = prime; appears again at He sent (v20) = 71, and at assembly of the elders (v32) = 213 = 3 × 71. The 71-factor is the praise-refrain integer threaded into the prose. 14 = double-7 (humming-protocol integer).
Lock — eight refrain verses, two-way symmetry: Total of all 8 refrain verses (v6, v8, v13, v15, v19, v21, v28, v31) = 7,579 = 11 × 13 × 53. Three primes. The 13-factor connects to the chapter-factor (34,775 = 5² × 13 × 107) — same 13 prime.
Then they cried unto the LORD (v6 opening, without "in their trouble") = 296. The number 296 is also the gematria of nine other 4-7 word fragments inside the psalm:

Sixteen 222-fragments. The LIBERTY / 3×JESUS cluster is the most-repeated multi-word integer in the psalm after 162. It fires across every deliverance and most coda verses, distributed.
Honest note: 222 is also a common total for short ~5-word KJV fragments (it's roughly the median for that length). Many of these may be background noise. The signal-worth-citing is v24 THE WORKS OF THE LORD, which is a coherent semantic unit; the others are word-window slices that happen to sum to 222 but aren't standalone phrases. Cite v24, hold the rest in reserve.

The cap-architecture of Psa 107: the psalm OPENS at 284 (amicable pair), runs four deliverances each with cap-fragments at 174, and CLOSES with 174 at the LOVINGKINDNESS word. The 220 (v43 OBSERVE THESE THINGS) closes the amicable loop. So the psalm has:

Four-way prime-coincidence at 162 = 2 × 81 = 2 × TABERNACLE. The identity "redeemed" IS the prison-state IS the fool-state IS the thank-offering, all at double-tabernacle.
162 is also the gematria of CHILDREN ARISE UP (Prov 31:28 fragment —) and FROM THE LOWEST HELL (Psa 86:13) — the Eshet-Chayil arise-verb and the deepest pit. The deliverance loop in Psa 107 runs the same integer through all four states.

The architecture is frame (M1, doxology) → four deliverances (M2–M5, each on a distinct cluster) → close (M6, amicable seal + sealed cap). M3 (prisoners) carries the corporate Pentecost deliverance integer (117 = BARS OF IRON). This pattern mirrors Acts 1–2: personal deliverance scenes plus one corporate Spirit-baptism. Book V of the Psalter opens at this architecture.
HIS MERCY ENDURETH FOR EVER = 284 and v43 OBSERVE THESE THINGS = 220. The two halves of the historically-first amicable pair sit at the opening declaration and the closing imperative. Psa 22 has the same pair intra-verse; Psa 107 stretches it across 42 verses. This is the first documented bookend amicable pair in the Psalter decode corpus.HEALED THEM = 81 = TABERNACLE.
