Psa 89 is structurally about a covenant figure whose days are cut short. The Davidic-covenant promise of v3–4 collides with the lament of v38–45 — God has cast off, the throne's days are shortened, the youth's life is shortened. The decode's central architecture is:

(Correction: a previously claimed lock — "the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD" = 380 = the v52 verse sum — does not hold; the clause computes to 442 in full, or 378 for THE HEAVENS SHALL PRAISE THY WONDERS alone (see bullet above), neither of which equals v52's 380. No verified integer link between v5 and v52 exists.)
Lock (v10): BROKEN RAHAB IN PIECES (v10) = MERCIES OF THE LORD (v1) = 175. The chaos-monster being broken and the mercies-of-the-LORD declared to be sung-of-for-ever share an integer. Same gematria, two postures: the destruction of Rahab IS the substance of mercy.
Lock (v13): THY STRONG ARM (v10) = 178 = 2 × 89 = 2 × FOR EVER / 2 × YOUTH — the Psa 110 coronation cluster doubled. The strong-arm-of-God lands at twice the chapter-prime / for-ever integer. (Correction: v13's "high is thy right hand" was previously claimed at 220, but computes to 202 — matching HIGH IS THY RIGHT HAND = 202 in the table above, not the amicable-pair integer; no 220 preview exists at v13.)
Lock (v15): JOYFUL (single word) = 89 = chapter integer = SWORN = YOUTH = FOR EVER. The joy-word of the psalm names the chapter integer. Same 89 appears as a single word at v3 (SWORN), v15 (JOYFUL), and v45 (YOUTH) — three separate single-word 89s at the start, middle, and pivot of the psalm. No other psalm has three independent single-word chapter-integer hits at this density.
Lock (v15): JOYFUL SOUND = 162 = MOUNT OF GOMER. 162 is the redemption-of-the-unfaithful integer, the geography-is-gematria-faithful lock (Hos 1:10 "children arise up" = 162). The joyful-sound of v15 is the integer of the redemption-of-the-cast-off. Even within the covenant-section, the lament is encoded — v15 joy holds the integer of Hosea's redemption, foreshadowing the v38 cast-off lament that will need exactly this kind of redemption.
Lock (v20): I HAVE FOUND DAVID (v20) = I HAVE FOUND DAVID MY SERVANT (v20) = 282 = WROTH WITH THINE ANOINTED (v38). The finding-and-anointing of David (v20) and the wrath-against-the-anointed (v38) share an integer (282 for the full clauses). Two opposite vectors at one integer — anointing-and-rejection on the same number. This is the structural keel of the psalm: v20 finds, v38 rejects, both at 282.
Lock (v20): HOLY OIL = OUR DEFENCE (v18) = MY FATHER (v26) = 96. The anointing-substance, the corporate-defence-noun, and the address-of-God-as-father all share an integer. The oil that anoints is the defence is the father — three roles of the same 96-integer.
Lock (v25): IN THE RIVERS (v25) = 147 = INHERIT THE LAND = JACOB's lifespan. The river-clause is at the inheritance-promise integer.
Lock (v27): I WILL MAKE HIM MY FIRSTBORN = 284. The amicable pair's second half — the firstborn-promise IS at the amicable-friendship integer 284. And the firstborn integer FIRSTBORN itself = 121 = 11² (perfect square of the eleventh prime). Lock (v37): FAITHFUL WITNESS IN HEAVEN = 270 = UNDERSTANDING OF THE TIMES (Issachar's gift). 270 = the tribe-Issachar-prince integer set. The pre-Selah seal at v37 (Selah-2) buries 270 — the covenant terminates at the understanding-of-times integer, the very gift that allows Israel to know how to handle exactly what comes next (v38 cast-off lament).
Lock (v38) — THE pivot lock: THINE ANOINTED = TENDER MERCIES = 138 (forward-bridge to Psa 138). Same 138: TENDER MERCIES (the answering term that fires at Psa 119:77/156). The cast-off-and-abhorred figure of v38 is at the integer of tender mercies — the same mercy-cluster Psa 138 names by chapter. The verse-sum 735 = 5 × 147 = 5 × INHERIT THE LAND — the pivot-verse scales by the inherit-the-land integer (a Tesla 5×7²×3 factorization).
