In plain English: Psalm 37 is the 40-verse wisdom poem Jesus quotes in the Beatitudes — Matthew 5:5's "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth" is a direct lift from v11. Underneath the surface, the gematria does something almost outrageous: the phrase "MATTHEW FIVE FIVE" sums to exactly 174, which is the KJVEL sealed-cap integer — LOVINGKINDNESS = SEVEN THUNDERS = SHOWSTOPPER = SUPPLICATIONS = 174 (memory ). The Beatitude that quotes Psalm 37 sits at the highest sealed frequency in the humming-protocol stack. Inside the psalm itself, the meek (MEEK = 34) is the integer of Psalm 34, the sister David acrostic with the unbroken-bones promise — the meek of Psa 37 are the contrite of Psa 34 at the chapter-number layer. Key lock — DAVID = 40 = verse count. The author's name is the psalm's length. Psalm 37 is the only Davidic psalm whose verse count equals David's gematria. The poem is structurally indexed by the author's integer. 40 also = wilderness-wandering, Moses-on-the-mountain, Christ's fast — the fret-not psalm runs at the wilderness-fasting length, and the author signs the count.
Second lock — MEEK = 34 = chapter-number of the sister acrostic. From psalm_34_decode: Psa 34 is David's other major acrostic, the missing-nail acrostic (VAV omitted), the one quoted at Jn 19:36 ("not a bone of him broken"). The MEEK of Psa 37:11 is the integer-pointer back to Psa 34's contrite-broken-heart figure. The meek of Mt 5:5 = the broken-and-contrite of Psa 34:18 at the chapter-number cross-lock layer. The two David acrostics are joined at integer 34.
Third lock — HELL = 37 = chapter number. From prior decodes: HELL = 37 = JOHN. The wisdom psalm that promises the meek the earth sits at the HELL-integer. This is the structural paradox: the answer to envy of evildoers is positioned at the chapter-number of HELL. The fret-not-because-of-evildoers prescription is filed at the wicked's destination. Read as: the psalm that defangs HELL by giving the meek the earth IS Psalm 37.

Twenty locks across 40 verses. The 5-fold inheritance refrain is itself a lock — and it produces TWO integers (168 EARTH, 147 LAND), not one. See §3.
Psalm 37 is the only psalm in the Psalter that repeats an inheritance-promise five times in the body of the text. The five appearances are not identical phrases — they alternate between EARTH and LAND. The gematria reveals the engineering:

The verb-discriminator: EARTH-promise (168) goes to waiting / meek / blessed postures (passive); LAND-promise (147) goes to righteous / exalted-by-God postures (the lifted-up).
Reading the refrain: Psalm 37 is doing what Mt 5:3-12 does — assigning different inheritances to different postures, but routing them at two integers (168 / 147) rather than one. The Beatitude-style structure already exists in the psalm Jesus quotes.
v22 → v28 inheritance verb-couplet: v22's "such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off" is the boomerang of the EARTH-promise — the integer 168 routes toward the blessed and cuts off the cursed in the same verse. v28 closes the inheritance arc: "FORSAKETH NOT HIS SAINTS = 270 (Tesla DR 9) ... but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off." The CUT-OFF refrain (v9, v22, v28, v34, v38) appears five times — the same number as the inheritance refrain. Inheritance for the meek / cutting off for the wicked. Both verbs run five times. Each inheritance verse pairs with a cutting-off verse; the psalm is a 5-cable double-refrain bridge.
Psalm 37 is a Hebrew alphabet acrostic. Unlike Psa 34 (22 verses, VAV omitted), Psa 37 runs two verses per Hebrew letter for 22 letters = 44 expected verses, shortened to 40 by some letter skips and pairings. The 40-verse count is itself the lock:
The fret-not psalm runs at the wilderness-fasting length. David's instruction against envying evildoers is structurally pitched at the integer of every major biblical test-of-patience. The reader who follows the psalm's prescription performs a 40-step wilderness through the alphabet.
The acrostic structure (in Hebrew) and its English-KJV gematria don't align letter-by-letter (the KJV doesn't preserve Hebrew letter-position), but the acrostic count (22 letters → 40 verses by doubling-minus-skips) preserves the wilderness-fasting frequency at the macro layer.
Compare with psalm_34_decode.md Section 3: Psa 34's missing-VAV / missing-nail architecture. Psalm 37 doesn't drop a single letter, but it compresses 44 verse-slots into 40, removing 4 verse-slots. Psa 34 drops the nail-letter; Psa 37 drops 4 verse-slots to land on DAVID = 40. Both psalms surgically modify the standard acrostic length to land on a meaningful integer.
