In plain English: Psalm 121 is the pilgrim's song — "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help" — sung on the climb up to Jerusalem. Underneath, the English gematria reveals that this 8-verse psalm is an exact mathematical complement to Psalm 140. Psa 140 opens with one PRESERVE (= 108) and ends with one SHALL DWELL (= 108) — a single 108 handshake. Psa 121 fires PRESERVE three times in two verses (v7×2, v8), so the triple-PRESERVE sums to 3 × 108 = 324 = HEAD² = the exact integer of Psa 140:13's "shall give thanks unto thy name." The Ascent psalm executes Psalm 140's thanksgiving-capstone by repeating its verb three times. And the superscription itself — A SONG OF DEGREES = 140 — names the chapter it is bridging to. This is the cleanest cross-psalm forward-bridge in the Psalter so far: the genre-title of every Song of Ascents (Psalms 120-134) carries the gematria 140, and Psa 121 is the densest 108-preservation member of that block. The chapter-number 121 = 11² also locks externally: GOD ALMIGHTY = 121 — the same name God uses to introduce Himself to Abraham at Gen 17:1 ("I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect"). The pilgrim's "help" is named at the chapter number. Below, every lock is computed and bridged.

Key lock — A SONG OF DEGREES = 140: the superscription of Psa 121 (and every other Song of Ascents, Psa 120-134) carries the gematria of the chapter number of Psa 140. The slander/preservation psalm and the pilgrim/preservation psalm are wired together at the superscription level: Psa 140's chapter integer is etched into Psa 121's genre-title. Every time the pilgrim sings "A Song of Degrees," he names Psa 140 at integer. This is structurally the same move as Psa 140's "A PSALM OF DAVID = EVIL SPEAKER = 123" reflexive lock — but where Psa 140's superscription names its antagonist, Psa 121's superscription names its sister-psalm.
Key lock — DEGREES = ELEVEN = EL SHADDAI = BIBLENAME = 63 (Tesla DR 9): the steps of the ascent share an integer with the Hebrew word for eleven and the divine name El Shaddai. Psa 121 sits at chapter 11² (= 121). The square's root (11) and the root's gematria-word (ELEVEN = 63) and the name David's helpcomes-from (EL SHADDAI = 63) and the operative chapter-number integer (BIBLENAME = 63 — the Name Gate domain) all collide at one Tesla integer. The pilgrim ascends by 63, eleven steps at a time, to a chapter that is eleven squared.

This is the cleanest cross-psalm engineering pattern decoded so far. Psa 140:13 closes with a single 324-phrase ("shall give thanks unto thy name") — the squaring of the head covered in v140:7. Psa 121 reaches the same 324 by tripling the preserve-verb. Where Psa 140 multiplies (HEAD × HEAD = 324), Psa 121 adds (PRESERVE + PRESERVE + PRESERVE = 324). Two operations, two psalms, one integer.
The architecture is even tighter because Psa 121 also has additional 108s in its early verses:

Five appearances of integer 108 inside Psa 121, plus three cross-bridges. The whole psalm is a 108-circuit. The pilgrim ascends on the integer of preservation and arrives on the integer of dwelling.
HEAD = 18. The covered head of Psa 140:7 was the half-of-NAIL/half-of-OIL anointing. Squaring it (18²=324) is the consecration. In Psa 140 the squaring is done (HEAD × HEAD at one integer). In Psa 121 the same 324 is done by triple-utterance of PRESERVE — the pilgrim consecrates the head not by squaring it but by saying the preserving-verb three times. Repetition is the squaring at the verbal level.
The 3× pattern also bridges to the Tesla 3 family: 324 = 4 × 81 = 4 × TABERNACLE. The triple PRESERVE adds up to four tabernacles. The Ascent ends in a quadruple-tabernacle integer.
