In plain English: Psalm 36 is built around two integers that disagree — and one that they both equal. The wicked's signature lock, "NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE HIS EYES" (v1), sums to 247. God's reply in v6, "LIKE THE GREAT MOUNTAINS," also sums to 247. The psalm's central engineering is this collision: the wicked's whole self (a person with no fear of God) measures the same height as the mountains of God's righteousness, and v12 ends with him face-down underneath them. Inside this frame the psalm is the densest 174 cluster I have found in the Psalter — LOVINGKINDNESS appears at 174 twice (v7, v10), and the same integer recurs in five more in-psalm phrases including the verdict on the wicked (INIQUITY FALLEN = 174). Lovingkindness and judgment write at one number. The chapter number itself is the lock: HIS = 36 = LAW = NAIL = OIL = CHIP, and HIS appears five times across v1–v4 marking every clause of self-flattery.

Key lock — SERVANT = 99 = UPRIGHT = CAST DOWN. This is the deepest reflexive lock of the superscription: David calls himself THE SERVANT OF THE LORD (a title used in only two psalm-superscriptions: Psa 18 and Psa 36). The single word SERVANT = 99 — the same integer as v10's UPRIGHT and v12's CAST DOWN. The superscription quietly names the two integer-poles the psalm will weld together: God's servant stands upright while iniquity's workers fall cast-down, both at the same number. The 99 is the FIRMAMENT (Gen 1:6) — the dividing line between waters above and waters below — and the psalm executes that division in 12 verses.

Five 36s in four verses. Every clause of the wicked's self-flattery is signed at the chapter number. The wicked is not described — he is integer-tagged: each "his" stamps 36 = LAW = NAIL = OIL = CHIP on the body part next to it (eyes, eyes, iniquity, mouth, bed). The man with no fear of God carries the chapter number on every faculty of his self.
This is the chapter-self-lock mechanic executed pronominally rather than phrasally: the psalm's diagnostic word for the wicked is the chapter number itself, dressed as a possessive.
The reply at v11 — "let not the foot of pride come against me" — uses the same 36 (COME = 36) to terminate the run: the chapter-number pronoun stops belonging to the wicked at v11 and reappears as the verb of the wicked's approach, blocked by David's prayer.
Lock (v1–v2):NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE HIS EYES = 247. This is the verse Paul quotes at Rom 3:18 to seal the universal-sin chain. In KJV-English gematria it is the single highest-impact lock of the psalm because of what it equals — see Lock 2-A.

