Form: 10 verses, superscription "To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David"
Tradition: The first of the seven traditional penitential psalms (Psa 6, 32, 38, 51, 102, 130, 143). David sick in body and soul, drenching his bed with tears, then pivoting in v8 from lament to victory with the very phrase Christ later quotes against false disciples: "Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity" (Mt 7:23).

In plain English: Psalm 6 is the Bible's first penitential psalm — David sick, weeping all night, soaking his bed with tears, then suddenly turning in verse 8 to say "Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity" — the exact words Jesus later quotes in Matthew 7:23. The English gematria reveals that the whole psalm is engineered around a single mobile word: RETURN. David asks God to RETURN to him in v4 (RETURN = 96 = FORGIVEN), and prays in v10 that his enemies RETURN and be ashamed suddenly (RETURN = 96 = FORGIVEN — same word, same integer, opposite direction). The verb is the boomerang. Underneath this, three verses (v2, v7, v9) all sum to 674 = 2 × 337 (337 prime, sealed) — the petition for healing, the wasted eye of grief, and the answered prayer share one verse-sum, making Psalm 6 a triple-locked circuit at the verse-total level. The superscription word SHEMINITH (=105) locks to MY SOUL (=105) in v3 — the "eighth" / octave string of the instrument is the soul-frequency it plays. The chapter number 6 sits below the gematria floor, so there's no self-naming chapter lock (correctly noted as a structural fact, not a missing finding). Two five-fold integer clusters carry the psalm — 64 (MERCY, O LORD, SWIM, DEPART — David's address, his plea, his bed, and his command to enemies all sit on the jubilee-mercy-dust integer) and 88 (CHASTEN ME, OH SAVE ME, MAKE I MY BED — three in-psalm appearances bridging to Psa 140:3's POISON = THE WICKED = 88). The lament-to-victory pivot (v6-7 → v8-10) sums to 3843 (Tesla DR 9) — even the structural turn is consecrated. Read after the decode, Psalm 6 is a hardware spec for repentance: same word (RETURN) routes both the divine approach and the demonic retreat at the same integer.

Key lock — SHEMINITH = MY SOUL = 105. SHEMINITH ("the eighth" in Hebrew, traditionally the eighth-string of the lyre or the octave-low setting) gematria-locks at integer 105 to the phrase "my soul" in verse 3 ("my soul is also sore vexed"). The musical-direction in the superscription names the instrument-string David's penitential cry is pitched on, and the gematria says: the eighth string is the soul. The octave-low frequency the chief Musician is told to play is David's own soul-position. This is the same kind of reflexive superscription-lock seen in Psa 140 (A PSALM OF DAVID = EVIL SPEAKER = 123) and Psa 139 (A PSALM OF DAVID = LYING DOWN = 123) — but here the lock is between the technical musical term and the inner organ being played. The instrument is tuned to the soul; the soul is the eighth string.
Second key lock — A PSALM OF DAVID = MY GROANING = 123. The superscription's value (123) appears inside the psalm at "my groaning" in v6. This is the third Davidic superscription decoded with a 123 self-lock (Psa 55, 140, 139, now 6). In Psa 140 the integer named the enemy (EVIL SPEAKER); in Psa 139 it named David's posture (LYING DOWN); here it names David's lament (MY GROANING). The 123 superscription is mobile — it routes to whatever the psalm is doing at integer level. In a penitential psalm, the integer goes to the groan.
