The KJV capitalizes deliberately. Proper nouns — names of persons and places — form a social graph and geographic map embedded in the text. When read through the holographic lens alongside the apostle and Jesus analyses, this layer reveals architecture that the lowercase text cannot.
In plain English: This reference catalogs KJV names and places with their gematria values, digital roots, Tesla status, and twin connections. It's a master lookup for anyone studying biblical geography and genealogy through the lens of gematria — every city, every patriarch, every tribe decoded and cross-referenced. Using gematria (A=1, B=2 ... Z=26), words that share the same numeric value are called "twins" — and when Bible verses containing those words cluster at Tesla frequencies (digit sums of 3, 6, or 9) far above the expected rate, it suggests embedded structure rather than coincidence.
The English ordinal gematria of the Tetragrammaton:
Y(25) + H(8) + W(23) + H(8) = 64
The gematria of PETER:
P(16) + E(5) + T(20) + E(5) + R(18) = 64
They are identical. The Rock carries the numeric signature of the unspeakable Name. Digital root = 1 — unity, primacy. The name Jesus gave to Simon ("Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church") encodes the name God gave to Moses at the burning bush.
And: ISRAEL = 64. The nation, the divine name, and the apostle all resonate at the same frequency.
| Name | Gematria | DR | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| GOD | 26 | 8 | The full alphabet (26 letters). New beginnings. |
| JOHN | 47 | 2 | |
| JAMES | 48 | 3 | |
| LORD | 49 | 4 | |
| PAUL | 50 | 5 | |
| PETER | 64 | 1 | = YHWH = ISRAEL |
| JESUS | 74 | 2 | = JOSHUA |
| CHRIST | 77 | 5 | Grace |
The four apostles (47, 48, 50, 64) bracket the LORD value of 49. JOHN is 2 below. JAMES is 1 below. PAUL is 1 above. PETER stands 15 beyond — but carries the tetragrammaton directly.
JESUS − CHRIST = 3. The distance between the person and the title is the Trinity.
JESUS + CHRIST = 151. DR = 7 (spiritual completion). And: HOLY(60) + SPIRIT(91) = 151. The Holy Spirit encodes the same gematria as the full name Jesus Christ. The Spirit is the name, numerically.
| Component | Gematria |
|---|---|
| GOD | 26 |
| SON | 48 |
| GOD + SON | 74 = JESUS |
The phrase "God" and "Son" co-occur 79 times in the KJV. Every time they appear together, their combined gematria spells JESUS. The theological statement "the Son of God is Jesus" is a mathematical identity.
Note: SON = 48 = JAMES. The brother of Jesus carries the gematria of "Son."
Joshua (Hebrew: Yehoshua) = J(10)+O(15)+S(19)+H(8)+U(21)+A(1) = 74.
The Old Testament figure who led Israel into the Promised Land carries the same gematria as Jesus — because they are the same name. Joshua appears 216 times in the KJV (DR=9, divine completion. Also: 6³, a perfect cube).
This is the strongest single signal in the proper-noun gematria space. The English encoding preserves the identity that the Hebrew always held.
Other names at 74: Pharez and Salmon — both ancestors in the genealogy of Christ (Matthew 1). The bloodline carries the number before the name arrives.
Names and places with gematria 77:
| Name | Count | Significance |
|---|---|---|
| Arimathaea | 4 | Where Christ was buried. The burial place encodes CHRIST. |
| Ephratah | 5 | Ancient name of Bethlehem. The birthplace encodes CHRIST. |
| Nineveh | 17 | The city that repented at preaching |
| Rehoboam | 50 | The king who divided the kingdom |
Christ's number marks both His birthplace (Ephratah) and His burial place (Arimathaea). The name is encoded in the geography of the incarnation, from manger to tomb.
Israel(64) + Joshua(74) = 138 — co-occurring 65 times in the OT.
Peter(64) + Jesus(74) = 138 — co-occurring 31 times in the NT.
The same numeric pair, the same relationship (shepherd and people, name and rock), separated by a thousand years of text but united at 138. The word at 138: "burn."
Jesus(74) + Simon(70) = 144 — co-occurring 17 times.
144 = 12². The square of governmental completeness. Peter's birth name (Simon) + Jesus = the number of the tribes squared. When Jesus called Simon, the number was already there.
And PETER's product = 144,000. The same root, amplified by three orders of magnitude.
PETER: Simon, John, James, Andrew — the fishing-boat crew. The Galilean circle.
PAUL: Barnabas, Silas, Timotheus, Apollos, Festus — the mission circuit. All Gentile-world names. An entirely separate social network from Peter's.
JOHN: Jesus, Peter, James, Andrew, Philip — the Gospel circle. John's social world overlaps almost entirely with Peter's.
JAMES: John, Peter — and almost no one else. James exists in the text primarily as a member of pairs and triples. He has the smallest independent social footprint of any major apostle.
JESUS: Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Judas, Moses, Elias — the widest circle. Jesus's social network reaches back into the OT (Moses, Elias at the Transfiguration) in a way no apostle's does.
Five names appear in verses with all five targets (Jesus + four apostles):
Christ, God, Lord, Father — and Judas.