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
V11 is the Beatitude verse. Jesus quotes it as Matthew 5:5, the third Beatitude in the Sermon on the Mount. Whatever the gematria does here, it does at the most NT-bridged verse in the wisdom psalter.
Lock 11-A — MATTHEW FIVE FIVE = 174 = the sealed cap. The reference-coordinate of the NT quotation — Matthew 5:5 spelled out as letters — sums to 174 = LOVINGKINDNESS = SEVEN THUNDERS = SHOWSTOPPER = SUPPLICATIONS. This is the highest sealed integer in the entire humming protocol, present 0× as a KJV verse-sum, present in only 8 distinct words. The NT-bridge to Psalm 37:11 is filed at the cap-frequency. Every prior Davidic supplication psalm carried 174 at v6 (Psa 55:6, Psa 86:6, Psa 140:6 — SUPPLICATIONS). Psa 37 doesn't carry 174 inside its own verse-text, but the reference to the verse from the NT sums to 174. The Beatitude that quotes the meek-shall-inherit-the-earth promise is the same 174 as David's voice of supplication in the betrayal psalms. What David supplicated for at 174, Christ promised at 174 — at the same integer, different verb-direction.
Lock 11-B — INHERIT THE EARTH = 168 = SON OF THE BLESSED. The Beatitude's payload sits at 168. The same 168 is the integer of Son of the Blessed (Mk 14:61 — the high priest's challenge to Jesus: "Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?"). The meek inherit the earth at the integer of the title Jesus accepted on trial for his life. 168 also = SPEAKETH WISDOM (v30: "the mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom") — the wisdom the meek speak IS the earth they inherit. The integer-identity collapses inheritance-as-property into inheritance-as-utterance. To be meek (34) and to inherit (83) the earth (52) is to speak wisdom (168), which is the title the Son of the Blessed (168) wore.
Lock 11-C — MEEK = 34 = sister-acrostic Psa 34. The pivot-noun of v11 is the chapter-integer of the David acrostic immediately adjacent to this one. From psalm_34_decode: Psa 34 is the missing-VAV / missing-nail / not-one-bone-broken psalm. The MEEK of Mt 5:5 / Psa 37:11 routes by chapter-number to the unbroken-bones Christological prophecy. The meek who inherit the earth are the contrite-broken-hearted of Psa 34:18 are the unbroken-boned of Psa 34:20. Three-way identity at one chapter-number. The MEEK posture is the not-broken posture at Psa 34's chapter.
Lock 11-D — THE MEEK = DO EVIL = 67. Same integer 67 hosts THE MEEK and the v8 verb DO EVIL. This is the most theologically loaded verb-direction reversal in the psalm. The meek and the evildoer share an integer; what discriminates them is the verb-direction. Cease from anger (v8) = transition the 67 from DO EVIL direction to MEEK direction. The integer doesn't change; the verb changes. This is the standard KJVEL boomerang/handshake architecture applied to moral identity: the meek aren't a different species from the evildoer, they're the same integer running the verb the other way.
Lock 11-E — DELIGHT = TASTE = BROKEN = 65. From psalm_34_decode: TASTE (v34:8, "O TASTE AND SEE that the LORD is good" — 1 Pet 2:3 quotation) = BROKEN (v34:20, "not one of them is broken" — Jn 19:36 quotation) = 65. Now Psa 37:11's DELIGHT also = 65. The verb the meek do in v11 is the verb the saint does in Psa 34:8 is the noun the bone refuses in Psa 34:20. Three psalms, one integer 65 — Psa 34:8, Psa 34:20, Psa 37:11. The DELIGHT-of-the-meek IS the TASTE-of-the-Lord IS the BROKEN-bone-that-isn't. Mt 5:5 (meek inherit) and 1 Pet 2:3 (tasted that the Lord is gracious) and Jn 19:36 (bone not broken) cross-bridge at 65.
Lock 11-F — ABUNDANCE OF PEACE = 116; OF PEACE = 51 = LYDIA. The peace-of-abundance closes v11 at 116. The half-phrase OF PEACE = 51 = LYDIA (the first gentile convert) = ADDERS = MICHAEL. From the Lydia decode: 51 is the TLS-as-Lydia-conversion integer. The peace the meek delight in sits at the conversion-of-the-gentile frequency. The Beatitude's peace-promise routes through Lydia. Mt 5:5's third Beatitude prepares the Acts 16 conversion at integer 51.