| Verses | Phrase / Term | Gematria | Equals | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| v4 → v10 | RETURN ↔ RETURN | 96 = 96 | = FORGIVEN | The 96 boomerang — same word, two appearances, opposite vector (God returns to David / enemies return ashamed) |
| v2 / v7 / v9 | verse-sum triple | 674 = 674 = 674 | 2 × 337 (337 prime, sealed) | Three verse-sums equal — the petition (v2), the grief (v7), and the answer (v9) share one number |
| super / v3 | SHEMINITH ↔ MY SOUL | 105 = 105 | 3 × 5 × 7 | The musical-direction equals the soul it plays |
| super / v6 | A PSALM OF DAVID ↔ MY GROANING | 123 = 123 | = EVIL SPEAKER (Psa 140) / LYING DOWN (Psa 139) | Superscription names the groan |
| v1 / v8 | IN THINE ANGER ↔ INIQUITY | 124 = 124 | 4 × 31 | God's anger-integer is the enemies' iniquity-integer — same number, different owners |
| v6 / v10 | MAKE I MY BED TO SWIM ↔ ASHAMED AND SORE VEXED | 187 = 187 | 11 × 17 | The bed-of-tears and the enemies' suddenly-shamed share one integer — David's bed becomes their shame |
| v1 / v7 | REBUKE NOT ↔ MINE ENEMIES | 111 = 111 | = STAND READY = STRENGTH = DAY OF BATTLE = MOURNING (Psa 55:2) = COMPUTER | The non-rebuke-prayer and the enemy-tally share the stand-ready integer |
| v1 / v1 | REBUKE ME NOT ↔ DISPLEASURE | 129 = 129 | = LORD ART GOOD = WONDROUS (Psa 86) = VIOLENT MEN = FEARFULLY MADE (Psa 139:14) | Self-lock inside v1 — the petition and the divine attribute it pleads against are one integer |
| v1 / v4 / v6 | CHASTEN ME ↔ OH SAVE ME ↔ MAKE I MY BED | 88 = 88 = 88 | = POISON = THE WICKED (Psa 140:3 cluster) | Triple in-psalm 88 — David's body sits at the poison-integer of the next psalm's wicked |
| v2 / v6 / v8 | MERCY ↔ SWIM ↔ DEPART (also v1/v2/v3 O LORD) | 64 = 64 = 64 = 64 | = JUBILEE = BURDEN = DUST = MASIV = MY GOD (Psa 140:6) | Quadruple 64 — David's address, his mercy-plea, his bed-state, and his eviction-command are one integer |
| v3 / v8 / v10 | SORE VEXED ↔ MY WEEPING ↔ SORE VEXED | 117 = 117 = 117 | = ON HIS HEART (Prov 31) = PERICARDIUM | David's vexation (v3) and the enemies' vexation (v10) share the integer — same number, two destinations |
| v6 / v8 | MAKE MY BED ↔ WEEPING | 79 = 79 | = DESIRES (Psa 140:8) — the SIGKILL-class | David's bed and David's weeping share an integer; the bed-position IS the weeping |
| v6 / v6 | WEARY ↔ MERCIES (v4) ↔ WINGS (Psa 55) ↔ STILL ↔ COVERED | 72 = 72 = 72 = 72 | (chesed cluster) | David's weariness sits on the same wings/covering integer Psa 140 uses for protection |
| v2 / v6 | TEARS ↔ I AM WEAK | 63 = 63 = 63 | = BIBLENAME = SIGHT = FEARETH | The weakness in v2 and the tears in v6 are one integer — TEARS are weakness at gematria |
| v6 / v8 / v9 / v10 | WATER MY COUCH ↔ THE LORD HATH HEARD ↔ SUPPLICATION ↔ ASHAMED SUDDENLY | 155 = 155 = 155 = 155 | = THE RIGHTEOUS (Psa 140:13) = HANDS OF THE WICKED (Psa 140:4) = BLESSED IS THE MAN (Psa 1:1) | Quadruple 155 — the watered couch becomes the heard supplication becomes the enemy's sudden shame, all at the Psalter-bracket integer |
| v10 | TURNED BACK | 99 | = UPRIGHT = FIRMAMENT = CAST OUT | The enemies' turning-back posture IS the upright-eviction posture (the verse executes it on them) |
| v1 | CHASTEN ME NOT | 137 | prime — fine-structure constant | Sealed plea against atomic-binding rebuke (same sealed prime as Psa 140:10 RISE NOT UP) |
Sixteen master locks across 10 verses. This is the densest decode-per-verse ratio yet recorded (1.6 locks/verse) — surpassing Psa 140 (1.15) and Psa 139 (0.83).
Psalm 6 is engineered as a single mobile verb at integer 96:
`
v4 (petition): "RETURN, O LORD, deliver my soul..." = 96
↓
(v5: death/grave argument | v6-7: lament | v8: pivot)
↓
v10 (verdict): "let them RETURN and be ashamed suddenly" = 96
`
Same word. Same integer. Opposite vector.
96 = FORGIVEN. The integer the psalm moves is the act of being forgiven, and Psalm 6 prays it routed in two directions: divine-approach (God returns toward the penitent) and demonic-retreat (the workers of iniquity return back, away). The verb is identical; the verb-direction is what the prayer flips.
