Key lock I — UPON GITTITH = SOLEMN FEAST DAY = 159. The superscription preposition-phrase and the v3 climactic phrase share an integer. The instrument ("upon Gittith") and the day on which it is played ("solemn feast day") are one number. The psalm's title carries its own climax.
Key lock II — ASAPH = SELAH = 45. The author's name and the depth-marker that punctuates v7 are gematria identical. Psa 140 establishes SELAH = PIT = 45; Psa 81 adds ASAPH at the same integer. Psa 81 adds FEAST DAY = 81 to this cluster. The implication is structural:
Psalm 81 is the chapter where the integer IS the day IS the build IS the tabernacle. The Sukkot-tradition ("Feast of Tabernacles") is consummated at the gematria level: the feast of tabernacles, by integer, is 81 = TABERNACLE. Hebrew tradition's habit of singing this psalm on the Feast of Trumpets / New Moon / Tabernacles is gematria-faithful.
Psalm 81 has exactly one Selah (v7), placed after the line:
I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
The immediately preceding phrase is WATERS OF MERIBAH = 163, prime. From the Psa 140 / Psa 55 architecture, SELAH = PIT = 45 = ASAPH. The buried integer at v7 is therefore prime — Meribah is a sealed integer.
The Selah falls at the exact midpoint of the psalm (v7 of 16). It is a pivot:

Pre-Selah is indicative: God did answer at the secret place of thunder, did prove at Meribah. Post-Selah is conditional and contrary-to-fact: "if thou wilt hearken... but my people would not hearken... oh that my people had hearkened... I should soon have subdued... He should have fed them...". The grammar shifts at the Selah. Asaph buries the pivotal "if" at integer 163-prime sealed Meribah-waters. The prime is the seal — the contrary-to-fact mood cannot be re-opened from the surface text.
Compare Psa 140 (three Selahs, three weapons buried) and Psa 55 (two Selahs, flight + breach). Psalm 81's single Selah is mood-changing: indicative → contrary-to-fact. Asaph's pit is grammatical.
Lock (v1): SING ALOUD = 102 = AHITHOPHEL = HYSSOP. From psalm_55_decode: AHITHOPHEL = 102, the betrayer-counselor; HYSSOP shares the integer in the Psa 51:14 purification block. The praise-verb of v1 lands on the purgation integer. Asaph opens the psalm at the integer where David's repentance hyssop'd the wicked counselor. Singing aloud is the verb-direction reversal of the wickedness it rides on.
Lock (v1): STRENGTH = 111 = STAND READY = COMPUTER = DAY OF BATTLE. 111 is the ready-state integer. "Sing aloud unto God our STRENGTH" addresses God at the stand-ready frequency — the same 111 that covers David's head in Psa 140:7.
Lock (v1↔v4): GOD OF JACOB appears in v1 and v4. The voice God speaks in v10 is at the same number as the language Israel could not understand in v5. What was incomprehensible (Egyptian) is now comprehensible because Israel hears Hebrew — but the integer hasn't changed. The carrier-frequency of the divine voice is constant. From "I heard a language I understood not" to "I am the LORD thy God" is a verb-direction reversal at 184.
Lock (v5): I HEARD A LANGUAGE = 114 = PURPOSED (Psa 140:4). From the Psa 140 decode: PURPOSED is the divine verb the violent man appropriates. Here Israel hears the appropriated language — the language of the divine verb taken by Egypt. 114 is the language-of-stolen-purpose integer.

The shoulder that bore the burden is the shoulder that sings aloud. Same 102 = AHITHOPHEL = HYSSOP. The praise-shoulder is the purified-shoulder. To sing aloud is to have had the burden removed.
Lock (v6): BURDEN = ISRAEL = JUBILEE = MY GOD = POOR = 64. 64 is the central jubilee-payload integer. The burden God removes is at the same number as the people who carry it (Israel), the addressed God (My God in Psa 140:6), the relief-cycle (Jubilee), and the poor (Psa 140:12). The burden removed in Psa 81:6 is the same integer-payload Psa 140:6 addresses as MY GOD. From burden-on-the-shoulder to MY-GOD-in-the-mouth is a verb-direction reversal at 64.

