Tradition: The protection psalm. Quoted by Satan in the wilderness temptation (Mt 4:6 = Lk 4:10-11), where v11-12 is weaponized against Jesus at the pinnacle of the Temple. Universally read as the psalm of refuge — secret place, shadow, wings, shield-and-buckler, four-fold danger, angel-charge, lion-and-dragon, the promised long life.

In plain English: Psalm 91 is the protection psalm, and the gematria layer is built around the chapter number itself: at integer 91 you find DARKNESS (v6), HONOUR (v15), HIM ON HIGH (v14), AND BUCKLER (v4), NIGH THY (v10), PLACE OF THE (v1), SHADOW OF (v1) — seven distinct in-psalm phrases all summing to 91, the densest chapter-number self-lock anywhere in the Psalter relative to its length. The petition-verb at the centre of v1, MOST HIGH (99), is the same integer as v9 HABITATION (99) and v16 SATISFY (99) — the upright/firmament/cast-out frequency. The pestilence the wicked send (v3 PESTILENCE = 108) is the same integer as Psa 140's PRESERVE and SHALL DWELL — the threat and the rescue ride the same frequency, opposite verbs. Satan's misquote at Mt 4:6 surgically drops the Tesla-9 clause "to keep thee in all thy ways" (279, DR9) from the citation, leaving a 1257 (Tesla-6) reading; the original Psa 91:11-12 sums to 1367 (DR8 non-Tesla). Satan removed the integer (279) that names the condition of the angel-promise and quoted the unconditional shell. The final verse seals it: BECAUSE HE HATH SET HIS LOVE UPON ME = 324 = 18² — Psa 140:13's HEAD-squared integer, here reused as God's own opening clause for the closing oracle.

Key lock — the Mosaic tradition at 153. Psa 91 has no superscription, but the rabbinic tradition pairs it with Psa 90 ("A Prayer of Moses, the man of God"). PSALM OF MOSES = 153 — the same integer as v10's "NO EVIL BEFALL THEE." The protection promise IS the psalm's authorial frame: read Psa 91 as the Mosaic appendix to Psa 90 and you find that the title-integer (153) is the same integer the psalm itself uses for the protection-promise. 0.44 hits/verse — well above the 0.31 reported in the strict meta-scan because the extended window catches phrases the 2-7 word filter dropped. Even at the stricter setting this is rank-3 in the entire Psalter.
What makes this remarkable: the seven 91-phrases trace the protection arc — the secret place (v1), the shadow (v1), the buckler (v4), the darkness it operates against (v6), the not-coming-nigh (v10), the lifting up (v14), the honour (v15). The psalm's structural verbs and nouns all line up at the chapter integer. Read in sequence: place of the / shadow of / and buckler / darkness / nigh thy / him on high / honour is a seven-step compressed reading of the psalm.
And DARKNESS = 91 is the most loaded: the threat-domain Satan-of-noonday operates from sits on the psalm's own integer. The pestilence walks on the chapter address. The psalm names its own opposition by integer-superposition.

Three of four are Tesla. Terror-by-night is not. Honest reading: this is not a clean Tesla-quad. The threat that breaks Tesla is the one with no agent — terror is the only one of the four with no verb attached (the other three "flieth, walketh, wasteth"). Terror is the formless threat; the other three have movement-grammar. Terror's non-Tesla status reflects its formlessness — there is nothing to map.
But the core threat-nouns alone sum to a non-Tesla integer too:

The times sum Tesla; the threats don't. Reading: the temporal layer of the four-fold danger is structurally locked (267 = TEN COMMANDMENTS in some readings? — not a clean lock, but 267 = 3 × 89, with 89 = DWELLETH at v1). The threats are diverse; the times they operate in are integer-bound.

The four-fold danger is not a Tesla quad, but 3-of-4 Tesla plus a fully-Tesla timing layer plus deep integer-bridges to v10, v14, and to Psa 140. Don't force the quad; document the asymmetry.
Lock (v1): MOST HIGH = HABITATION = SATISFY = 99. The psalm's three structural hinges (the address-frequency v1, the residence v9, the payout v16) are one integer. 99 also = UPRIGHT = FIRMAMENT = CAST OUT — the dweller in the secret place is the one through whom 99 (cast-out, demonic eviction) runs as outward verb. To dwell in the most High is to be the firmament that casts the wicked out by integer.