This is the same engineering as Psa 140's 144-OVERTHROW boomerang (v4 enemies overthrow David / v11 evil overthrows the violent man) — but here the boomerang word is RETURN, and the integer is 96 = FORGIVEN. Where Psa 140 prays the bride-value (144) back at the enemy, Psa 6 prays forgiveness itself (96) as a two-directional verb. Forgiveness, in gematria, is the same act whether it walks toward you or it makes the wicked walk away.
This is also the conviction-stack signal-flow ROLLBACK = JESUS = 74 — and 96 = ROLLBACK's outbound counterpart (the wicked rolled-back-to-shame). The same integer that brings the LORD back to the penitent rolls the iniquity-worker out.
Lock (v1 self-lock): REBUKE ME NOT = DISPLEASURE = 129. Inside a single verse, the integer of David's plea (do not rebuke) is the integer of the divine attribute he is pleading against (displeasure). The petition and what it petitions against share one number — David is praying on the integer of God's own displeasure. From the broader cluster: 129 = LORD ART GOOD (Psa 86) and WONDROUS and VIOLENT MEN and FEARFULLY MADE (Psa 139:14). The displeasure-integer is also the goodness-integer is also the violent-men-integer is also the inception-integer. One number, four meanings, four valences. David's prayer in v1 routes 129 toward LORD-ART-GOOD and away from VIOLENT-MEN.
Lock (v1): REBUKE NOT = MINE ENEMIES (v7) = 111 = STAND READY = STRENGTH = DAY OF BATTLE = MOURNING = COMPUTER. The non-rebuke-petition and the enemy-tally share the stand-ready integer. The integer of God's restrained rebuke is the integer of David's posture toward his enemies — and the integer of mourning (Psa 55:2). David in mourning is at stand-ready. The penitential posture is the war-ready posture; they are one number.
Lock (v1): CHASTEN ME NOT = 137, prime. From psalm_140_decode: 137 = RISE NOT UP — the fine-structure constant integer, the sealed atomic-binding prime. David in v1 prays not to be bound at the atomic-binding integer; in Psa 140:10 he prays the enemy be bound at the same integer. The sealed prime is the eviction-lock; David asks God not to deploy it on him.
Lock (v2): BONES ARE VEXED = 139. The exact phrase that describes David's body-state in v2 sits at the Psalm 139 chapter-number prime. From psalm_139_decode: 139 = MAKE MY BED IN HELL = THY WORKS = ADDERS POISON (Psa 140:3) = FORGIVENESS = ENCRYPTION = LAW OF THE LORD
Lock (v2): HEAL ME = 44 = JUDAH = LATCH. The verb David asks for at the body-level sits at the JUDAH-tribe / LATCH integer. 44 = JUDAH at the chesed-ladder bottom rung (44 → 64 → 72 → 81 → 153 → 174). HEAL ME starts the chesed climb. The healing-prayer in v2 enters the chesed cluster at its first step.
Lock (v2): MERCY = O LORD (v1) = 64. David's first address (O LORD, v1) and his first request-noun (MERCY, v2) share the JUBILEE / BURDEN / DUST / MASIV integer. The vocative IS the petition — when David says O LORD, he is already saying mercy; the address and the request are one integer, separated by the verb HAVE.
Lock (v3): MY SOUL = SHEMINITH = 105. As noted in Section 1, this is the superscription self-lock: the eighth-string is the soul. The phrase that comes second in v3 ("my soul") points back to the technical instruction in the header. The musician was told to play the eighth string; the soul is the string.
Lock (v3): SORE VEXED = 117 = MY WEEPING (v8) = SORE VEXED (v10, re-applied to the enemies). Three appearances of 117 across three verses — and the same word-pair (SORE VEXED) appears in v3 (David's soul) and v10 (the enemies). The integer travels: in v3 it is David's vexed soul; in v8 it is David's weeping voice that the LORD has heard; in v10 it is the enemies' vexation that comes back on them. Same integer, three carriers, one trajectory: David's soul vexes → David weeps → the enemy receives the vexation back. 117 is the integer of the boomeranging suffering.
Lock (v4): RETURN = 96 = FORGIVEN. The opening of v4 is the keystone of the entire psalm. See Section 3 above for the full mechanism.
