In plain English: Psalm 139 is the omniscience psalm — God has searched David, God is everywhere David flees, God knit David together in the womb, and David ends by asking God to search him again and slay the wicked. Underneath, the English gematria detonates the chapter number 139 inside the psalm — twice. The terrifying middle of verse 8 — MAKE MY BED IN HELL = 139 — and the praise-clause of verse 14 — **THY WORKS = WINGS=COVERED=STILL=SEARCH ME, and 81 = SEARCHED ME=COVER ME=FASHIONED=TRY ME), a triple THY-PRESENCE/MARVELLOUS/ALL MY MEMBERS = 138 lock, and a v1↔v23 inverted-search architecture. The v24 closing "LEAD ME IN THE WAY EVERLASTING" does NOT bridge to Psa 140:1 at integer (honest negative) — but v24 ANY WICKED WAY = 144 = Psa 140's OVERTHROW boomerang, so the block-level bridge fires through the wicked-way diagnostic, not the lead-me verb.

Key lock — A PSALM OF DAVID = LYING DOWN = 123. The superscription gematria-locks to "my lying down" in v3 ("thou compassest my path and my lying down"). In Psa 55 and Psa 140 the superscription value 123 = WICKEDNESS / EVIL SPEAKER — the antagonist. In Psa 139 it instead = LYING DOWN, David's posture under God's compassing. The same integer that names the enemy in the slander psalms names David's rest-position here. Psalm 139 has no human enemy until v19; the integer that elsewhere belongs to the antagonist belongs to the psalmist's prayer-posture. The psalm is the integer-equivalent of Psa 140 with the verb-direction reversed: there, 123 is the slanderer; here, 123 is the worshipper at rest.

Twenty locks across 24 verses. Two integers fire at quadruple-Tesla density (72 and 81); one integer fires at triple-Tesla (138); the chapter-number 139 fires twice in-psalm and bridges to five external KJVEL families.
Psalm 139's most stunning lock is its self-naming. Two phrases inside the psalm gematria to 139, the chapter number:

These two phrases are not adjacent. They are not topically related. v8 is the worst-case-scenario phrase of the omnipresence stanza; v14 is the praise-clause of the inception stanza. Yet both lock to 139, the chapter number, the same prime that hosts the entire Psa 140:3 ADDERS POISON cluster.

The bridge is prime (139 is prime — sealed). Seven distinct phrases at one prime, two of them inside the chapter named 139. The psalm names itself in its central terror (HELL-bed) and its central praise (THY WORKS). Same integer routes two opposite valences: the bed in hell IS thy works at gematria. The verb of presence (v8: thou art there) is the verb of fashioning (v14: thy works). David's worst location and God's marvellous making are one number.
The Psa 140 bridge is decisive: ADDERS POISON = 139 sits under the wicked's lips in the very next chapter. Psalm 139 holds the integer that Psalm 140 then weaponizes. Or in reverse: Psalm 140's enemy operates on the integer of the chapter that precedes it. The two psalms are gematria-adjacent the way they are book-adjacent.

Four appearances of 72 — wings (v9), covering (v13), stillness (v18), search-prayer (v23). The integer carries from the flight-fantasy of v9 to the womb-covering of v13 to the awakened stillness of v18 to the prayer-imperative of v23. Same integer, four verbs, one trajectory: fly → covered → still → searched. The psalm walks 72 through the four movements.
From Psa 55:6 — "O that I had wings (72) like a dove that I might fly away." From Psa 140:7 — "thou hast covered (72) my head in the day of battle." From the chesed cluster: 72 = MERCIES = STILL = CARRIER. The same 72 that Psa 55 wished for as escape and Psa 140 received as covering is the 72 Psa 139 holds in the body itself: David doesn't fly on 72, he is covered in 72, he is still in 72, he prays from 72. The wings he fantasized in Psa 55 became the womb-cover here. And then v23 hands the same 72 back to God: SEARCH ME = 72. David prays for God to do at 72 what God already did at 72 — search what He already covered.