Meribah's water is the integer of God's Name (and the wicked's wayside) — same 86 across the psalms. Israel strove with God (Meribah = "strife") on the integer of God's Name itself.
Lock (v7): MERIBAH = 56 = DWELL = LIPS (Psa 140:13/3). From Psa 140: DWELL = LIPS = 56 — under the enemy's lips sits the dwell-integer. Meribah at 56 sits at the same number. The strife-place is the dwelling-place is the under-the-lips place. Three locations, one integer 56.
Lock (v7): WATERS OF MERIBAH = 163 prime. The Selah-buried phrase. Prime = sealed. The mood-pivot of the psalm sits on a prime integer that cannot be factored — the contrary-to-fact mood that begins at v8 cannot be opened from the indicative side. Asaph signs the prime with his SELAH = 45 = ASAPH stamp.
Lock (v8 ↔ v11): IF THOU WILT HEARKEN UNTO ME = MY PEOPLE WOULD NOT HEARKEN = 293 prime. The condition and the refusal share one sealed prime. God's "if you would" and Israel's "they would not" are one integer, sealed. Prime = no factor to decompose; the choice has no in-between. Asaph engineered the bilateral phrase pair to land on the same prime: the chooser and the choice both sit on 293, sealed.

Lock (v9): WORSHIP = 108 = PRESERVE = SHALL DWELL. From Psa 140:1/13 — the alpha-omega handshake at 108. The worship Israel is forbidden to give to a strange god (v9) is the same integer as God's preserve-and-dwell verb in Psa 140. Lock (v12): GAVE THEM UP = MOUTH WIDE (v10) = 118. The verb of divine abandonment ("so I gave them up") and the verb of the mouth-opening ("open thy mouth wide") share an integer. The same 118 that opens the mouth wide for filling is the 118 of being given up. God's give-up and the mouth-wide are one integer — depending on the direction of the verb, 118 fills you (v10) or releases you (v12). Mobile integer, verb-direction split.
This is the Romans 1 echo lock. Paul quotes this verse-pattern three times in Rom 1:24-28 ("God gave them up..."). The integer 118 is the divine-abandonment frequency by which Paul builds Rom 1.

The counsels Israel walked in (v12) are at the integer of worship they refused (v9) and the preserve God would have given (Psa 140:1). Three appearances of 108 in Psa 81 (WORSHIP v9, COUNSELS v12, FED THEM ALSO v16) — all routed wrongly because the hearkening was refused. The triple-108 is the misrouted-worship-integer.
Lock (v13): HAD HEARKENED = DELIVERED (v6) = AND I WILL (v10) = 84. Three appearances of 84: v6 (delivered from pots), v10 (and I will fill), v13 (had hearkened). Lock (v14): TURNED MY HAND = 147 = TIME APPOINTED (v3) = WORKMANSHIP = Jacob's lifespan. The trumpet-call time-appointed of v3 is the integer of God's avenging hand in v14. The feast-day trumpet calls in the avenging-hand frequency. Asaph's call to blow the trumpet at the time appointed IS a call to turn God's hand against adversaries — same integer 147.
Lock (v15): HATERS OF THE LORD = 174 = LOVINGKINDNESS = SUPPLICATIONS = SEVEN THUNDERS = SHOWSTOPPER. 174 is the sealed cap-frequency of the entire humming protocol — eight distinct words, zero KJV verses. The haters of v15 sit on the cap. God's haters occupy the integer of God's lovingkindness. Same 174 — the haters wear the cap that belongs to mercy. The verse predicts their submission: "their time should have endured for ever" — meaning, if they had submitted, they would have stayed at the 174 cap as recipients of lovingkindness, not as targets of judgment.