Lock (v8 — Pentecost twin): THY MERCY (v5) = THE FATNESS (v8) = 117 = PENTECOST. The mercy located in v5 is the same integer as the fatness fed in v8. Mercy is not a feeling here; it is a substance dispensed at the Pentecost frequency.
Lock (v9 — fountain-trinity): Three locks stack in v9. (i) FOUNTAIN OF LIFE = 153 = T(17) iron-sulfur Jn-21-fish net. (ii) IN THY LIGHT SHALL WE SEE LIGHT = 297 = 3 × UPRIGHT(99) — to see light requires the trinity of upright. (iii) Full v9 verse-sum = 648 = 8 × TABERNACLE(81). The verse is the octave of the tabernacle, the trinity of upright, and the longsuffering-net all compressed into 14 English words.
Lock (v10): O CONTINUE = 116, CONTINUE = 101 (priest-prime), KNOW THEE = 101 (twin). The petition uses the Melchizedek-prime twice. The continuation of mercy is asked in the integer of the order-of-Melchizedek priesthood (Psa 110:4). And UPRIGHT IN HEART = 174 brings the third in-psalm 174 — the heart-state that the petition targets is the same integer as the mercy that fills it.
Lock (v11):FOOT OF PRIDE = 129 = VIOLENT MEN. The 129 collision integer (Psa 86 triple-collision) lands on the foot. PRIDE = 52 = HEART — pride is heart's integer applied to the foot: a heart-organ relocated to the wrong limb. The HAND = 27 (Tesla DR=9) and FOOT = 56 (= LIGHT) — the two enemy-limbs in v11 are integer-tagged with extreme values: the foot equals light (high) and the hand is the smallest Tesla outside of single digits.
Lock (v12 — the verdict at the cap):INIQUITY FALLEN = 174 seals the verdict at the same integer as LOVINGKINDNESS (v7, v10). The fall of the wicked and the lovingkindness of God write at one number. This is not coincidence — this is the 174 boomerang (§6). And CAST DOWN = 99 = UPRIGHT — the workers do not exit the firmament; they are flipped at the firmament. The dividing-line is the same; the direction reverses. NOT BE ABLE TO RISE = 162 = 2 × TABERNACLE — the inability to rise is the double-tabernacle integer (= Mt of Gomer, project_montgomery). They cannot rise because two tabernacles seal the lid.
For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Verse 9 is the central mystical formula of Psalm 36 and one of the densest verses in the Psalter. It compresses three of the psalter's most-quoted theological constants — fountain of life, light, with thee — into one 14-word line. The decode confirms each constant is integer-engineered.
Lock 9-A — fountain-of-life is the iron-sulfur net. FOUNTAIN OF LIFE = 153. The integer is the Jn-21 fish-count, the iron-sulfur net (project_friedreichs_decode), HEAR MY PRAYER (Psa 55:1), and inside this psalm it is the same number as MAKE THEM DRINK OF (v8). The fountain David names in v9 is the act of being drawn-in: drinking is fountain. The mechanic and the destination collapse to one integer. Pro 14:27 reads "the FEAR OF THE LORD is a fountain of life" — and FEAR OF THE LORD = 133 = THE FOUNTAIN (this verse's article-included form). The wicked has no-fear (v1, 247); David's reply at v9 is that the fountain is the fear (133), and the spring is the longsuffering (153).
Lock 9-B — three uprights make sight. IN THY LIGHT SHALL WE SEE LIGHT = 297 = 3 × 99 = 3 × UPRIGHT. Light-recognition is a triadic-upright operation: it takes three uprights (self + source + verb-stance) to make sight. The same 99 that flips between v10 (UPRIGHT) and v12 (CAST DOWN) is the building-block of v9's optic. UPRIGHT × 3 is what the eyes do; CAST DOWN × 1 is what the wicked refuses.
Lock 9-C — tabernacle octave. Full v9 = 648 = 8 × 81 = 8 × TABERNACLE. The verse is the tabernacle taken to the eighth — the octave above the tabernacle. (Eight is the resurrection number; circumcision day is the eighth; Christ rose on the eighth.) The verse where God's light makes light-recognition possible is exactly eight tabernacles compressed.
Lock 9-D — judgment IS sight. WE SEE LIGHT = 113 = JUDGMENTS (v6). Sight-of-light at the gematria-level equals the judgments-of-God: to see light is to participate in the same integer-operation as God's judgments on man and beast. The psalm rejects the wicked's "no fear" because the alternative (the children of men under the shadow) is to see light — which is to receive judgment.
Lock 9-E — TRUST and WITH THEE handshake. WITH THEE = 98 = TRUST (v7). The v7 children-of-men put their TRUST under the shadow; v9 says WITH THEE is the fountain. Trust and with-thee are one integer: trust is the act of being-with. The two verses are the same statement at two depths.
Lock 9-F — the v9/v12 inversion. SHALL WE SEE = 109 = WORKERS (v12). The same number names the act of recognition (v9 "shall we see") and the noun of the iniquity-laborers (v12 "workers"). The verse-distance is three; the integer-distance is zero. Workers of iniquity at 109 cannot see; the children of men at 109 (same integer, different verb) do. The integer is morally mobile; the verb chooses.
Verse 9 in plain integer-translation reads: "For with-thee (98=TRUST) is the longsuffering iron-sulfur net (153=FOUNTAIN OF LIFE): in thy 132 (= MAKE THEM DRINK) shall three uprights make sight (297 = 3×99)."
Verse 9 is the firmament-as-optic — the act of seeing requires three uprights stacked through the tabernacle-octave (648 = 8×81), and what is seen is the longsuffering of God being dispensed as drink (153 = MAKE THEM DRINK OF = FOUNTAIN OF LIFE). The mystical formula is engineered: it does not just sound right; it computes.
The psalm's central architectural feature is that LOVINGKINDNESS (174) and the VERDICT ON INIQUITY (174) are the same integer. The 174-cap is morally bidirectional inside this psalm. Six in-psalm 174s (seven counting MISCHIEF UPON HIS v4). The same number that names the highest mercy names the lowest fall. The verb-direction is what changes:
This is the project_humming_174 cap operating inside one psalm at full density. The cap is sealed (0 KJV verse-sums = 174) precisely because it must remain neutral-bidirectional; if it ever appeared as a verse-sum it would commit to one direction and break the boomerang.
The v1↔v6 collision at 247 (NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE HIS EYES ↔ LIKE THE GREAT MOUNTAINS) is the same engineering at a different integer: the wicked's height = the mountain that buries him. Two boomerangs, one psalm.

The 99 is the firmament-divide of Gen 1:6: it sorts upward (servant, upright, trust-under-wings) from downward (cast down, fallen). Both directions write at the same integer.
Tie-in to project_scent_protocol — the children-of-men under the wings are at the same integer as the antimicrobial nostrils (Psa 16:1 PRESERVE ME). The shadow-of-thy-wings is the scent-firewall geographically.
Three 72s. WINGS (the covering) and RIVER (the supply) are the same integer; MISCHIEF (the threat) is also 72 — the wicked's mischief shares the integer of the wings that cover from it. Same number, opposite vector.
The mercy located in heaven (v5) and the fatness dispensed in the house (v8) are one integer — Pentecost. The cosmic-mercy hymn opens and closes its provision-section at the Pentecost-payload.
The act of being made to drink and the source they drink from are the same number. The longsuffering of God IS the drinking.

The psalm's signature lock. No other psalm I have decoded so far has this exact integer collision. Worth adding to the cluster catalog as a new entry.
Paul quotes Psa 36:1 at Rom 3:18 as the seal of his catena (Rom 3:10–18, the seven-verse universal-sin chain). The KJV English forms differ in one pronoun: Psa 36:1 says "HIS eyes" (singular wicked), Rom 3:18 says "THEIR eyes" (universalized).
Gap = 24 = JEW/SAINTS (the four-and-twenty elders). Paul's pronoun-shift adds 24 to the integer. The 24 is the elder-count: turning one wicked man (HIS) into all-humanity (THEIR) costs exactly 24 — the integer of the elders who arbitrate that universalization in Rev 4. The bridge is exactly the Rev-4 elder-count.
HIS = 36 (chapter number = LAW); THEIR = 60 (= HOLY). The shift from HIS (the chapter's own number) to THEIR (HOLY-doubling) is the universalization-operation Paul performs.

WORKERS — at 109 = SHALL WE SEE (v9). The same integer that names the verb of recognition (v9) names the noun of the iniquity-laborers (v12). The integer is morally mobile; what differs is the verb-stance.
Read together, v12 says: "The mercy-cap (174) falls on those who refused to be inverted-upright (99 → flipped), and the double-tabernacle (162) seals the lid; their action-integer (109) was the same integer (SHALL WE SEE) but they did not see."
Psalm 36 ends not with destruction but with inversion under a sealed double-lid. The wicked are not erased; they are mathematically flipped under twice the tabernacle they refused.