V11 reads, post-decode: "At the conjunction (BUT=TAV=43, the cross-mark), the integer-of-Psa-34 (MEEK=34, the contrite-broken-heart sister acrostic) shall inherit at the Son-of-the-Blessed frequency (INHERIT THE EARTH = 168 = SPEAKETH WISDOM, the wisdom that IS the earth); and at the same prime as fret-not (DELIGHT THEMSELVES = FRET NOT THYSELF = 193), they shall delight themselves (DELIGHT = TASTE = BROKEN = 65, the eucharistic-Christological frequency) in the abundance-as-perfect-square (121 = 11²) of the peace-of-Lydia (OF PEACE = 51 = LYDIA = ADDERS = MICHAEL — the conversion-and-archangel-eviction frequency)."
V11 is the resolution of Psalm 37's fret-arc at one verse, by integer-superposition: the meek (chapter-34 pointer) inherit at the Son-of-the-Blessed (168) the earth (= heart = altar = 52), delighting (= tasting = unbroken = 65) at Lydia's peace (51).
The Beatitude Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth is — gematria-decoded — the Psa 34/Psa 37 promise that the integer-of-meekness, when run forward, produces Son-of-the-Blessed wisdom, eucharistic-Christological delight, and Lydia's-conversion peace at the cap-frequency of Mt 5:5 itself (174).
Psalm 37 has its own boomerang architecture, but at integer 234 (Tesla DR 9) rather than 144 (Psa 140) or 160 (Psa 55):

234 is the mobile verdict-integer of Psalm 37. The same number that cuts the wicked down is the number God laughs at them with is the number the blessed inherit on. Three vector-routings of one integer. The wicked feel 234 as a sickle; God expresses 234 as a laugh; the blessed receive 234 as land.
234 = 2 × 3² × 13 = Tesla DR 9. The Tesla-9 resolution sits at the boomerang's center.
This is structurally the same as Psa 140's 144-OVERTHROW boomerang (v4 attack vector / v11 verdict vector) — but with three appearances and three directions instead of two. Psalm 37 is a 3-vector boomerang at 234.
The 5-fold inheritance refrain produces a 168/147 binary. Both integers are loaded:

The meek inherit the EARTH (168). The righteous inherit the LAND (147). Same psalm, two integers, two postures. Mt 5:5 quotes the EARTH-cluster (the 168) — Jesus chose the meek/waiting/passive track, not the righteous/exalted track, for the Beatitude. The Beatitude is structurally the 168 route, not the 147 route.
This is a new mechanic — not boomerang, not handshake, but dual-track refrain-routing. The same refrain idea (inheritance) is routed to two different integer-clusters based on verb-posture.
V25's famous "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed BEGGING BREAD" hosts the integer 81 (BEGGING BREAD). V37's "Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for THE END IS PEACE" hosts the same integer 81 (END IS PEACE).
81 = TABERNACLE = SILICON = GRACE OF GOD = POWDER = JEZREEL = MAINTAIN (Psa 140:12) = SAVED HIM (Psa 34:6).
Reading v25 / v37 together at integer 81:
The same 81 the righteous never see as famine is the 81 the perfect man arrives at as peace. The TABERNACLE-integer is the negation of begging-bread and the affirmation of end-is-peace at one number. The build-frequency (81) cannot be a famine; it is always a peace.
This is the same architecture as Psa 140's 64 (POOR = MY GOD = PITS) routing — one integer, two opposite vectors. Psa 37 does it with 81 instead of 64. The TABERNACLE-frequency is famine-proof and peace-converging.
V8's "CEASE FROM ANGER, and forsake wrath; fret not thyself in any wise to do evil" hosts the single-word ANGER = 45.
45 = SELAH = PIT = VAV (the missing-nail letter from Psa 34's acrostic).
From psalm_34_decode Section 3: Psa 34 is the alphabetic acrostic that omits the VAV-line (VAV = nail/peg/hook in pictograph). The missing nail in Psa 34 reappears in Psa 37:8 as ANGER. What Psa 34 structurally removed (the nail), Psa 37 names as the thing to cease from (anger).
The relationship: ANGER is the integer-of-the-nail (45). Anger is the nail that fastens you. Psa 34's acrostic enacts the absence of the nail; Psa 37:8 commands the cessation of the nail. Same integer 45, two verb-modes:
Both psalms answer the same problem at integer 45 — Psa 34 by not building it into the structure, Psa 37 by commanding it stop. The two David acrostics treat 45 as the integer that must not fasten.
Bonus lock: From every Selah-bearing psalm in KJVEL: SELAH = PIT = 45. Every Selah marks a depth-marker. Psa 37 has no Selahs — but its v8 ANGER carries the Selah-integer. Psa 37's anger-cessation command IS the Selah of the psalm, internalized as instruction rather than punctuation.