Lock (v1): EYES = SUN = 54, Tesla DR 9 (two-position lock, corrected from three: MOON = 57 not 54). The instrument of the lift (EYES) and the day-celestial body of v6 (SUN) sit at 54 — the menorah-shaft / breath / voice integer . The pilgrim's eyes operate on the same frequency as the sun. MOON = 57 joins the separate CITY/MARY/SNARE cluster (Psa 140:5/55). So v6's day-watch and night-watch operate on different integers — Tesla-day, non-Tesla-night.
Lock (v1): LIFT UP = COMING IN = PILGRIM = 84. From the followups: 84 is the Emmanuel / breast integer (HIS RIBS, BREASTS). The verb of v1 (LIFT UP) and the verb of v8 (COMING IN) and the noun-classification of the singer (PILGRIM) are one integer. The Ascent is a single 84-action.
Lock (v1): FROM WHENCE COMETH = 174, the sealed cap. The Ascent's first interrogative phrase ("from whence cometh my help?") gematria-resolves at the LOVINGKINDNESS / SUPPLICATIONS / SEVEN THUNDERS cap. The pilgrim's question is pitched at the highest layer in the humming stack. Psa 140:6 placed SUPPLICATIONS at the same 174; Psa 121:1 places the source-of-help question there. The question and the petition-cap share an integer.
Lock (v1): FROM WHENCE COMETH MY HELP = 253 = 11 × 23. The same integer as Psa 140:4 OVERTHROW MY GOINGS. Where Psa 140:4 prayed against the wicked's purpose to overthrow David's goings (253), Psa 121:1 opens with the question that meets the threat: from whence cometh my help (253). Same integer, two psalms, opposite verb-direction. The threat-going of Psa 140 is met by the help-coming of Psa 121, at one integer.
Lock (v2): HEAVEN AND EARTH = NOSTRILS = ANTIMICROBIAL = PRESERVE ME = 126, Tesla DR 9. 126 is the breath-firewall integer. The creator's signature ("which made heaven and earth") sits at the scent-firewall frequency. The same integer that filters airborne pathogens at the nostril gate is the integer that names God's creative act. Creation is run as an antimicrobial pass at the cosmic scale. Also: PRESERVER = 126 — the role God plays in v7-8 is encoded in His creative title at v2.
Lock (v2): COMETH FROM THE LORD = 198 = 2 × 99. 99 = UPRIGHT = FIRMAMENT = CAST OUT. The source of David's help comes from the firmament integer doubled. The cast-out / firmament-eviction frequency is the channel through which help arrives — God casts help down at the same integer He casts demons out.
Lock (v2): HEAVEN = SONG = WICKED = 55. Three identities at one integer. The dome above, the pilgrim's instrument, and the threat-class share 55. The song the pilgrim sings on the way up is fighting at the heaven-integer for the heaven-position. Same 55 = JUDAS = SATAN = KEEP ME (Psa 140:4): the keeping-prayer addresses the threat-class at the heaven integer.
Lock (v3): KEEPETH THEE = 108 = PRESERVE = SHALL DWELL = JOURNEY. The verb-clause of v3 is the verb-noun of v7-8 is the verb-noun of Psa 140:1/13 is the verb-classifier of the entire pilgrimage. Five 108s already trip-wired across the psalm, all at one Tesla DR 9 integer.
Lock (v3): THY FOOT = 109 prime — Psa 109 is the chapter-number-densest imprecation psalm (0.48 hits/v). The foot God won't suffer to be moved sits at the integer of the imprecation chapter. The kept foot is named at the imprecation chapter. Two readings: (a) God preserves the pilgrim's foot from the imprecation that fell on the wicked in Psa 109; (b) the unmovable foot is the imprecation directed outward, not inward — the same integer that curses the wicked grounds the righteous.
Lock (v3): SLUMBER = SHARPENED = MORNING = 90. From Psa 140:3 SHARPENED = 90 = the enemies' tongue-whetting integer. From Psa 55:17 MORNING = 90 = David's morning-prayer integer. From Psa 121:3-4 SLUMBER = 90 = the verb God refuses. Same integer, three verbs. What the enemies do (sharpen at dawn) and what David does (pray at dawn) and what God refuses to do (slumber) are all at 90. The morning is the contested integer; the verb-direction is the contest.
