Leah is the unloved wife, the tender-eyed one, the one whose womb keeps opening. Her third son is named LEVI ("joined") because, as she says in Genesis 29:34, "Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons." The word she hopes will finally bind her husband becomes instead the name of the tribe that binds the twelve to God. LEVI + LEAH = 74 = JESUS. The mother-plus-son equation of the priestly tribe sums, exactly, to the name of the High Priest after the order of Melchizedek (Heb 7).
Leah's thirteenth word in Genesis 29:34 is LEVI. 26 (GOD) × 2 = 52 = ALTAR. The mother at the God-frequency, doubled, becomes the altar her son's tribe will tend.
At Sinai, every tribe had a prince at the census (Num 1-2, 7) — every tribe except Levi. Numbers 1:47-49 is explicit: "But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them... The middle son — from whom Amram → Moses, Aaron, and Miriam descend — is the Tesla-9 double-locked clan, 88.9% multi-cipher Tesla (the same signature as LEVI itself). Kohath alone among Levi's sons carries the Ark. Two primes bracket the redemption: the question (241, prime) and the command (239, prime — twin prime of 241!). 241 and 239 are a twin-prime pair. The question that separates Levi from the calf, and the command that consecrates Levi at the altar, are mathematically adjacent indivisibles — numbers with no factor between them but one. TEACH JACOB THY JUDGMENTS = 234 = DR=9, double Tesla, factors 2 × 3² × 13 = 18 × 13. The central task of Deut 33:10 locks to Tesla-9. 234 = 2 × 117 = 2 × 9 × 13. The priest's teaching office is the 9-13 frequency doubled — completion times transformation.
Deut 33:9 records the cost: "Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant." The priests become family-blind at the moment of consecration (Ex 32:27 — "slay every man his brother") and that blindness becomes the basis for the tribal office. The tribe of priests, whose gematria equals the number of cities (including 6 cities of refuge), is assigned the Psalm that names God Himself as refuge in a city. The Levitical city-system is a shadow. The real city is Zion. The real refuge is God. Issachar's first son and first judge is TOLA (gematria 48, Tesla-3 double, 7/9 ciphers). Levi the tribe is also 48. What does it mean that the judging office and the priestly office share the exact same gematria?

The judge and the priest are two faces of the same mediation function: the judge mediates between people, the priest mediates between people and God. Both sit at 48 because mediation is 48. VEIL = 48 = the thing the priest passes through to mediate. EPHOD = 48 = the garment that makes mediation possible. TOLA = 48 = the office that mediates disputes. 48 = 12 × 4 = the twelve tribes × the four directions = mediating to the tribes from every direction. That is what priest and judge both do. The gematria of the function is constant across its incarnations.
