Psalm 20 is structurally a blessing formula deployed over the king before battle. The integer that carries this is 144 — and the psalm contains the 144 lock three times:

Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
The terminal verse is structurally a reversal-of-blessing. Verses 1–6 are people→king ("The LORD hear thee"). Verse 9 is people→God-toward-king ("let the king hear us"). The integer machinery resolves this reversal:
SAVE LORD — at integer 96 = RETURN. The closing-call is structurally a return-call. The king's saving-out (v1–6) and the people's saving-in (v9) meet at the RETURN integer.
LET THE KING HEAR US — at integer 183 = SAVING STRENGTH (v6). The clause that asks the king to hear the people carries the same integer as God's saving strength. The people's plea = the saving strength.
THE KING — at integer 74 = JESUS = CROSS = MENORAH = CHARIOT. The closing-verse king is the Christic integer.
HEAR US — at integer 72 = WINGS = STILL = COVERED = MERCIES. The plea to be heard lands on the covering/flight integer — the same MERCIES integer from Psa 89:1 ("I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever").

Read together, v9 says: "[Return-cry, 96]: let the [Christic king, 74] [be the saving-strength, 183] toward us at the [mercies/wings integer, 72] in the [hour of return, 106]."
The psalm is the resolution of the king-blessing-people pattern (v1–6) into the people-pleading-toward-the-king reversal (v9), at the integers RETURN (96) and SAVING STRENGTH (183). The king's hearing IS the people's saving. The same circuit runs in both directions.