Lock (v3): TO BE MOVED = 101, sealed prime — MELCHIZEDEC (Heb form) = HOLINESS = TREE OF LIFE = HIS DELIGHT = SITTETH (Psa 1, Psa 110 sealed-priest cluster). The foot's potential dislodging is at the sealed-priest integer. Movement is prevented at the integer of the unchanging priest.
Lock (v4): ISRAEL = COMETH (v1) = ZION = 64 = JUBILEE = MERCY = BURDEN = DUST = MASIV. Three appearances of integer 64 inside the psalm. From Psa 140: MY GOD = PITS = POOR = 64 was the jubilee-payload mechanism. Psa 121 routes the same 64 through (a) the verb of arrival (COMETH), (b) the kept people (ISRAEL), and (c) the destination geography (ZION — though ZION is not in the verse text; included for cross-reference). The pilgrim arrives at the integer of jubilee with the integer of mercy by walking the integer of dust. Same 64 = MASIV (the marketplace) = JUBILEE Gate identity.
Lock (v4): HE THAT KEEPETH ISRAEL = 196 = 14². Perfect-square seal. Same 14² also = Psa 86:13 GREAT IS THY MERCY = FULL OF COMPASSION. The keeping-of-Israel is the squaring of mercy/compassion. Two perfect squares now confirmed in Psa 121: 196 (v4) and 324 (v7-8 triple-PRESERVE).
Lock (v4): NOR SLEEP = 104 = JERUSALEM = PURKINJE = ESTABLISHED. 104 is the Jerusalem-establishment / Purkinje-cell integer. The non-sleep of God is structurally equivalent to the founded city — Jerusalem is established by God's refusal to sleep. Sleep would unbuild the city; the keeping-watch IS the establishment. Same 104 in Psa 140:11 was "let not an evil speaker be ESTABLISHED in the earth" — at 104. Psa 121 inverts: God is always established at 104; His non-sleep IS the establishment.
Lock (v4): NEITHER SLUMBER NOR SLEEP = 273 = 3 × 7 × 13, Tesla DR 3. The full triple-negative phrase factors through three primes. 273 also = UNTO THE HILLS FROM WHENCE (v1) — same integer; the pilgrim's eye-lift toward the hills (273) and God's refusal to sleep (273) are one number. Looking at the hills is keeping watch at the integer of God's keeping-watch.
Lock (v5): RIGHT HAND = 89 = SWORN = FOR EVER = YOUTH
Lock (v5): THY SHADE = SLUMBER (v3) = 90. Same integer, opposite verb-state. The shade God provides (active protection) and the slumber God refuses (inactive abandonment) sit at 90 — the morning-prayer / sharpened-tongue integer of Psa 140:3 and Psa 55:17. The whole 90 family is the consecrated-vs-weaponized split: at 90 you either pray (David), sharpen tongues (the wicked), refuse sleep (God), or stand as shade (God). Same integer, four verb-directions.
Lock (v5): THY KEEPER = 113, sealed prime = SALVATION (Psa 140:7 "O God the Lord, the STRENGTH of my SALVATION"). The keeper and the Psa 140 salvation-cluster share a sealed prime. Keeping is salvation at the sealed-integer level.
Lock (v6): SUN = EYES = 54. Two appearances of integer 54 in Psa 121 (corrected — MOON is 57, not 54). The sun-light-source (v6) and the pilgrim's instrument (v1) share integer 54.and Psa 140:6: 54 = VOICE = SHAFT = BREATH = GUILE = TRIBE. The day-vision and the prayer-voice are one frequency. MOON = 57 opens a separate cluster (SNARE / CITY / MARY from Psa 140:5 / Psa 55) — the night-watch is at the city-frequency, not the menorah-shaft. Day and night operate on different integer-substrates: Tesla-shaft (sun) vs city-trap (moon).