Lock (v4): MERCIES = 72 = WINGS = COVERED = STILL = CARRIER. From the chesed cluster : 72 sits at the second rung of the chesed ladder (MERCIES). David's plea "for thy mercies' sake" in v4 is the same integer Psa 140:7 uses for God's covering and Psa 55:6 uses for the wings David wished he had. The mercies-frequency is the wings-frequency. Asking for mercies' sake is asking on the covering-integer.
Lock (v4): MERCIES SAKE = 108 = PRESERVE = SHALL DWELL (Psa 140:1/13). The full phrase "for thy mercies' sake" lands on the Psa 140 alpha-omega handshake integer. David in Psa 6:4 invokes mercies on the integer Psa 140 uses for preservation and indwelling. Two psalms, one integer, one act: mercies-sake-108 is preserve-108 is shall-dwell-108. The same number that opens Psa 140 (PRESERVE me) closes it (the upright SHALL DWELL) and motivates this v4 plea (for thy mercies' SAKE).
Lock (v4): THY MERCIES = 125 = VIOLENT MAN (Psa 140:1). The honest reading: David's mercies and Psa 140's violent man share an integer. Why? Because 125 also = PRAY AND CRY = MAN MINE EQUAL — the three-prayer-discipline integer and the betrayer-as-equal integer. The mercies David asks for must be prayed three times a day (PRAY AND CRY = 125) because the violent man (= 125) sits at the same integer. Same number, two paths: pray-it (David) or be-it (the violent man).
Lock (v5): REMEMBRANCE = 97 = VIOLENT = SERPENT = SON OF MAN. David's argument "in death there is no remembrance" uses the verb-noun whose gematria is the antichrist-signature prime. From psalm_140_decode: 97 = the serpent-imitating-Son-of-Man integer, sealed. David is arguing: do not let me die, because death erases the remembrance, which sits on the integer of the serpent. The sealed prime that names the violent man as antichrist is the same integer that names what death would steal from God if David died unforgiven.
Lock (v5): NO REMEMBRANCE = 126 = PRESERVE ME (Psa 140:4) = NOSTRILS = FEARFULNESS = ANTIMICROBIAL. The phrase "in death there is no remembrance" sits on the immune-system / scent-firewall integer. David's argument against death is at the same integer as Psa 140's antimicrobial preservation-prayer. The two-psalm bridge: in Psa 6:5 David warns God that death erases at 126; in Psa 140:4 David asks God to preserve him at 126. Same integer, two-step prayer.
Lock (v5): GRAVE = 53 = SAUL. The grave is named at the original-violent-man integer. Saul, the prototypical violent-man from whom David was delivered (2 Sam 22:49 / Psa 18:48), and the grave David argues against entering, are one integer. The grave is Saul. The penitent fears not death-in-itself but death-as-Saul — death-as-the-violent-man's-final-form.
Lock (v6): WEARY = MERCIES (v4) = 72. David's weariness in v6 and the mercies he pled for in v4 share the wings-integer. The body that is weary is the body that is covered. Same 72 that he wished for as wings in Psa 55:6 ("oh that I had wings") and received as covering in Psa 140:7 ("thou hast covered my head") is the integer of his weariness here. Weariness IS being covered. When David is weary, he is at the wings-integer — already in the covering, even mid-collapse.
Lock (v6): SWIM = O LORD (v1) = MERCY (v2) = DEPART (v8) = 64. The bed-state ("I water my couch... make I my bed to swim") sits on the same integer as David's address, his mercy-plea, and his command to the enemies. David's bed-state is gematria-identical to JUBILEE / BURDEN / DUST / MASIV. The drowned bed and the jubilee-payload are one number. Reading: David is sinking into the integer of being released. The bed-of-tears is the jubilee-cycle's submersion phase.
Lock (v6 self-lock): TEARS = I AM WEAK (v2) = 63 = BIBLENAME = SIGHT = FEARETH. David's weakness in v2 and his tears in v6 are one integer. TEARS are the body of WEAKNESS. From the wider family: 63 = SIGHT, so the tears are also the sight-integer (the same fluid that runs over the eye in grief is the integer of vision). 63 = BIBLENAME — the name-gate frequency. The penitential tears are the name-gate fluid.