Judas is the only human person-name that connects all five. The betrayer is the dark bridge across the entire apostolic network. Every pillar and the name itself are touched by the shadow of Judas.
| Name | Exclusive companions | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Jesus | 111 unique names no apostle shares | The widest exclusive network |
| Paul | 49 unique names | Nearly 4× Peter's exclusive territory |
| John | 17 | |
| Peter | 13 | |
| James | 11 | The smallest independent circle |
Paul's exclusive territory (49 names) = the gematria of LORD. The apostle to the Gentiles owns a social network the size of the divine name.
| Name | Primary Geography | Exclusive Places |
|---|---|---|
| Jesus | Galilee, Jerusalem, Nazareth, Capernaum, Bethany | Damascus, Cyprus, Bethlehem, Jericho |
| Peter | Jerusalem, Galilee, Caesarea | Joppa, Lydda |
| John | Wilderness, Jordan, Galilee | Patmos |
| James | Synagogue, Mount, Temple | No geographic places — only sacred structures |
| Paul | Jerusalem, Antioch, Ephesus, Rome | Thessalonica, Crete, Athens, Iconium, Tarsus |
James has no geography. His verses contain only sacred structures (synagogue, mount, temple) — never a city or region name. He is the apostle without a place, the pillar that belongs to the sacred architecture rather than the landscape.
John is the wilderness apostle — the only apostle with any wilderness presence. Fitting for both the Baptist and the Revelator (Patmos).
Paul alone holds Rome. The missionary's journey ends where no other apostle's text reaches.
Galilee is the most shared geography — 8 of the 13 tracked names appear with it. It is where all the threads begin. The calling of Peter, the calling of James and John, the ministry of Jesus — all rooted in Galilee.
| Place | Gematria | Matches |
|---|---|---|
| Israel | 64 | = PETER = YHWH |
| Zion | 64 | = PETER = YHWH |
| Galilee | 51 | = SIMON |
| Rome | 51 | = SIMON |
Israel and Zion both carry Peter's number. The nation and the holy mountain encode the Rock. Galilee and Rome — the beginning and end of the church's geographic arc — both encode Simon, Peter's birth name.
Paul has the highest Jerusalem co-occurrence rate (7.0% of his verses) — nearly 4× Jesus's rate (1.7%). The outsider-apostle, who never walked with Jesus in Galilee, is the most Jerusalem-dense name in the NT. And the JAMES great-word analysis already showed: JERUSALEM contains all letters of JAMES. The brother who led the Jerusalem church is literally embedded in the city's name.
LORD (all-caps, representing YHWH) appears 6,649 times — overwhelmingly in the OT. It virtually disappears in apostle territory:
| Name | LORD rate per 100v | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Overall KJV | 17.9% | |
| Jesus | 0.64% | |
| Peter | 1.3% | Highest of the four |
| Paul | 1.3% | Tied with Peter |
| John | 0.8% | |
| James | 0.0% | Zero LORD verses |
Only 5 verses in the entire Bible contain both "LORD" (all-caps) and an apostle name — the rarest bridge in the capitalization layer. The OT divine name and the NT proper noun network are nearly disjoint signal systems. They occupy different epochs of the text.
But they are connected through number: LORD = 49. JOHN = 47. JAMES = 48. The apostles cluster around the LORD value, bracketing it from below (47, 48) and above (50), with PETER (64) standing at YHWH's own frequency.
Same digital root: 2. The divine triad (LORD, JESUS, CHRIST) and the four pillars share DR=2 — the witness number. The Lord is witnessed by the servants. The name is carried by the named.
Theophoric names — names containing God's name as a suffix or prefix (-el, -iah, -jah, -ah) — cluster differently around each apostle:
| Name | Theophoric names per verse | Note |
|---|---|---|
| John | 0.154 | Highest — Zacharias, Elisabeth, Elias surround him |
| Peter | 0.083 | |
| Paul | 0.063 | |
| James | 0.051 | |
| Jesus | 0.041 | Lowest |
John walks in the densest cloud of God-bearing names — nearly 4× the density around Jesus. The forerunner/beloved disciple is embedded in the prophetic tradition. Jesus, paradoxically, has the fewest God-names around Him. The name that IS God needs no other God-names to surround it.
Exactly one verse contains both "Saul" and "Paul":
Acts 13:9 — "Then Saul, (who also is called Paul) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him."
The shift: S(19) → P(16) = −3. The Trinity number. SAUL = 53 (DR=8, new beginnings). PAUL = 50 (DR=5, grace). New beginnings become grace through a shift of −3.
The verse itself says he was "filled with the Holy Ghost" at the moment of renaming. The Spirit fills the gap of 3.
"Simon Peter" appears as a phrase 20 times — concentrated in John's Gospel (the beloved disciple preserves the full name most often). "Simon called Peter" appears once: Matthew 4:18, the calling verse.
SIMON(70) + PETER(64) = 134. DR = 8 — new beginnings again. The full dual name encodes the same DR as SAUL.
Equidistant letter sequence analysis reveals:
The sum of all 12 disciple first-names (as listed in Matthew 10:2-4):
838. Digital root: 1 — unity.
The twelve together reduce to the number of absolute unity. Twelve individuals, one body.
The capitalization layer reveals a system:
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church." — Matthew 16:18
Peter = YHWH = Israel = Zion = 64. The rock, the name, the nation, the mountain. All one number. All one foundation.