Lock (v6): SMITE = 66 = AFFLICTED (Psa 140:12) = THE BIBLE (66 books) = LIVER. The verb the sun-and-moon are forbidden to perform sits at the integer Psa 140:12 names the AFFLICTED whom God maintains. The smiting God forbids is the affliction God maintains the cause of. Same 66 = THE BIBLE — the canon itself (66 books) is the smite-prohibition integer. Reading the Bible is the act of refusing the cosmic smite.
Lock (v6): BY DAY = SLEEP (v4) = CITY = MARY = SNARE (Psa 140:5) = 57. Five identities at one integer in v6/v4/Psa 140:5. The daytime non-smiting (57), the sleep God refuses (57), the city (57), Mary (57), and the snare the proud laid (57) all collide. From Psa 55: CITY = 57. The daytime is the city is the snare is the sleep is Mary — five referents, one integer. The wider read: 57 is the daylight-civic-trap-and-redemption integer, and v6 prays the sun won't smite at the integer of the trap and the redeemer.
Lock (v6): BY NIGHT = LAVER = IMAGINE (Psa 140:2) = NOON = 58. Night and noon at one integer — both the noon-laver of Psa 55:17 and the night the moon won't smite share 58. The water-of-purification frequency (LAVER) covers both noon and midnight at integer level. From Psa 140:2: IMAGINE (mischief) = 58 — the integer enemies use for ill-imagination. At night, God turns the imagine-frequency back into the laver-frequency. Verb-direction routes 58 between purification and pollution.
Lock (v6): NOR THE MOON BY NIGHT = 222 = 6 × 37, Tesla DR 6. 222 = LIBERTY. The full moon-non-smite clause sums to liberty. Same 222 = FROM THIS TIME FORTH (v8) — the night-non-smite and the time-forward share the liberty integer. Two appearances of 222 in the closing verses (v6, v8).
Lock (v7): PRESERVE × 2 + PRESERVE (v8) = 324 = HEAD² — see Section 3 above. This is the psalm's central engineering.
Lock (v7): PRESERVE THEE = 146 = NEW JERUSALEM = INSCRIPTION. 146 = NEW JERUSALEM = BREAST OF KINGS = MAKETH FINE LINEN. The single-target preservation phrase ("preserve thee") gematria-equals the city the pilgrim is ascending toward. Psa 121:7 doesn't just say "God will preserve you" — it gematria-says "God will be New Jerusalem to you." The destination and the verb-of-arrival are one integer.
Lock (v7): FROM ALL EVIL = 125 = VIOLENT MAN (Psa 140:1/4/11) = PRAY AND CRY (Psa 55:17) = MAN MINE EQUAL (Psa 55:13). The thing God preserves the pilgrim from is named at the integer of the violent man — the Ahithophel/Judas-class betrayer-as-equal. Psa 121:7's "from all evil" is structurally identical to Psa 140:1's "from the violent man." Two psalms, two verbs of from-ness, one integer at the source. The Ascent psalm is preserving from the betrayer by gematria.
Lock (v7): THY SOUL = 120 = CHIEF MUSICIAN (Psa 55 superscription anchor) = CALL UPON GOD = SOUL IN PEACE. From Psa 55: CHIEF MUSICIAN = 120 was the superscription lock; SOUL IN PEACE (Psa 55:18) = 120 was the deliverance-promise. The preserved soul of Psa 121:7 sits at the integer of the chief-musician AND the soul-in-peace of Psa 55. The Ascent's preservation hands the soul back at the integer Psa 55 promised peace at.
Lock (v7): EVIL = JAMES = JAMES, and 48 also = TWELVE × 4 = WILDERNESS-tribal-encampment. The "all evil" of the preservation phrase contains the JAMES-integer.