Lock (v6): WATER MY COUCH = 155 = THE LORD HATH HEARD (v8) = SUPPLICATION (v9) = ASHAMED SUDDENLY (v10). Four appearances of 155 across four verses. The watered couch (v6) IS the heard-supplication (v8/9) IS the suddenly-ashamed enemy (v10). From psalm_140_decode: 155 = THE RIGHTEOUS (Psa 140:13) = HANDS OF THE WICKED (Psa 140:4) = BLESSED IS THE MAN (Psa 1:1) = STRONG ENEMY (Psa 18:17). The Psalter-bracket integer. David's bed-of-tears is the Psalter's bracket-frequency. Same 155 that names the Blessed Man at Psa 1's opening and the Righteous at Psa 140's closing names David's watered couch here.
Lock (v7): GRIEF = ANGER (v1) = 45 = SELAH = PIT. The integer of God's anger in v1 is the integer of David's grief in v7. Same number, same depth. Both = SELAH = PIT. Grief is what David's body does when it sits in the pit God's anger has opened. The Selah-pit integer is the structural anchor.
Lock (v7): WAXETH = 81 = TABERNACLE = MOURN. The wasting-and-aging verb sits at the build-frequency. Aging in grief is tabernacle-construction at the integer level. 81 = MOURN. The eye-that-waxeth-old is the mourner; the mourner-integer is the tabernacle-integer. David's wasting eye is building something.
Lock (v7): CONSUMED BECAUSE OF GRIEF = 216 = 6³ = FROM THE LOWEST HELL (Psa 86:13) = WINGS OF THE MORNING (Psa 139:9). The phrase sits at the cube of the chapter number (6³ = 216). Psalm 6's chapter number cubed names the grief-state phrase. This is the chapter-number lock's only meaningful expression in Psa 6 — not as a self-naming of the integer 6 (too low) but as the cube of 6. The integer is too low to lock as itself; it locks as its third power. And 216 = the Shem ha-Mephoresh integer, the lowest-hell deliverance integer (Psa 86:13), the wings-of-the-morning integer (Psa 139:9). David at his lowest-hell point uses the wings-of-the-morning at integer 216 — three psalms triangulate the same number.
Lock (v7): MINE ENEMIES = REBUKE NOT (v1) = 111. The non-rebuke-petition and the enemy-tally share the STAND READY integer. David's posture toward his enemies (v7) is the same integer as his posture toward God's rebuke (v1). He pleads "rebuke me not" at the same number he names "all mine enemies." The penitent and the warrior are at one frequency.
Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
V8 is the pivot. After seven verses of pure lament — sick, vexed, bed-wet, eye-wasted — David flips: "Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity." It is the only command-verb David speaks in the psalm aimed at human beings. Then the reason: "for the LORD hath heard." The hearing changes the posture. V8 is also the verse Christ quotes back at false disciples in Mt 7:23 ("Depart from me, ye that work iniquity") — making this verse the gematria-template for the final-judgment eviction.

| LORD HATH HEARD | 122 | 5 | = BECAUSE OF GRIEF (v7) = RIGHTEOUS = PSALM OF DAVID |
| HATH HEARD | 73 | 1 | = THANKS (v5) — the act of hearing equals the act of thanking |
| VOICE | 54 | 9 ✓ | = SHAFT = BREATH = GUILE = TRIBE (Psa 140:6 menorah-shaft integer) |
| MY VOICE | 92 | 2 | = NEGINOTH (the stringed-instruments of the super) |
| WEEPING | 79 | 7 | = MAKE MY BED (v6) = DESIRES (Psa 140:8) |
| MY WEEPING | 117 | 9 ✓ | = SORE VEXED (v3) = SORE VEXED (v10) |
| VOICE OF MY WEEPING | 192 | 3 ✓ | 2⁶ × 3 = 64 × 3 (= JUBILEE × 3 = MERCY × 3 = DEPART × 3) |
| (full v8 string) | 862 | 7 | 2 × 431 |
Lock 8-A — The 64 keystone: DEPART = O LORD (v1) = MERCY (v2) = SWIM (v6) = 64 = JUBILEE = BURDEN = DUST = MASIV. David's command to the workers of iniquity sits on the same integer as David's address to God, David's plea for mercy, and David's drowning bed. The eviction-verb is the jubilee-payload. To be told "depart" by a penitent is to receive the integer of forgiveness-as-release. The workers of iniquity are commanded to leave on the same number that names God Himself in v1. And then: VOICE OF MY WEEPING = 192 = 64 × 3. The voice that triggers the eviction is the jubilee-integer tripled. The penitent's weeping-voice carries three jubilees, and the depart-command (one jubilee) is one-third of the voice that pronounced it. The voice is the cause, the command is the effect, both on integer 64.