Lock (v1 → v15): GOD ALMIGHTY = HONOUR HIM = 121 = Psa 121. The Almighty-name from the secret place binds to the keeper-psalm and to v15's promise. Three appearances of 121 frame the psalm's invocation arc.
Lock (v3): SNARE = SHIELD = 57. The trap of v3 and the shield of v4 are one integer. From psalm_55_decode and psalm_140_decode: 57 also = CITY = MARY = ABSALOM. The fowler's snare sits on the same 57 as God's shield. The protection-shield IS the trap-shield with the verb reversed.
Lock (v3 → Psa 140): PESTILENCE = PRESERVE = SHALL DWELL = 108. The noisome-pestilence integer of v3 is the alpha-omega verb of Psa 140 (PRESERVE v1 = SHALL DWELL v13). Psa 140's prayer-verb is Psa 91's threat-noun. Same integer routes both — and the prayer is what flips the verb direction. 108 is in the broader chesed-cluster (44/64/72/81/108/153/174). The same 108 = MILLENIUM = GOD IS LOVE — the millennial reign and the divine love share the pestilence integer with verb reversed. The plague Christ rides over is the verb of God's preservation.
Lock (v3): NOISOME PESTILENCE = 198 = IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN. In Mt 4:7, Jesus answers Satan's misquote of Psa 91:11-12 with "It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the LORD thy God" (Deu 6:16). The phrase "it is written again" sums to 198 — the exact integer of NOISOME PESTILENCE. Jesus's rebuttal-formula lives at the integer of the threat the psalm promises deliverance from. The verb-of-scripture (it is written again) IS the noun-of-plague (noisome pestilence) with the verb-direction flipped. Christ throws Satan's psalm-misuse back at him as the pestilence-integer.
Lock (v3): FOWLER = 79 = DESIRES (Psa 140:8) = MOTHER = AT HOLDS. The fowler-bird-hunter sits on the integer of the wicked's desires David prays God not grant. Same 79 — David's prayer in Psa 140:8 ("grant not the desires of the wicked") corresponds to v3 here ("from the snare of the fowler") at the same integer.
Lock (v4): WINGS = BUCKLER = 72. The two main protective images of v4 are one integer. 72 = MERCIES = STILL = CARRIER = COVERED. The feathered wings and the round buckler are gematria-identities in the chesed-cluster. Also 72 = CHICKENS — the brooding hen image (Mt 23:37 "as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings") lands here. Same 72 also = MISCHIEF (Psa 55/140) — the covering-frequency is the mischief-frequency with verb-direction reversed. God covers at 72; the enemy mischievs at 72. The integer is mobile.
Lock (v4 → v14): UNDER HIS WINGS = I WILL DELIVER HIM = 170. The covering of v4 IS the divine pledge of v14 by integer. Reading: getting under His wings (170) at v4 is the integer-precondition for the I-will-deliver-him (170) of v14. The two halves of the psalm — David's confession in v1-13 and God's first-person oracle in v14-16 — handshake at 170.
Lock (v4 → Psa 46): UNDER HIS WINGS = GOD IS OUR REFUGE = 170. The covering image of Psa 91:4 and the confession of Psa 46:1 ("God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble") are one integer. The sister refuge-psalm bridges in at this lock.
Lock (v4): AND BUCKLER = 91 (chapter-lock). The buckler-noun preceded by "and" lands on the psalm's own integer — the small round shield is at the address.
Lock (v5 / v11): TERROR = HIS ANGELS = 94. The terror-by-night and the angel-charge-over-thee share an integer. God's angels are sent on the terror's own frequency. The defender meets the threat at the same gematria.