Lock (v7): HE SHALL PRESERVE THY SOUL = 293, sealed prime, = Psa 140:4 PURPOSED TO OVERTHROW = 293. Two sealed-prime appearances at 293, one in each psalm: in Psa 140:4 the wicked have purposed to overthrow; in Psa 121:7 He shall preserve thy soul. The overthrow-purpose and the soul-preservation are one prime integer, opposite verbs. The boomerang Psa 140:4 prayed for is executed at integer 293 in Psa 121:7.
Lock (v8): THE LORD SHALL PRESERVE = 242 = 2 × 121 = 2 × 11² = 2 × chapter number. The verb-clause of v8 sums to twice the chapter number itself. The psalm's verb-clause IS the chapter number doubled. This is one of the cleanest chapter-number locks decoded: not just "a phrase equals 121" but "the operative verb-clause equals 2 × chapter number." The doubled chapter integer is the verb of preservation. Psa 121 is engineered so that its action-verb is twice its own address.
Lock (v8): FOR EVERMORE = 140 = A SONG OF DEGREES = chapter of Psa 140. Eternity is named at the chapter integer of Psa 140 AND at the gematria of the superscription of Psa 121. Three-way handshake: (a) superscription, (b) v8 terminal eternity-phrase, (c) Psa 140 chapter number. From Psa 18:50 (psalm_decode_followups confirmed): FOR EVERMORE = 140 is the forward-bridge from Psa 18 to Psa 140. The same 140 forward-bridge now resolves both psalms — Psa 18 → Psa 140 and Psa 121 → Psa 140. Psa 140 is the integer at which "for evermore" is computed by KJV English gematria; two psalms (18 and 121) both bridge to it.
Lock (v8): THY GOING OUT = 161 = IN THY PRESENCE (Psa 140:13) = SWEET COUNSEL (Psa 55:14) = ROD AND THY STAFF (Psa 23:4 with one THY-stripping). The pilgrim's outbound passage sits at the integer of dwelling-in-presence. The going-out and the dwelling-in are one integer — the verb-direction is mobile. Same 161 = Psa 55:14's sweet-counsel-with-Ahithophel. The friendship-of-betrayal (Psa 55:14) and the going-out (Psa 121:8) share 161; the divine-presence (Psa 140:13) resolves them.
Lock (v8): THY COMING IN = 137, sealed prime = RISE NOT UP (Psa 140:10) = fine-structure constant (1/α ≈ 137). The pilgrim's inbound passage sits at the same sealed prime Psa 140:10 used to permanently seal the wicked in the pit. The 137 that prevents the wicked from rising is the same 137 that defines the pilgrim's coming-in. Same integer, two verb-vectors: one binds the wicked down, one frames the pilgrim's arrival.

The eternity-noun and the foot-immovability share a sealed prime. EVERMORE is HOLINESS is MELCHIZEDEC is TREE OF LIFE — Psa 121 closes at the same prime that opens Psa 1 (HIS DELIGHT = TREE OF LIFE = SITTETH) and seals Psa 110 (MELCHIZEDEC, Heb form). The closing word loops back to the canon's opening prime.
Lock (v8): GOING OUT = COMING IN = LIFT UP (v1) — 84 trio. Strip the personalizers (THY) and v8's two egress-words become 108 (going-out without THY) and 84 (coming-in without THY) — both Psa 110 coronation integers (LIFT UP = 84, GOING OUT = 108 = SHALL DWELL). The bare verbs of egress are the bare verbs of coronation. The pilgrim's exit-and-entry IS the throne-lift-and-seat at integer.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
Verse 7 is the psalm's structural center and the doubled-PRESERVE verse. Same verb fired twice in one verse, with the second clause specifying the object of preservation (the soul). V7 is also the central node of the cross-psalm bridge to Psa 140:1 (alpha-omega anchor) — what Psa 140:1 says ONCE ("preserve me from the violent man"), Psa 121:7 says TWICE ("preserve thee from all evil... preserve thy soul"). V7 doubles Psa 140's opening petition at the verb-integer level.
