In between, the slaughter is engineered: SHEEP = KORAH = GRAVE = DEPTH = SAUL = MY FACE = KILLED = 53. The Korahite singers' surname (Korah, swallowed alive into the pit, Num 16) is the gematria of the very sheep they say they have become. The slaughter-noun is the singer-name. The psalm is the Korahites singing their own descent-integer at the slaughter-integer, while invoking the patriarch (Abraham) and the messianic tribe (Judah) at the chapter number — and Paul, knowing this, hands the verse to the Roman martyrs as proof that nothing separates from the love of God.

Key lock — ABRAHAM = JUDAH = chapter 44. This is the Psa 139 personal-lock pattern operating at a double register. The psalm's chapter number (44) is the gematria of both the patriarch of faith (Abraham, "our fathers have told us" = v1's claim) and the messianic-line tribe (Judah, the one not removed in Rev 7). Two figures share the integer with the chapter. The psalm's opening verse references "our fathers" — and the integer of the father-of-faith is the integer of the chapter. The closing of the psalm prays for redemption "for thy mercies' sake" — at integer 108 (PRESERVE / SHALL DWELL / ROD AND STAFF). The 44-integer addresses Abraham and Judah; the 108-integer terminates on the preservation-promise integer. The chapter opens on the patriarch and closes on the dwell-promise.

The deliverances God is asked to command sit on the Lydia-Jezebel collision integer — the conversion-or-falsification frequency. Psa 44's petition routes through the same 180 that holds the right-of-the-poor.

Deliverance = sword = reproach, same integer, three verb-directions. The 117-frequency carries (a) what God commands (v4), (b) what David disavows (v6: I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me), and (c) what the enemy does (v16: reproacheth). David disavows the sword at 144 (v6); Psa 140 boomerangs OVERTHROW at 144 (the verb-direction-reversal integer). The integer the enemy aims at David in Psa 140:4 is the integer David refuses to lift his own sword on in Psa 44:6. David refuses to mobilize 144 in his own hand because 144 is the bride-value integer — to weaponize 144 is to attack the bride. Lock (v7): HATE US = 74 = JESUS = MENORAH = CROSS = FASTENED. The enemy's hatred sits on the Christic frequency. What the enemy aims at the people is the integer of the Lamb Himself. The hate-us verb is gematrically identical to the JESUS-name. The Lamb absorbs the hate at integer level — this is the structural ground for Paul's quotation: the slaughter-sheep are killed at the JESUS-integer because the Lamb wears the hate-frequency.
Lock (v8 — Selah preceded by): PRAISE THY NAME FOR EVER = 243 = 3⁵ (Tesla DR 9). Selah falls after this phrase. From the Selah architecture: the buried integer at v8's Selah is 243 = 3⁵ — a five-stack of threes. The praise sealed by Selah is structurally a five-fold Tesla. (Compare Psa 140's three Selahs each burying different weapon-integers.) Psa 44's single Selah buries a resolution integer (3⁵, pure Tesla) — and this is the last note before the psalm pivots into complaint at v9. The Selah is the boundary marker between memory-boast (v1-8) and abandonment-complaint (v9-22).
Lock (v10 → v3): TURN BACK FROM THE ENEMY = THEIR OWN ARM SAVE THEM = BOWED DOWN TO THE DUST = 237. Three integer-237 appearances span the psalm's central reversal: v3's they did not save themselves with their own arm (memory of dependence), v10's thou makest us to turn back from the enemy (current defeat), and v25's our soul is bowed down to the dust (lowest physical state). The same 237 is dependence, defeat, and dust. The three positions of the soul against an enemy — don't trust your arm / get turned back / lie face-down — share an integer. The integer 237 is the un-self-saving frequency.
Lock (v11 → v22): SHEEP = KILLED = MY FACE = KORAH = GRAVE = DEPTH = SAUL = 53. Sevenfold lock at integer 53. This is the densest integer-cluster in the psalm. They are singing their own surname at the integer of their slaughter. SAUL is also 53 — the David-pursuing king is at the same integer as the slaughtered-sheep. The slaughter is structurally a Korah-grave-Saul event. Three integer-239 appearances span the psalm's full arc: v1's memory-of-divine-work, v11's scattering-into-the-heathen, and Rom 8:37's more than conquerors. Same 142, two verb-directions: in v3 it remembers God's saving arm; in v17 it concedes God's afflicting hand. The Korahite martyr-loyalty is built on the recognition that the salvation-integer is the affliction-integer. The right hand that saved (v3) is the right hand that has come upon (v17).