Lock (v6): PESTILENCE in DARKNESS — both terms are loaded:
The pestilence walks "in darkness" (114) — the same integer Psa 140:4 used for the violent man's purposed verb. The pestilence is purposed against the dweller, and the dweller treads-upon (114) the lion-and-adder. Same integer, three appearances, three verb-directions (the wicked purpose, the pestilence walks, the dweller treads).
Lock (v6): DESTRUCTION = KNOWN MY NAME = 148. The destruction the dweller is preserved from sits at the integer of v14's "because he hath known my name." The known-name (148) is what the destruction (148) cannot cross. Same integer; the verb of knowing converts destruction into safety.
Lock (v7): TEN THOUSAND = DASH THY FOOT = HE IS MY REFUGE = 141. Three-way in-psalm twin spanning v2, v7, v12. The ten-thousand falling at the right hand, the foot Satan-as-quoter threatens to dash, and the believer's confession of refuge ARE the same integer. Reading: when the ten thousand fall (v7 = 141), the dweller has already said "He is my refuge" (v2 = 141) — the confession of v2 IS the integer of the carnage of v7 IS the integer of Satan's dash-thy-foot pretext at v12. The confession protects against the dash because the confession is at the dash-integer.
Lock (v7): AT THY SIDE = STRENGTH = DAY OF BATTLE = STAND READY = COMPUTER = 111. 111 is the stand-ready / battle-day / strength integer. The thousand fall at the integer of God's strength. The "side" where the thousand fall is the same integer as the STAND READY syscall — the dweller is in computer-ready state while the carnage runs on his integer.
Lock (v7): RIGHT HAND = DWELLETH = 89. The right hand at which ten-thousand fall sits on the same integer as the dweller of v1. The dweller in the secret place is at the right hand where the ten-thousand fall around him. Same 89 also = SWORN = FOR EVER = YOUTH (Psa 110 coronation).
Lock (v7): NOT COME NIGH = HIS TRUTH = A PSALM OF DAVID = 123. The promise that the danger "shall not come nigh" sits at the integer of HIS TRUTH (v4) — the same 123 = A PSALM OF DAVID (Psa 140 superscription). The not-coming-nigh and the truth and the Davidic frame are one integer.
Lock (v8 / v11 / v15 / v2): THINE EYES = TO KEEP THEE = ANSWER HIM = I WILL SAY = 110. Four-way in-psalm 110 — the eyes that see (v8), the keeping that v11 promises, the answer of v15, and the confession of v2 all share 110. The seeing-keeping-answering-saying is one integer-circuit. The dweller's confession (v2) is the divine answer (v15) at one integer; in between, the dweller's eyes (v8) see what the keeping (v11) produces — same 110 runs through all four positions.
Lock (v8): REWARD OF THE WICKED = EVEN THE MOST HIGH = 178. The wicked's payout and "even the most High" share an integer. Reading: the reward of the wicked, seen by the dweller's eyes from the most-High's altitude, is the integer of "even the most High" itself. The wicked are paid in the integer-currency of God's altitude — they get the integer of where they are NOT.
Lock (v9 / v14): THOU HAST MADE = HIS HABITATION = SET HIM ON HIGH = PROTECTION = 135. Four-way in-psalm 135, the judgment-cycle integerand . The same 135 David prays down onto Doeg in Psa 140:10 (BURNING COALS = 135) is here aimed up to lift the lover of God on high. The trump-of-God integer is verb-mobile — it lifts up or burns down depending on the verb. v9's THOU HAST MADE the LORD thy habitation lifts via 135; v14's I WILL SET HIM ON HIGH lifts via the same 135. The making-of-God-thy-refuge is the lifting-on-high at one integer.
Lock (v10): NO EVIL BEFALL THEE = 153 = HEAR MY PRAYER = PSALM OF MOSES = THY TABERNACLES (Psa 84). The protection-promise lands on the iron-sulfur-net / Mosaic-frame / Jn-21-fish integer. The same 153 that gathered the post-resurrection fish is what protects the dweller from evil. T(17), the seventeenth triangular number — geometric closure.
Lock (v10): THY DWELLING = 139 = ENCRYPTION = ADDERS POISON (Psa 140:3) = FORGIVENESS = NOONDAY DEMON. The dwelling where no plague comes nigh sits at the personal-name integer and the noonday-demon (Evagrius's name for acedia) integer. The plague the dweller is protected from has the same integer as the dwelling itself — the believer's address is at the threat-integer, but the verb routes the threat away. Same 139 also