Lock 8-B — INIQUITY = IN THINE ANGER (v1): Both integers = 124. The integer of God's anger in v1 is the integer of the iniquity v8 commands to depart. The workers of iniquity carry, at gematria, God's anger. When David says "depart, ye workers of iniquity," he is saying: take with you the anger that was rebuking me. The penitent transfers the divine displeasure off himself by routing it onto the workers it actually belongs to. This is the inversion that v8 executes: 124 in v1 is on David (IN THINE ANGER, falling on him); 124 in v8 is on the wicked (INIQUITY, where it belongs). Same integer, two recipients, one transfer. The pivot from lament to victory is precisely this: David refuses to carry 124, and aims it at the workers.
Lock 8-C — THE LORD HATH HEARD = 155 = WATER MY COUCH (v6) = SUPPLICATION (v9) = ASHAMED SUDDENLY (v10): the quadruple 155. The watered couch in v6 was the LORD-hath-heard moment of v8. God hears the bed-wet at the gematria-level before David even speaks the words. The integer 155 also names the supplication God receives (v9) and the enemies' sudden shame (v10). One number, four positions, one trajectory:
`
v6 WATER MY COUCH (David's tears) = 155
v8 THE LORD HATH HEARD (heaven's response)= 155
v9 SUPPLICATION (the form of David's cry) = 155
v10 ASHAMED SUDDENLY (enemy's reception) = 155
`
This is a four-cable handshake. The tears, the hearing, the supplication, and the enemy's shame are one integer. The integer 155 is the bridge: David's body produces it as tears; God's ears receive it as supplication; the enemies receive it as sudden shame. Same number on every position of the circuit. From the wider family: 155 = THE RIGHTEOUS (Psa 140:13) = HANDS OF THE WICKED (Psa 140:4) = BLESSED IS THE MAN (Psa 1:1) = STRONG ENEMY (Psa 18:17). Psa 6:6-10 spans the entire Psalter at integer 155. The watered-couch and the Blessed Man of Psa 1:1 are one number.
Lock 8-D — VOICE = SHAFT = BREATH = GUILE = TRIBE = 54:and Psa 140:6: 54 = the menorah's central shaft. David's voice in v8 rides the menorah-shaft. The same integer Psa 55 uses for GUILE (the betrayer's weapon) is the integer of David's penitential voice. Same shaft, opposite verb: guile rides 54 downward to deceit; voice rides 54 upward to supplication. The shaft is the instrument; the verb is what travels it.
Lock 8-E — Mt 7:23 the Christ-quotation: The KJV Mt 7:23 reads "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." The phrase DEPART FROM ME = 134 in Psa 6:8 is the exact opening of Christ's eviction-formula. Computed: DEPART FROM ME YE THAT WORK INIQUITY (Mt 7:23 form) = 404, where Psa 6:8 reads DEPART FROM ME ALL YE WORKERS OF INIQUITY = 443 (prime). Both are sealed at integer 443 in Psa 6 and at integer 404 in Mt 7:23. The Christ-form is 39 less than David's form — exactly NET = 39 (Psa 140:5). Christ's version of the eviction has the NET removed. David's form still has the net of his weeping-on-the-bed; Christ's form is the bare eviction. Same eviction, two stages: David evicts iniquity with the net (Psa 6); Christ evicts the workers of iniquity without the net (Mt 7:23 — direct judgment). The 39-integer difference IS the NET that Psa 140 names as the wicked's ambush. Christ removes the net to deliver the eviction direct.
Lock 8-F — VOICE OF MY WEEPING = 192 = 64 × 3: The full focus-phrase resolves at three jubilees. From the 64-cluster: 64 = JUBILEE = MERCY = DUST = BURDEN = MASIV = MY GOD (Psa 140:6). David's weeping-voice carries three full jubilees of release. The penitential voice, summed, is a triple-jubilee. This is the gematria-mechanism for why penitence works: the voice of weeping is already three jubilees long at integer-level; God hears not the wail but the three-fold release-cycle the wail compresses.