Lock (v38): THOU HAST BEEN WROTH = 222 = 3 × JESUS. The wrath-clause lands on the 3×JESUS cluster — the same 222 cluster that fires 9 times across the psalm. Same 222 fires at v52 twice in the closing doxology ("the LORD for evermore" = 222; "LORD for evermore Amen" = 222) — the closing benediction reverses the wrath at the same integer.
Lock (v38): CAST OFF AND ABHORRED = 160 = Psa 55 central-mechanism integer (psalm_55_decode). From the Psa 55 decode: 160 is the verb-substitution integer (ESCAPE FROM THE WINDY STORM at v8 = CAST UPON THEE THY BURDEN at v22 — same 160, opposite verb-direction). Lock (v42): RIGHT HAND (of his adversaries, v42) = 89 = chapter integer = FOR EVER = YOUTH = coronation cluster. Even at the lament's RIGHT HAND of the adversaries, the chapter integer fires. The right-hand is the seat of Christ (Psa 110:1); v42 inverts it to "the right hand of his adversaries" — but the integer 89 holds. Reading: the throne-position integer cannot be transferred; only the verb-direction flips.
Lock (v44): FOOTSTOOL = 137 = RISE NOT UP (Psa 140:10) — the fine-structure prime (psalm_110_decode, psalm_140_decode). (Correction: "TO THE GROUND" was previously claimed at 137 but computes to 147 — the throne-cast-down phrase does not share this integer; the footstool/rise-not-up pairing itself is independently verified.) 137 binds the wicked-feet-at-the-Son's-footstool and the rise-not-up prohibition. The atomic-binding prime.
Lock (v46): HIDE THYSELF = 121 = FIRSTBORN (v27). The hiding of God in lament (v46) is the same square-integer as the firstborn-establishment of v27. The promise of v27 and the fear of v46 are one square-integer. Reading: the firstborn cannot be lost because the hiding-thyself integer = the firstborn integer; what is feared has the same square as what was promised.
Lock (v47): ALL MEN IN VAIN = 126 = THINE ENEMIES = HATH SWORN (Psa 110:4 cross-bridge). The vanity-of-man and the divine-oath share an integer. The lament's "wherefore hast thou made all men in vain" is at the oath-integer. Even at the sharpest cry, the oath holds the integer.
Lock (v48) — Selah-3 burial: From the Selah-as-buried-integer architecture, Selah-3 buries 219 (FROM THE HAND OF THE GRAVE). Same 219 = ROCK OF MY SALVATION (v26). The grave-question (v48) and the salvation-rock (v26) share an integer. Selah-3 buries the grave-question at the salvation-rock integer — the cry is buried at the answer's integer.
Lock (v48): HAND OF THE GRAVE = 134 = MASCHIL OF ETHAN (superscription) = I HAVE SWORN (v3/v35) = COMMANDMENTS. The grave's hand is the title's integer is the oath's integer. The four-way 134 lock saturates the psalm's structural columns: title (134) → oath (134) → grave (134) → commandments (134). All structural primes route through one number. Lock (v48): DELIVER HIS SOUL = 178 = 2 × 89 = 2 × FOR EVER / 2 × YOUTH — the coronation cluster doubled at the grave-question verb. The opening promise-noun and the closing doxology fragment lock at 140 — the Psa 140 chapter, the Psa 18:50 forward-bridge. The psalm closes on the same integer it opens with, and that integer names the answering psalm. The Third Book of the Psalter terminates on a same-integer alpha-omega handshake. Only Psa 22 has previously been documented as hosting both halves inside a single psalm. Psa 89:45 is the first known case of a complete amicable pair inside a single verse. The mutual-love shape inside the verse about a king's son whose days were shortened — the integer-form of king and king's son, parent and child, covenant and inheritor. Reading: when the days are shortened (108), the king's son (108) is preserved (108) and dwells (108) — at the same integer. The shortening is integer-coincident with the preservation. The focus-verse main clause is gematria-identical to the Psa 110 dew-of-coronation clause. The days that were shortened (Psa 89:45) and the dew of the king's youth at his coronation (Psa 110:3) are one integer (195). The mourning-clause and the crowning-clause share a number.