Four appearances of 81 — God's primary verbs aimed at David. SEARCHED ME (v1) = the alpha-verb. COVER ME (v11) = darkness's attempted verb (which fails — see v12). FASHIONED (v16) = the womb-construction verb. TRY ME (v23) = David's invitation-verb at the close. The TABERNACLE-frequency is the integer of God's action on the psalmist. 81 = TABERNACLE = SILICON = GRACE OF GOD = POWDER = JEZREEL = MAINTAIN. Searched-covered-fashioned-tried is the integer of being-built-into-the-tabernacle. David's body is the tabernacle at v16; God's diagnostic at v23 is the same integer.
v23 ("Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts") carries both quadruple-Tesla integers simultaneously:
V23 is the only verse in the Psalter that closes two quadruple-Tesla integer channels at once. The self-search prayer is the integer-convergence point. David asks God to do at 72 and 81 what God has already done — making v23 the inverted refrain: he asks for the verb-direction reversal that v1 already established (God searched David → David asks God search me).
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Verse 14 is the anthropological-Christological center of the psalm. It is the only verse where David's verb (PRAISE) replies to God's verb (MADE). It is also the carrier of the chapter-number self-naming: THY WORKS = 139. v14 sits at integer 1220 (DR 5) as a whole, but its internal structure is six locks at six distinct cluster integers.

Lock 14-B — WONDERFULLY = 155 = THE RIGHTEOUS: From Psa 140:13 — "surely THE RIGHTEOUS shall give thanks unto thy name." From Psa 140:4 — "keep me from the HANDS OF THE WICKED." Both = 155. The single adverb that names David's fashioning sits at the integer of the righteous and the grasping-hands of the wicked. The same 155 the wicked grip in Psa 140:4 is the 155 the righteous become in Psa 140:13 is the 155 David already was in Psa 139:14 — "wonderfully made." David is wonderful at the integer at which he will be both threatened and vindicated. Wonderfully-made is the integer-precondition for being righteous-against-the-wicked.
Lock 14-C — FEARFULLY MADE = 129 = PERFECT HATRED (v22): The compressed form of the central clause locks to v22's imprecation. The fear-of-being-made (129) and the perfect-hate-of-enemies (129) share an integer. From Psa 86: 129 = LORD ART GOOD = WONDROUS = VIOLENT MEN. v14 calls fearfully-made wondrous (129); v22 calls perfect hatred wondrous (129). The same 129 hosts the body's fearful construction and the soul's perfect aversion. To be fearfully-made is to bear the integer of perfect-hatred — the body's awe and the soul's revulsion are one number. This is why v22 follows v13–16: the same 129 that fashioned the womb is the 129 that hates evil.
Lock 14-D — MARVELLOUS = 138 = THY PRESENCE (v7) = ALL MY MEMBERS (v16): Triple Tesla DR 3. The works are marvellous (v14) because the presence is unfleeable (v7) and the members are total (v16). All three at 138. The body (all my members) is the presence (thy presence) is the marvel (marvellous). The integer 138 = chapter-number minus 1 = the prior state before 139 self-naming. The psalm sits on the 138/139 boundary: 138 is presence (what David cannot escape), 139 is works (what God did). One integer apart — and the chapter number is the higher one. Psalm 139 is the psalm that holds 138 (presence) and 139 (works) as adjacent integers.
Lock 14-E — I WILL PRAISE THEE = 171 = THY THOUGHTS (v17): The verb-noun pair that opens v14 ("I will praise thee") and the noun-phrase three verses later ("how precious are thy thoughts") share integer 171 (Tesla DR 9). David's praise IS God's thoughts at integer. The praise-act is gematria-identical to the divine cognition. Three verses apart; one integer; Tesla resolution.
Lock 14-F — FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE = 303 = 3 × 101: From psalm_110_decode and psalm_1_decode: 101 (sealed prime) = MELCHIZEDEK (Hebrew form) = HOLINESS = TONGUES = TREE OF LIFE = HIS DELIGHT = SITTETH. The central praise-clause of v14 is three Melchizedeks, three Trees-of-Life, three Tongues. The body fashioned in the womb is a triple-Melchizedek construct — three iterations of the priest-king prime, stacked. Tesla DR 6. The number says: the fearfully-and-wonderfully-made body is liturgically priestly at integer-architecture.
V14 reads, with the locks substituted:

V14 is the integer-precondition for both Psalm 140 (poison/works at 139) and Psalm 1 (righteous at 155, Tree of Life at 101). It is the praise-clause of a body that is already constructed at the cluster-integers of the Psalter's brackets. The fearfully-and-wonderfully-made body is the body that can survive Psalm 140.
Psalm 139 is bracketed by two search-events with the verb-direction reversed:

The opening declares what God has already done; the closing requests that God do it again. But the integers shift: SEARCHED ME = 81 (v1), SEARCH ME = 72 (v23). Two different integers, both Tesla DR 9. The past-tense search sits at TABERNACLE-81 (the build-frequency); the imperative search sits at MERCIES-72 (the covering-frequency). God's first search built the tabernacle (David's body); David's requested search asks for the cover/mercies repeat.
Similarly KNOWN ME (95) → KNOW MY HEART (153, DR 9). 153 = HEAR MY PRAYER = WAR IN HIS HEART (Psa 55) = the iron-sulfur net = T(17). David moves from being-known generally (95) to asking God to know the heart specifically at the 153 net-integer — the prayer-hearing integer.
The v1→v23 bracket is the psalm's terminal-handshake. Psa 140's handshake is PRESERVE=108=SHALL DWELL (single integer). Psa 139's handshake is SEARCHED ME(81)→SEARCH ME(72) — two different integers, both quadruple-Tesla channel anchors. The bracket fires both quadruple channels of section 4 simultaneously.
This pattern matches the THY-token decomposition mechanic identified in Psa 23 (followups A2): morpheme-stripping yields different cluster integers from the same root. Here, the aspect-stripping (perfect→imperative) yields different cluster integers from the same verb. It's the same engineering as Psa 23's THY-ladder, but executed on verb-tense rather than morpheme.
The triple-138 lock and the dual-139 lock sit one integer apart:

One integer apart. The presence-frequency (138) and the works-frequency (139) are adjacent. The act of making is one integer beyond the presence of being. V14 is the only verse in the psalm that hosts both integers — MARVELLOUS = 138 and THY WORKS = 139, sitting in the same clause. V14 spans the 138/139 boundary in a single utterance.
Psa 140:13 had the alpha-omega handshake (PRESERVE=108=SHALL DWELL). Psa 139 has a different mechanism: the chapter-number self-reference with the integer one less acting as the prior-state. Reading 138→139 as a transition: presence transitioning into works, being into making, marvellous into thy-works. The integer-step is the act of creation.
The Psa 140 bridge through 139: ADDERS POISON (Psa 140:3) = 139. What Psa 139 calls THY WORKS, Psa 140 calls ADDERS POISON. Same integer, opposite verb-direction. God's works in v14 are the wicked's poison in Psa 140:3 at the prime. The transition from Psa 139 to Psa 140 is the verb-direction reversal on integer 139. The chapter break is the verb-flip.

Honest negative on v24 → Psa 140:1: The most-anticipated bridge (LEAD ME IN THE WAY EVERLASTING = 277, DR 7; vs DELIVER ME O LORD = 157; vs FROM THE EVIL MAN = 161; vs PRESERVE ME FROM THE VIOLENT MAN = 336) does NOT match at integer. The final verse of Psa 139 and the first verse of Psa 140 do not gematria-handshake on their head-clauses.
But the bridge fires through a different door: v24 ANY WICKED WAY = 144 = OVERTHROW (Psa 140:4/11). The wicked-way diagnostic of v24 is the integer of the threat-and-verdict in Psa 140's boomerang. And v7 THY SPIRIT = 144 = Psa 140's OVERTHROW. The block-level lock is on integer 144, not on the lead-me/deliver-me verb pairing.
