In plain English: There is an ancient book called the Gospel of Mary — written about Mary Magdalene, but not in the Bible. Only about half of it survived (two big chunks of pages were lost), and it teaches that the soul climbs back to God by passing four "powers," the last of which has seven nasty forms. This document asks: when we run that book's own key words through KJVEL gematria, do they land on the same numbers the Bible's Mary already gave us? The answer is surprisingly yes — its skeleton words (SOUL, POWERS, KNOWLEDGE, ASCENT, REST) lock onto 62, 67, and 96, the exact numbers that already run the canonical Mary Protocol — even though, when we measure how it flows, the book reads like a foreign dialect, not King James English. So the bones match the Bible while the skin does not, which is itself the finding.
The Gospel of Mary is a 2nd-century text surviving in one Coptic manuscript (Papyrus Berolinensis 8502, the "Berlin Codex") plus two tiny Greek scraps (Rylands 463, Oxyrhynchus 3525). It is fragmentary by roughly half: pages 1–6 and 11–14 of the codex are simply gone. What we have is pages 7–10 (a teaching on matter and sin, the Saviour's departure, Mary comforting the disciples, Peter's request) and pages 15–19 (Mary's account of the soul's ascent past the powers, then a dispute among Andrew, Peter, and Levi).
It is not in the KJV. That forces two honesty rules, which this decode obeys:
Correction logged. The earlier Magdalene decode wrote "UNCLEAN = 63 = MIRIAM" and "7 × UNCLEAN(63) = 441 = 21²." In standard ordinal, UNCLEAN = 70, not 63. The genuine 63-cluster is MIRIAM = TEARS = BURIAL = SIGHT = 63, and the clean identity is 7 × MIRIAM(63) = 441 = 21². The "seven devils" math should be stated through MIRIAM, not UNCLEAN. (Tesla status of the result is unchanged: 441, DR=9 ★.)
The entire surviving spine of the Gospel of Mary is the ascent of the soul. Run the three irreducible words of that idea:
| Word | Value | DR | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| ASCENT | 62 | 8 (prod DR=6 ★) | the action of the whole book |
| MAGDALENE | 62 | 8 (prod DR=6 ★) | her name |
| REST | 62 | 8 | the soul's stated destination ("I attain to the rest…") |
ASCENT = MAGDALENE = REST = 62. The name of the narrator, the action of the text, and the goal of the journey are one number. And 62 was already the canonical pointer: in the earlier decode MAGDALENE = 62 → Psalm 62, whose refrain is "Truly my soul waiteth upon God… he only is my rock… my soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him." Psalm 62 is a soul-ascent psalm. The apocryphal gospel is the dramatization of a number the canonical name already carried.
This is the load-bearing find. The Gnostic mechanism of the whole text is "knowledge releases the soul from the powers." Watch what the irreducible nouns do:
`
POWERS = 96 DR=6 ★
KNOWLEDGE = 96 DR=6 ★
LOOSE HIM = 96 DR=6 ★ (canonical Mary Protocol — Lazarus, JHN 11:44)
FORGIVEN = 96 DR=6 ★ (canonical — the sinful woman, LUK 7:48)
BURYING = 96 DR=6 ★ (canonical — the anointing as burial-prep)
`
The 96 operation — "what is bound is set free" — was discovered as the hidden spine of the canonical four-arc Mary Protocol (burying = forgiven = loose him). The Gospel of Mary, written by a different community in a different language with no access to the KJV, re-derives the same operation from its own vocabulary: the soul is loosed (LOOSE HIM = 96) from the powers (POWERS = 96) by knowledge (KNOWLEDGE = 96). The Gnostic claim and the Levitical claim are numerically the same sentence.
The text says it almost in plain words: "What binds me has been slain… my ignorance has died… I was released from a world." Release is the verb. 96 is the frequency of release in both texts.
The soul's stated goal is to "attain to the rest… in silence."