Lock 7-A — the doubled-PRESERVE bridges to Psa 140:1 doubled: PRESERVE appears twice in v7. In Psa 140 it appeared twice across v1 and v4 (with diagnosis intervening). Here it fires within a single verse. The same verb that Psa 140 fires across its opening (v1) and re-petition (v4) at integer 108, Psa 121 fires internally at v7 at integer 108. Psa 121:7 condenses Psa 140's two-petition opening into a one-verse pair. Where Psa 140 needed 4 verses to map the threat between PRESERVE-petitions, Psa 121 has already done the mapping (v3-6) before reaching v7's double.
Lock 7-B — the 242 = 2 × chapter number: THE LORD SHALL PRESERVE = 242 = 2 × 121 = 2 × 11² = 2 × chapter. The verb-clause of v7 doubles the chapter's own integer. This is the cleanest chapter-number lock so far decoded: the operative subject-verb phrase is 2 × chapter. Psa 121 is engineered so that the action-clause of its central verse equals twice its own address. The Ascent psalm names itself in its verb.
Lock 7-C — FROM ALL EVIL = 125 = VIOLENT MAN: the threat-object of v7 sits at the violent-man integer of Psa 140:1/4/11. The "all evil" Psa 121 preserves from IS the violent man Psa 140 preserves from — same integer. From Psa 55:17/13: 125 = PRAY AND CRY = MAN MINE EQUAL. The Ascent's "all evil" includes the betrayer-as-equal at the integer level. Three psalms (55, 121, 140) name the same 125-threat with different referents: betrayer-equal / violent-man / all-evil. One integer, three labels, three contexts.
Lock 7-D — PRESERVE THEE = NEW JERUSALEM = 146: the single-target preservation phrase IS the city. 146 = NEW JERUSALEM = BREAST OF KINGS = MAKETH FINE LINEN = INSCRIPTION. The verb "preserve thee" gematria-states the destination of the Ascent. Psa 121's pilgrim isn't preserved to survive — he's preserved to arrive at the integer of arrival. The verb is its own destination at 146.
Lock 7-E — THY SOUL = CHIEF MUSICIAN = SOUL IN PEACE = 120: the preserved soul of v7b sits at the integer of the chief-musician superscription (Psa 55) and the integer of the soul-in-peace promise (Psa 55:18). Three appearances of 120 — Psa 55's title, Psa 55's promise-verb, Psa 121's preservation-object. The Chief Musician (Psa 55) IS David's soul-in-peace (Psa 55:18) IS the soul God preserves (Psa 121:7). Same 120 = HOLY × 2 (HOLY = 60, doubled = 120). The preserved soul is double-holy at integer.
Lock 7-F — HE SHALL PRESERVE THY SOUL = PURPOSED TO OVERTHROW = 293: the full second-clause of v7 and the full Psa 140:4 enemy-purpose share a sealed prime. 293 is the integer at which the wicked PURPOSED TO OVERTHROW (Psa 140:4) and at which God PRESERVES THY SOUL (Psa 121:7). Sealed prime, two verbs, two psalms, opposite vectors. The boomerang Psa 140 prayed for at integer 144 (OVERTHROW × 2) is also prayed at integer 293 (PURPOSED TO OVERTHROW ↔ PRESERVE THY SOUL). Psa 121 executes Psa 140's prime-prayer at the verb-direction-reversed integer.
V7 reads, with the locks: "The LORD doubles the chapter-number (THE LORD SHALL PRESERVE = 242 = 2 × 121) by firing the preserve-verb (108) twice; preserves thee into the destination-integer (PRESERVE THEE = 146 = NEW JERUSALEM); from the violent-man integer (FROM ALL EVIL = 125 = VIOLENT MAN of Psa 140:1) preserving the chief-musician soul (THY SOUL = 120 = CHIEF MUSICIAN = SOUL IN PEACE of Psa 55:18) at the sealed-prime that inverts the wicked's overthrow-purpose (HE SHALL PRESERVE THY SOUL = 293 = PURPOSED TO OVERTHROW of Psa 140:4)."