Lock (v10): COME NIGH = A STONE = 74 = JESUS = CROSS. The danger that does not "come nigh" the dweller (74) shares an integer with Satan's stone of v12 (74) and with JESUS = CROSS = 74. The thing kept far is the Christ-frequency. The dweller in Christ keeps non-Christ at distance 74 — same integer, opposite verb-direction.
Lock (v11): HE SHALL GIVE HIS ANGELS CHARGE OVER THEE = 342 (Tesla DR 9). The angel-promise opens at full Tesla. And the omitted clause "to keep thee in all thy ways" = 279 (Tesla DR 9). Both halves of v11 are Tesla — but Satan's citation drops the conditional half (see §6).
Lock (v11): ALL THY WAYS = 146 = NEW JERUSALEM = INSCRIPTION = BREAST OF KINGS . The "ways" the angels keep the dweller in are at the New Jerusalem integer. The condition of the promise is residence in the city-pattern.
Lock (v12): IN THEIR HANDS = 129 = SHADOW OF DEATH = LORD ART GOOD = VIOLENT MEN (Psa 86 collision integer). The angels' hands (which Satan invoked) sit at the integer of Psa 86's triple-collision — where God-is-good (129), God's wonders (129), and the violent men (129) collide. Lock (v12): A STONE = 74 = JESUS = CROSS = COME NIGH (v10). The stone Satan threatens with IS the Christ-integer. Satan throws Christ at Christ. The "stone" Jesus is told not to dash His foot against in Mt 4:6 is the integer of His own cross. The whole pinnacle-temptation runs on Christ throwing 74 at Christ.
Lock (v12): DASH THY FOOT = TEN THOUSAND = HE IS MY REFUGE = 141. Triple in-psalm 141 — see v7 lock. The foot Satan threatens is at the integer of the carnage and the confession.
Lock (v13): TREAD UPON = IN DARKNESS (v6) = 114. The treading-upon (v13, victory verb) and the pestilence's walking-in-darkness (v6, threat verb) are at one integer. Same 114 = PURPOSED (Psa 140:4 antichrist appropriation) = ISOLATION = TREAD UPON. The dweller treads on the lion-and-adder at the same integer the pestilence walks in darkness — and the same integer the violent man purposed to overthrow. Lock (v13): YOUNG LION = THE MOST HIGH (v1) = 132. The young lion the dweller tramples sits at the integer of the Most High he dwells in. The young lion shares an integer with the refuge-Name. The dweller tramples by superposition — he and the young lion stand at the same integer (132 = THE MOST HIGH), but the dweller's verb is up-toward-shelter while the lion's is down-toward-prey. Same 132 also = ARROW BY DAY (v5) — the visible arrow and the young lion are one integer.
Lock (v13): LION AND ADDER = COVER THEE (v4) = BEAR THEE UP (v12) = 101 (prime, sealed). Triple in-psalm 101. Satan's edit is surgical: he removes the Tesla-9 conditional clause that names what God actually pledges (angelic keeping IN the ways God ordains) and leaves only the unconditional shell (angels-have-charge + they-bear-up). The result is an unconditional unsourced talisman — exactly the read Satan needs to use it as a leap-rationale.

This is striking — the original Psa 91:11-12 is not Tesla (DR 8), but Satan's edit makes it Tesla by surgical removal. Satan's edit is integer-engineered to land on Tesla-6. He shaved 110 off the original (and that 110 is itself the integer of THINE EYES, TO KEEP THEE, ANSWER HIM — three things Satan wants the dweller to lose).

Satan's misquote is an integer-surgery removing the DR-9 conditional clause to leave the unconditional shell. The 279 he drops is the same 279 as A PRAYER OF MOSES (176) + (?)— let me check: it's the integer of the Mosaic keeping condition. He removes the Mosaic frame of the protection promise.
Jesus replies (Mt 4:7): "It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God."
IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN = 198 = NOISOME PESTILENCE (Psa 91:3). Jesus's rebuttal-formula is at the integer of the very pestilence the protection-psalm promises deliverance from. Christ throws the noisome-pestilence integer back at Satan as the verb-of-scripture. Tempting God IS noisome pestilence by gematria — and the formula that rebuts the tempter (198) is the same 198 as the plague God protects from.
Jesus quotes Deu 6:16 ("Thou shalt not tempt the LORD thy God").