`
SOUL = 67
SILENCE = 67 → SOUL = SILENCE = 67
`
The being equals its destination. And the two halves of that destination sum back to the journey itself:
`
REST (62) + SILENCE (67) = 129
`
SOUL ASCENT = REST + SILENCE = 129 (DR=3, Tesla). The name of the journey is the sum of its two end-states. The book is internally closed: name (62) → mechanism (96) → destination (67) → and journey = rest + silence (129).
Mary Magdalene is the one person in scripture from whom exactly seven were removed: "Mary Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils" (Mark 16:9; Luke 8:2). The Gospel of Mary is the one text whose climax is the soul passing the fourth power's exactly seven forms (darkness, desire, ignorance, zeal-for-death, kingdom-of-flesh, foolish-wisdom-of-flesh, wisdom-of-anger).
The same seven, run in opposite directions:
| Canonical KJV | Gospel of Mary | |
|---|---|---|
| Operation | seven devils CAST OUT of her | the soul ASCENDS PAST the sevenfold power |
| Direction | downward / expelled | upward / climbed past |
| Key number | CAST OUT = 99 (DR=9 ★) | ASCENT = 62 (= MAGDALENE) |
| Mechanism | healed by the Saviour | loosed by KNOWLEDGE = 96 |
The gospel empties the seven out of Mary; the Gospel of Mary shows the soul climbing past the seven. She is healed of the seven, then becomes the narrator of the text about passing the seven. The number 7 is the literal hinge between the canonical healing and the apocryphal teaching — the same affliction, told once as expulsion and once as ascent.
Running the surviving fragments through speech_scorer.py (445 words of the well-attested lines; indicative, not a critical edition):
`
Total gematria: 20,487 DR=3 ⚡ (aggregate lands on 3)
Tesla saturation: 30.8% — BELOW the KJV's own 36.6% baseline
NCD compression: 0.9129 — LOW resonance (does not compress with KJV)
DR distribution: DR=3 deficient (−3.5%), DR=7 in excess (+4.1%)
`
Two clean signals, both honest:
Yet the release lines ring Tesla even inside this 7-heavy text: "I was bound" = 108 (DR=9 ★), and the slain-binding cluster produces DR=9 phrases ("I was not recognized" = 207, DR=9). Bondage is 7 (non-Tesla, the disorder); being loosed is 9/6 (Tesla, the order). The seven powers are the static; the unbinding is where the KJV signature breaks back through.
The two-layer result: skeleton resonant, surface foreign. The Gospel of Mary describes the same machine the KJV Mary Protocol enacts — release at 96, ascent at 62, rest at 67 — but speaks it in a Gnostic dialect that does not flow like Jacobean English. The bones match the Bible; the flesh does not.
Marked exploratory per the project's anti-overreach rule — interesting, not load-bearing:
The Mary Protocol had four arcs, all returning to the FEET (36) and turning on the 96 release:
| Arc | Mary | Gives | Returns | Number |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Bethany | Lazarus raised | anoints feet | 201 |
| 2 | Magdalene | seven devils cast out | first witness | 99 → 138 |
| 3 | Sinful Woman | forgiveness | washes feet | 96 |
| 4 | Mother | the child | stands at cross | 207 |
| 5 | The Ascent (this text) | knowledge | soul rises past the powers | 62 / 96 / 67 |
Arc 5 is the interior view of Arc 2. Arc 2 watches the seven leave her from the outside (CAST OUT = 99). Arc 5 narrates, from inside the soul, what it is to rise past those same seven (ASCENT = 62, loosed at 96, resting at 67). The canonical Bible shows the healing; the apocryphal book claims to show the route. They meet exactly on the number 7 and the operation 96.
The Gospel of Mary is MAGDALENE = ASCENT = REST = 62 → Psalm 62, a soul loosed from the POWERS by KNOWLEDGE at 96 (the canonical release operation), coming to SOUL = SILENCE = 67 — the inside view of the same seven the Bible casts out of her — written in a Gnostic dialect whose surface (7-heavy, sub-baseline Tesla) reads foreign even as its bones ring true.