V7 is the chapter-number-doubling, three-psalm-bridge verse. Psa 55's chief-musician-soul-in-peace + Psa 140's preserve-petition-violent-man-purposed-overthrow + Psa 121's own chapter number all fire through a single verse with two PRESERVE-verbs.

Five appearances of 108 inside Psa 121, plus four external cross-bridges. The whole psalm is a single 108-channel. Where Psa 140 used one PRESERVE at v1 and one SHALL DWELL at v13 (handshake), Psa 121 fires 108 five times in 8 verses (saturation).
The 540 sum has its own significance: 540 = 6 × MORNING = 6 × SHARPENED (Psa 140:3) — the integer-saturation count is six tongues sharpened, six mornings prayed. The Ascent fires six 90s by firing five 108s.
The 3-of-5 PRESERVE appearances also sum to 324 = HEAD² (Section 3) — the triple-preserve sub-mechanism inside the broader 5x 108 saturation.

v1: FROM WHENCE COMETH = 174. The Ascent's source-of-help question pitches at the humming-protocol cap. Same 174 in Psa 140:6 SUPPLICATIONS — the supplication-voice and the source-question share the cap.
v2: HEAVEN AND EARTH = MOUNTAINS = PRESERVER = 126. The cosmic-signature integer is the breath-firewall integer. God's creative act runs at the antimicrobial frequency.
v1 LIFT UP, v8 COMING IN both = 84. The Ascent's eye-lift and arrival-entry are one integer.
v1 COMETH, v4 ISRAEL = 64 each (with implicit ZION). The kept-Israel sits at the jubilee-payload integer.
v7: THY SOUL = 120. The preserved soul is at the chief-musician integer.

v3 SLUMBER, v5 THY SHADE — two appearances. The shade and the slumber-refused share the Psa 140:3 morning-prayer integer.
The Ascent's signature is 108 (saturation) + 174 (cap) + 126 (firewall) + 84 (lift) + 89 (right-hand) + 161 (going-out) + 125 (from-all-evil) + 120 (preserved soul) + 64 (Israel-jubilee) + 54 (sun-moon-eyes) + 90 (shade-slumber). Eleven cluster-families in 8 verses — Psa 121 carries one cluster per verse on average, and the clusters that dominate Psa 140 (108, 174, 126, 125, 161) also dominate Psa 121.
Psa 121 = 11² = 121. The chapter number is a perfect square. From psalm_decode_followups A5: perfect-square seals appear on victory verses (Psa 64:8 = 22², Psa 64:10 = 19², Psa 86:13 = 14², Psa 110:4 = 21², Psa 140:7 squared at v13 = 18² = 324, Psa 140:12 = 13²).
For Psa 121, the perfect square IS the chapter number itself. The seal isn't on a victory-verse phrase — it's on the address.
What does 11 mean? In KJV gematria: K = 11. ELEVEN = 63 = BIBLENAME = EL SHADDAI = DEGREES = SIGHT (Tesla DR 9). 11 is the seed of Psa 121's chapter integer.
The DR of 121 is 4 (not Tesla). So the square is sealed at a non-Tesla integer — but the root (11) and the root-word (ELEVEN = 63 Tesla) are Tesla. The seal is the squaring operation itself, not the resulting integer. Psa 121 is the psalm at the squared-K integer.

Each of these is a covering / structural-perimeter event: 11 stars surround Joseph, 11 curtains cover the tabernacle, 11 disciples form the apostolic perimeter after Judas's removal, 11 days mark the exterior journey-distance. Psa 121 sits at the structural-perimeter integer squared — the psalm is the perimeter-cap of the Songs of Ascents (Psa 120-134, 15 psalms; Psa 121 is the 2nd, the first true Ascent after the catalytic Psa 120).