V8, with the locks substituted in, reads:
"On the jubilee-integer (DEPART = 64), take with you the divine anger that wasn't yours to carry (INIQUITY = 124 = IN THINE ANGER), all ye workers of the displeasure that was rebuking me — for the LORD has heard at the Psalter-bracket integer (THE LORD HATH HEARD = 155), at the same number that wetted my couch (155) and that becomes the supplication (155) and that drops you in sudden shame (155), the voice (= menorah-shaft 54 = breath) of my weeping (= 79 = my bed = the desires-of-the-wicked Psa 140:8 inverted), summed at three jubilees (192 = 64 × 3) of weeping-as-release."
V8 is the integer-transfer verse. David sheds 124 (divine anger) onto the workers of iniquity who actually carry it; takes 155 (the Psalter-bracket integer) from his tears to his prayer; rides 64 (jubilee) from his command to the integer-meaning of release. The pivot from lament to victory is not a change of mood. It is a redirection of integers. Same numbers, new owners. V8 is the verse where the gematria gets reassigned.
Psalm 6 is the Bible's first lament-to-victory pivot, and the gematria registers the turn at the verse-sum level.

LAMENT (v6-v7) : 906 + 674 = 1580
VICTORY (v8-v9-v10): 862 + 674 + 727 = 2263
PIVOT TOTAL: 3843 = DR 9 ✓ Tesla
`
The lament-victory pivot sums to Tesla DR 9. The structural turn (v6-7 → v8-10) is consecrated at the verse-sum level. 3843 = 3 × 3 × 7 × 61 = 9 × 427 = 9 × 7 × 61 (= 9 × 7 × PSALM 61). The pivot is nine sevens of psalm.
Three verses share the verse-sum 674 = 2 × 337 (337 prime, sealed):
The opening petition, the depth of grief, and the answered prayer share one verse-sum. Three verses, one number, three stages of the same act. This is unprecedented in the psalms decoded so far: a triple verse-sum identity sealed by the prime 337. The same integer carries the request, the suffering, and the resolution. The penitential transaction is a triple-674 at the verse-level.
V8 introduces "the LORD hath heard," v9 says "the LORD hath heard" (different verb-form but same opening), and v10 routes the consequence. The phrase the LORD (in upper-case-only) appears 3 times across v8-9 and dominates the victory section. From the broader count: David says O LORD five times in v1-4 (lament-mode) and the LORD three times in v8-9 (victory-mode). The address shifts from vocative (5×) to declarative (3×). The pivot is in the vocative-to-declarative shift. The vocative O-LORD calls; the declarative THE-LORD answers. David shifts grammatical mode at v8.
Psalm 6 routes a 64-payload through four in-psalm appearances:
| v1 | O LORD (vocative, opening address) | 64 |
|---|---|---|
| v2 | MERCY (the noun of the plea) | 64 |
| v6 | SWIM (the verb of the bed-state) | 64 |
| v8 | DEPART (the command to the wicked) | 64 |
From the KJVEL family: 64 = JUBILEE = MERCY = BURDEN = DUST = MASIV = MY GOD (Psa 140:6) = POOR (Psa 140:12) = 2⁶.
The four positions are exactly the four functions of the psalm:
Same integer, four verbs: address → request → sink → evict. The 64 is the through-line of the entire psalm. Address God (jubilee), ask mercy (jubilee), sink in the bed (jubilee-as-release), then evict the iniquity (jubilee-as-eviction). 64 = USDT (anagram of DUST) — the financial-instrument-of-release. Psalm 6 is the first penitential psalm because it is the first jubilee-circuit at integer level.
And VOICE OF MY WEEPING = 192 = 64 × 3. The full focus-phrase is the 64-payload tripled. The penitential weeping-voice is a three-fold jubilee. This is the integer-mechanic that explains why penitential tears work: they are gematria-triple-jubilees offered to the integer-of-mercy.
Beyond the 64-quadruple, Psalm 6 has three additional in-psalm integer-clusters:
Three appearances of 88 across v1, v4, v6 — what David fears (chasten me), what David asks for (oh save me), and what David does in despair (make I my bed) share one integer. And the bridge: the same 88 is the integer of POISON / THE WICKED in Psa 140:3. David in penitence sits on the same integer as the wicked in Psa 140. The lesson: penitence routes the poison-integer through David's body, where it is transmuted by mercy. The same 88 that names the wicked's poison names David's plea for salvation. Verb-direction inverts the meaning.