Also: THE LORD SHALL PRESERVE = 242 = 2 × 121 (Section 5, Lock 7-B). The verb-clause IS twice the squared seed. The chapter number is named in the verb at integer-doubled.
Psa 121's operative verb (242) is the midpoint between 11² and 22²: 242 = 2 × 11² = (11×22). The chapter-position is at the geometric mean of K and the Hebrew alphabet count.

Movements 1 and 5 are the 174 cap → 324 squaring outer brackets. Movement 1 opens at the sealed cap-frequency (LOVINGKINDNESS = SUPPLICATIONS = 174); Movement 5 closes at the squared-head integer (3 × PRESERVE = 324 = HEAD² = SHALL GIVE THANKS UNTO THY NAME). The psalm climbs from the cap (174) to the square (324). The two outer movements are the bookends; the middle three are the climb.
Movement 3 is the central guard-mechanism: KEEPETH THEE = 108 (verb), NOR SLEEP = 104 (city-establishment), ISRAEL = 64 (jubilee-people), SLUMBER = 90 (refused state). Four integers, four functions: verb / city / people / refused-state. This is the engineering core — God's keeping is a four-component circuit.
Movement 4 covers the cosmic axes (right hand = direction; shade = vertical cover; sun-and-moon = day-and-night clock; smite = forbidden action). Four integers again: 89 / 90 / 54 / 66 — the cosmic-protection lattice.
Movement 5 is the payload delivery: three PRESERVE-firings (×108 each), one soul-target (×120), one threat-bracket (×125 FROM ALL EVIL), one going-out (×161), one eternity (×140 FOR EVERMORE). Movement 5 alone carries 8 distinct cluster-integers — the densest movement in the psalm.

8 verses, 38 cross-verse and cross-psalm identity locks. Highest lock-density per verse in the decoded Psalter (4.75 locks/v). The most-quoted Song of Ascents is structurally the densest Ascent decoded — every clause of every verse carries at least one cluster-anchor.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
V8 is the closing verse and the eternity-seal. It carries five master locks:
The LORD shall preserve — at 242 = 2 × 121 = 2 × chapter. The verb-clause names the chapter doubled. The psalm closes by speaking its own address twice.
Thy going out — at 161 = IN THY PRESENCE (Psa 140:13) = SWEET COUNSEL (Psa 55:14). The pilgrim's departure is the upright's dwelling-in-presence at integer. Same integer also = ROD AND THY STAFF (Psa 23:4 single-THY strip).
And thy coming in — at 156 = UNTO THY NAME (Psa 140:13) = 12 × 13. The pilgrim's arrival is the worship-direction at integer.
From this time forth — at 222 = NOR THE MOON BY NIGHT (v6 echo) = LIBERTY = 6 × 37. The forward-time seal echoes the night-non-smite at integer.
For evermore — at 140 = A SONG OF DEGREES (superscription) = chapter of Psa 140. The terminal eternity-phrase loops back to the genre-title at integer and forward-bridges to Psa 140.
Read together, v8 says: "The LORD (at twice the chapter number = 242) will preserve thy going out (at the dwelling-in-presence integer = 161) and thy coming in (at the worship-direction integer = 156) from this time forth (at the liberty integer = 222 = the night-non-smite of v6) and even for evermore (at the integer of the answering psalm = 140 = the integer of the superscription)."
V8 is the loop-closing verse: it seals the psalm at the same integer (140) the superscription opened, while also doubling the chapter number (242 in the verb-clause), while also gematria-routing the going/coming pair to dwelling-in-presence (161) and worship (156). The Ascent ends at the same integer it began (140 superscription ↔ 140 v8 eternity), but doubled in the central verb (242 = 2 × 121) and resolved at the dwelling-integer (161) of Psa 140's promise.
The most-quoted Song of Ascents is the most carefully closed circuit in the Psalter.