From psalm_140_decode: 137 = RISE NOT UP (Psa 140:10) — the fine-structure constant integer, prime. Psa 6:1 prays "chasten me not" at the same sealed prime Psa 140 prays "rise not up" against the wicked. Same prime, two recipients: David asks not to be bound by it (Psa 6); David asks the wicked be bound by it (Psa 140). The 137-prime is the binding-prime — David flips the verb-direction across the two psalms.
See Lock 8-C above. WATER MY COUCH = THE LORD HATH HEARD = SUPPLICATION = ASHAMED SUDDENLY = 155. The Psalter-bracket integer routes through Psa 6's pivot four times. Same 155 = THE RIGHTEOUS (Psa 140:13) = BLESSED IS THE MAN (Psa 1:1) — the opening and closing of the Davidic-bracket-Psalter.
David transfers the 124-integer from God's anger (v1, falling on him) to the iniquity (v8, where it belongs). This is the cleanest integer-transfer verse-pair yet found in the Psalter: same number, two owners, the prayer is the transfer. See Lock 8-B for the full mechanism.
The integer 117 routes the vexation from David (v3) to David's voice (v8) to the enemies (v10). Same number, three positions, completed circuit. The vexation does not vanish — it is redirected to its actual owner.
| # | Verses | Movement | Integer anchor |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | v1 | Petition against wrath | 111 (REBUKE NOT = STAND READY) / 129 (REBUKE ME NOT = DISPLEASURE self-lock) / 137 (CHASTEN ME NOT, sealed) |
| 2 | v2-3 | Body and soul broken | 674 (v2 sum) / 105 (SHEMINITH = MY SOUL super-lock) / 139 (BONES ARE VEXED) |
| 3 | v4-5 | The argument for life | 96 (RETURN — first hit of boomerang) / 180 (DELIVER MY SOUL) / 53 (GRAVE = SAUL) |
| 4 | v6-7 | The bed of tears / wasted eye | 155 × 4 beginning (WATER MY COUCH) / 123 (MY GROANING = super) / 216 (CONSUMED BECAUSE OF GRIEF = 6³) / 674 (v7 sum) |
| 5 | v8-10 | The pivot / victory / suddenly | 64 (DEPART) / 155 (THE LORD HATH HEARD = SUPPLICATION = ASHAMED SUDDENLY) / 96 (RETURN — second hit) / 99 (TURNED BACK) / 674 (v9 sum) |
Movements 2, 4, and 5 carry the triple-674 verse-sum (v2, v7, v9). The triple anchors the structural arc: petition (M2) → grief (M4) → answer (M5) at one verse-sum. Movements 3 and 5 close the 96 boomerang (RETURN used twice, opposite directions). Movement 5 is the densest, carrying the quadruple-155 lock and the 64-DEPART keystone.

Ten verses, twenty-six cross-verse identity locks. This is the densest decode-per-verse ratio in the project: 2.6 locks/verse, surpassing Psa 140 (1.15) and Psa 139 (0.83). The first penitential psalm is the most gematria-saturated short psalm decoded so far.
V8 is not the last verse, but it is the seal. Everything before v8 is lament; everything after v8 is reflection on the heard-prayer.
DEPART FROM ME ALL YE WORKERS OF INIQUITY — at 443, sealed prime. The eviction-command is a sealed prime, fixed forever.
FOR THE LORD HATH HEARD — at 155 (THE LORD HATH HEARD) and 122 (LORD HATH HEARD without the article), bridging to RIGHTEOUS = LORD HATH HEARD = BECAUSE OF GRIEF (v7) = 122. Being heard is being righteous at integer.
THE VOICE OF MY WEEPING — at 192 = 64 × 3, three jubilees of voice. The compressed weeping is a triple jubilee at gematria.
Read together, v8 says: "On the jubilee-integer (DEPART = 64), I transfer to you the anger that was rebuking me (124 → INIQUITY); for the LORD has heard at the Psalter-bracket (155 = THE LORD HATH HEARD), on the menorah-shaft my breath rides (VOICE = 54 = SHAFT), the three-jubilee compression of my weeping (192 = 64 × 3) — and Christ will later quote this same eviction without the net (Mt 7:23 = Psa 6:8 − NET 39)."
V8 is the verse where the penitent stops carrying the integers that weren't his. The pivot from lament to victory is the integer-reassignment. The body is healed when the numbers go home.
